First of all, Shru..I wanted to reserve in a very peculiar way and that is why I chose the word Turez🤣

THE PRESENT

By the time it was time for Diwali vacation, I and Vikram have become good spare time partners, I will not call him my buddy as there were certain things about him that I disliked, such as the way he talked intimately to the female faculty, the only female he talked indifferently was his colleague Geet madam, now I have started calling her madam and she called me sir.

Once I asked her, ''madam how come you became such good friends with Vikram sir'' she frowned and said, '' he is not my friend, in fact he is acquainted with my husband, and he and myself, we both have enrolled under same guide at the same time for PhD'' I interrupted, '' but I was told that your PhD is almost complete, you will be awarded doctorate in a month or so'' she gave me a stern look, ''yes, and his synopsis has not yet being submitted, but we have been acquainted since we enrolled thus are quite use to each other, but that does not make him my friend. Is he your friend?'' I was taken aback by the question she threw on me, I had no answer, she smiled and said, '' no one who is acquainted with him on daily basis that too for nonstop 6 hours is likely to like him, so its fine, he is a good time pass but not a pleasant colleague'' I just smiled, she was straight forward and sometimes out-rightedly rude, but she was nice.

As days passed I almost became friends with her, she shared my problems and discussed hers with me. As she was new she needed guidance, and as Vikram Sir was least concerned about the administrative problems, she had to work harder. I always helped her, she would sit for the whole day in my cabin at times, sometimes to draft letters or sometimes to avoid Vikram Sir.

As time passed, many times she fought with Vikram Sir, she did not like his careless ways, she shouted at him to shut up from his singing. Did I mention Vikram sir was a good singer?

It was during the end semester papers when we use to have double duties, that she finally nailed the last bolt, Vikram Sir had between duties invited many female faculties to pool lunch in the cabin; now the problem was she did not like eating from anyone's lunch, so during break time she pleaded me to let her hide in my cabin and I helplessly agreed. I have never been able to say no to her.

But this lead to rumors; In the starting I paid no attention to them, but as the other semester started the rumors took pace, whenever we use to talk, someone use to watch.

During Holi celebration the things turned bad, I had to avoid the celebration as by then I realized the heat of them, but I heard that Vikram Sir had left no chance, and applied color on every female teaching faculty, of course he dared not touch Geet Madam, and with her he never crossed limits. Lucky for her that the female faculty in our college never indulged in such talks, so she never knew what was going around.

After Holi holidays I found that she has distanced herself more from Vikram sir, she has even started attacking him with sarcastic comments.

As the relation between them turned from bad to worse, the rumors increased to such extent that the director himself asked me how far they were true.

I started avoiding her, but she was sharp, she first asked my attendant and then one day when Vikram Sir was in the class came to me and scolded me to react on such talks. The way she said I knew she was right even if we stop talking things will not change and it was Vikram Sir who was the source of all this, she was quite sure about it, she knew him well, he was a person who believed in defaming others to make their hard work worthless, and by reacting on it we are giving him the satisfaction of triumph, if we start ignoring the rumors they will eventually die.

And we did the same, we did talk to each other, but from our respective cabins, but whenever Vikram Sir was there either she would come to my cabin or I would go to theirs. We purposely talked to each other in front of him.

One fine day, Rajveer one of the faculty who has joined with me, came to my cabin, Madam and Sir both had gone to take an external viva to a nearby college. Rajveer has always been a good colleague; we could be called as friends. He very seriously said, ''I know your wife no longer lives with you and you miss her, but'' I was surprised why he would bring my wife in this? What did he want to talk about? I asked him, '' Rajveer don't bring my wife in between what you want to say, are you trying to hint something?''

He sighed and said, ''look now a days everyone is talking about you and Geet madam'' I said ''so'', he fumbled when I gave him a stern look, but he added, '' she is married and has 2 kids'' I said, ''so'' he scratched his head and said, '' look she is very close to Dev sir and'' I laughed, who can be more close to Dev then me, but no one knows that he is my bestest best friend, Rajveer gave me a disapproving look, ''you just don't understand if the rumors that are spreading reach Dev sir, you sure will be fired'' I liked that someone cares for me, I said, ''never mind Rajveer, there is nothing like that and as far as you don't believe it, I don't care, you should talk to her, she is a nice and friendly lady, once you know her you will understand the relation we share'' I knew he was not convinced, but I did not give up hope, I said, ''you are store in charge, she was searching for you'' he was alarmed, '' why?'', I almost laughed at his reaction, '' she needs to get AC installed in her computer lab, she has got permission today itself, I am sure she will approach you tomorrow'' we talked about things and had our lunch.

Once Rajveer had to talk to her, he found Geet madam to be amazing and he apologized for his misunderstanding.

On the very weekend Dev came to my quarter and I told him about the rumors, I said, ''so now the latest target of the gossipers is me and Geet'' he laughed, '' good progress buddy, in just a year she has progressed a lot, from Mrs. Geet to Geet madam and now Geet'' I did not know what to say, ''Dev, she '' he interrupted,'' it's ok I know you well, but why are you blushing''.

From that day Dev left no chance to tease me, I gradually got use to it, he even teased me in front of Geet, and she took everything head on and elegantly.

One day in 2011,

10 years of maan's life in just one update

and soo many things to think about

firstly that dev maan's best buddy

secondly maan's wife who left him because of his dadi

and entry of geet ,who is maaried and have two kids also

after reading first part , i came to a conclusion that i am totally confused

pls update next part soon
