As expected.. it did get worse.. sameera n I had a big argument.. she was so mad at me for missing her dinner party, blaming me for her missing out on a big entry into movies.. bt frankly I wondered if she evr stood a chance.. she startd off as a small time model.. n sm hw I doubt I cud hv made a difference to her behavior!! Bt sameera was a drama queen, n though I put wid most of her whims n fancies bt ryt nw I was in no mood 2 relent or listen 2 her comments.. I tried tellin her wht had happened bt she was no wer close 2 stoppin n I lost it when she started callin maahi names.. I just cudnt tk it nymore.. I switched off my cell n went 2 bed..

I had a restless nyt.. sleep evaded me til late n when I finally i did, maahi s words tormented me..

Geet too had a restless nyt too.. she cudnt decide wht 2 do.. der were sm many thngs on her mind.. bauji s health, d finances, maahi s emotional state, d divorce.. she just dint know wht 2 handle n hw.. evry thng seemed out of ctrl.. she so desperately wanted a shoulder 2 lean on n cry her heart out bt der was no one..

She woke up maahi, n got her ready for school coz stayin at home wud remind her of ystrdy bt for d first tym she was also apprehensive abt wht dey talk abt at school.. abt maan..

As she fed her breakfast n seeing maahi unusually quite, geet bent down 2 maahi s level.. giving her a quick kiss

"maahi.. beta I just wanna say whtever happened ystrdy.. just remember maa n dada love u a lot!!"

"no maa. Dada doesn't love me.. infact he s angry wid me n he doesn't even accept me as his.."

Geet dint let her complete.. "he s just angry honey.."

"bcoz of me?"

d bell rang 4 d school 2 begin..

evry1 dispersed..

Maahi quietly left from der.. nt wanting 2 face ny1 or nythng..

Her lil mind was stressed out.. n she dint understand wht exactly was wrong.. except tht she wanted a family like evry1 else..

She removed d piece of paper from her bag in which she had scribbled a no n address she had noted from d directory.. she had 2 set thngs ryt..
