Hello girls

Sorry, i was just caught up with school

These semester exams are nearing so i was burdened a little bit

NOTE 1 : Cruise will end within 2-3 updates . Maximum 5 updates 😛

NOTE 2 : i Will TRY to complete Cruise within 10th december

So here goes the 8th PART of cruise

Please ignore errors , i typed this one in a hurry

PART 8

" But how can ur dad leave u alone ??" Maan asked

"Coz he trusts me , he knew that I could lead my own life and he let only after I promised him that I could take care of myself " she paused " I know that dad is still fit and I knew that he knows that I am all right "

"How do you know ???"

"hmm'''A sort of telepathy " she told and giggled

Maan just smiled with her . She started staring at the waters while he stared at her for a brief minute .

"I think it was wrong in your dad's part ''''.."

"Everybody says so ''''''..but I believe he was right "

"Common girl , he left you to face the world alone "

"But he left me with one element ' Confidence . He knew I was capable of living alone and I was confident and matured enough . So why not ??"

"This was unfair"

"Everything is fair in love and war , my dad loved my mom . He felt suffocated in living in that house which had the memories of my mom . he wanted to be away from the whole world to sooth his pain and so I left him ."

Maan remained mute

"I know, this doesn't sound practical but guess what opinions changes from person to person . I don't want to sound rude but I don't have any other right words currently with me . This decision was purely taken with our lives and we don't have any problem with it and I think other should not have a problem " she paused to look at his face .

And she again continued "I knew that my dad would not be happy when he was here and I would not be happy when I see him unhappy so I thought why not set him free .If he lived with me he might end up with other emotional problems .. I hope you understand what I mean by emotional problems , This decision would not be correct in every relationship as everybody have different ways of thinking . But it suited both of us . I do not regret my decision and I knew I would not regret it in future too "

"May be , you are right " Maan spoke

Geet just smiled turned to look at her watch .

Just then maan remembered about her bracelet .

"Hey ! " Maan called out

"Yes , Mr.Khurana "

Maan dug his pockets and pulled out her bracelet .

"Your bracelet , you left it in the corridor "

"Oh thanks !!! "

Geet got her bracelet . Silence prevailed .

"So ''''.. " Maan began

Just then he received a call . Maan saw that it was dadi .

"Urmm'''..I have to go "

"Yeah , bye Mr.Khurana "

Maan just nodded and left the place .

It was 10pm in the night . Everybody retired back to bed . Maan slumped onto the bed and closed his eyes .

I trust him'''..

Geet's words rang in his ears . His eyes snapped open . He never thought that a relationship could be this way too . He never thought that a father would leave his daughter alone even when he loved her and the daughter would accept it .

This is ridiculous '. Maan thought

He always believed that relationships were like thin threads . Threads get cut when they lack one quality ' tensile strength . Relationships too get cut when they lack one quality ' Trust . But then he realized . Geet's relationship with her father has been a strong one . Coz she trusts her father . And when both the persons in a relationship trust each other then that relationship has a probability of success .

He then thought of the relationship he shared with Sameera - engaged .

Did he trust Sameera ??

Hmmm''...yes '.No '''. To be precise he did not know

He himself never knew if he trusted her or not . Assuming that he trusts , would their relationship be strong ??

It was absolutely no . Trust is a major factor in a relationship but trust alone doesn't make a relationship successful , especially when it comes to marriage . Infact it is the other way round .

A relationship without trust is a failure and a relationship with only trust may not be a success.

He himself never knew his feeling towards Sameera . Was it love , friendship , respect , idol or 'nothing ??????????

Not again he told himself .

Its decided ,Im engaged to Sam and my fate is sealed with her , that's it ' He told himself and shrugged off.

His thoughts went back to geet .

He had never seen a brave woman like her in his life other than his Daadi . Geet was brave and braver when it comes to emotions . A mere 18 year old girl ,telling her father that she could take care of herself when she needed him the most . An 18 year old girl , being so selfless and sensible that she realizes that her father could not control himself when he lives in the place that reminds himself of his love .A teenage girl who lets her father go away from her . And inspite of no one by her side , she was successful in moulding up herself . And the cherry on the cake was that she was aiming to be a writer '''..he had rarely seen people aiming for a writer . She was different and most importantly a good decision maker . For the first time he felt inferior of himself . He believed that he was not good at making decisions , especially after his last major decision ''''''.

Geet's father - A man to be pondered over . His mere thought made him feel how selfless the man was . How could he leave his daughter , he promised to love her and yet left her alone , it was unfair of him. But as geet said Everything is fair in love and war and moreover it was their relationship and when both were comfortable then they were not wrong .

Maan blocked all the thoughts and closed his eyes as sleep slowly invaded him .

The sunlight peeped through the curtains . Maan used the pillow to hide his face . Finally he woke up stretching his arms and he yawned slowly .

He rushed to the washroom , completing his daily chores . He had a warm shower and dressed up smartly . He wore his watch . Just then he heard knock of his door .

"Come in " Maan told as he turned

"Heya Maan , Gud morning " A feminine voice called him

"Gudmorning Sam !!! " Maan told and

"Maan ,its been more than a day we have come here and still you did not talk to me properly especially after the crystal ball night , forget about talking properly , we did not even tell each other a few words yesterday "

"Sorry Sam , I was caught up with few important chores and I came to talk to you in the noon but u were asleep and I did not want to disturb you "

"Its okay maan , look at this ''. "

She told pushing him her tablet top .

It was a mail sent to her .

"Guess what ??? My show is confirmed '''" She told with a grin

"Wow congrats " Maan told

" Thanks maan " told Sameera

"This international show will be a milestone in my career . After my ramp walk in this show i will be ' Sameera Khanna , one of the world's best models . I am so excited''''''.." and she continued to chirp .
