Geet agrees to Vikram's commands!

The funeral took place privately. Only a few people were called. Dadima, Maan, Pinky, Adi and Manchanda (Pinky's father). Geet's parents, Rano and Mohinder Handa also came after finding out that their beloved daughter, whom they tried to give a life to live had been killed tragically. Meera turned to them and said

'Geet ek bohot acchi ladki ti. Meri bohot pyari dost jo hamesha dusro ki liye jeeti ti' Meera turned to Maan. He obviously looked guilty. But as Meera at the time was broken and angry when she accused him, she knew he was not at fault. He was kept in the dark in all this. Meera turned to him and gave him all of Geet's items. He looked at her confused.

'Shayad kal raat main kuch jyada bol gayi. Lekin isme apka kasoor nahi ta. Jo kuch bi hua, kismet ka khel ta' Meera said to Maan who had tears coming out of his eyes. The funeral ended quickly. Media surrounded Meera's house trying to get a glimpse of everyone but Maan made sure that there was no media hype. He knew that his Geet would not like it. Geet's parents thanked Maan for everything he did for their daughter. Giving her a new life, even though short. Maan felt more guilt as he was gaining praises.

Dev had taken the next flight to Canada. He knew he could not live here in peace. He knew he had a part to play in Geet's death. If only he never did the things to Geet he did. Meera also packed and left the following flight after the funeral.

That evening Maan was in the gym conducting mass tai chi and exercise. Even if Meera did not think he was guilty, he was. He should have read through her eyes. He should have known everything. That night, she refused to tell him Dev's truth when he was realeased from hospital thinking she would break apart his family. She didn't want to take away his happiness. He remembered her words and screamed and jumped down and broke a block of ice. He saw that his hand was bleeding.

'Maan yeh kya kar rahey ho aap?' A voice said. Maan turned around and saw Geet in a white dress suit looking at him. She had tears in her eyes. She walked up to him and placed her hand on his cheek.

'aap jantey ho na, aagar aap ko chot poch ti hai to mujhe dard hota hai' She said taking his hand which was bleeding into her hands. She bent down and kissed it. He looked at her in pain.

'waada kijiye mujse aap kabhie apne aap ko chot nahi pochayenge, warna dard mujhe hoga' Geet said softly holding his face.

'waada karta hu Geet. Main apne aap ko kabhie bi taqleef nahi pochaonga' He replied. Geet held his hand and directed him to his bedroom and made him lie down. She turned to leave when Maan grabbed her hand.

'Geet mujhe chor kar na jao' He said in anguish. She turned and saw him and replied

'Mujhe jana hoga Maan. Main ab yahaa nahi reh sakti. Lekin main hamesha aapke pass hu,' She said. She then took his hand into his and placed it over his heart.

'yaha par' She smiled and kissed his chest. 'ab aap sojaye, kal office nahi jaana kya?' She smiled at him. Maan closed his eyes and then opened it and Geet was gone.

'GEET' Maan realised it was a hallucination, that Geet came to him. But why did it feel so real?. He knew hurting himself will hurt Geet more. He couldn't keep her happy in life, he has to keep her soul happy. He walked to his desk and picked up her diary. He picked it up.

Day 1 in Office. June 18^th

'Babaji, yeh aap kya kar rahe ho meri zindagi ke saath. Apko pata hai mujhe kaha nokri mili hai, Khurana Constructions. Aur waha ka maaliq kaun hai. Wohi Akro Maan Singh Khurana. Atti hi main aunke bahoon main girgaye. Mujhe kitna bara jatka laga ke yeh yaahan ke boss hai. Kaise ajeeb insaan hai. Aaj to main marti marti bachi. Woh kharoos ne mujhe kitna sunaya. Maana ke main choti sheher ke ladki hu. Lekin time to lagda hai na. Sab log aunse daar te hai. Main nahi darni wali. Aur ha main piche bi nahi hatni wali. Pata nahi kyun lekin mujhe aisa lag raha hai, mere aun se baar baar milna kismet ka khel hai. Aaj raat woh mujhe ghar drop kiya ta. Kaisa ajeeb banda hai, maadat bi karta hai aur akad bi dikata hai. Maine bohot rudly baat ki ti. Mujhe aunse maafi magni hogi. Mai kaal maafi maglongi.

Aaj raat main ghar late pochi us Maan ke waaja se, lekin jab main andar gayi, Manchanda uncle bilkul naaraz nahi teh. Aur Pinky aur unnone khana tak nahi khaya. Woh log kitni aache hai. Mujhe pehle baar laga main bi ek Insaan hu. Maana yeh sab Maan ke waaja se hua hai. Agar woh mujhe larna nahi sikatey, toh shayad, main kabhi insaan ke tara reh nahi pati. Thank You Maan sir. Xxx

Day 2 in office.

Satyanash kardiya maine. Aaj main Maan ko sorry bolne gayi ti aur waaha par maine coffee giradi. Mujhe laga ke aaj main to paki gayi. Aur phir office main, conference main, meri galti nahi ti. Unnone galat file di aur kitna kuch sunadiya. Dusht Danav. Saari galti meri nahi hoti. Clients ke samne maine baat sambal ni koshish ki aur hum kaamyab bi hue. Lekin Maan sir Zaalim hai. Uff. Day 3 in office.

Pata nahi kya chalta aunke dimaq main. Maan sir ke kaha koi galti nahi honi chahiye, aur main ghabragayi. Pata nahi kaise. Aur unnone meri maadat ki ti. Sab kuch bataya. Kitna aache hai na Maan sir. Main party ki tayari kar rahi ti jab main ladder se ghiri. Lekin Maan sir ne bachaliya. Thank God. Bar bar bachane aatey hai. Lekin phir se gharbar. Phir party main sari, Tasha ne kaha ke Maan sir ne diya ta. Aur us baat pe chillana shuru. Phir kisi ne khana change kardiya aur yeh sab kuch mere sar par illzam. Phir Maan sir ne mujhe dance ke liye kichaa.. aur mujhe sunaya phir se. Bus main bi kaha meri dil ke baat ke main sirf unke khushi chahti hu aur woh mujse nafrat karna bandh kardey. Pata nahi kyun Maan ke baat dil pe chot dete hai. Aur phir unnone meri saat close dance kiya. Forced dance. Aur chaley gaye. Phir kya hua, us Sasha ne meri saari phardi aur Rahul ne kitni cheap comments mara. Kamina.. Aur wahan Maan sir ne meri maadat ki ti. Aunnone mujhe apna blazer diya. Aur main waha se bhag gayi. Phir Maan sir ne mujhe sambala aur meri kapri lekar aa gaye. Aunnone kaha ek Room hai jaha par main change karsakti hu. Aunnone kaha waha par unka bhai chavi lekar ata hoga. Thank God Maan ne mujhe ause mil ne nahi diya warna.. Main room main gayi aur sab kuch maine dekha phool, aur sab Dev ki yaad agayi. Pata nahi kyun atteet kabhi picha nahi chorta. Maine jaldi se change kiya aur nikal gayi. Maan sir ne mujhe dekha aur piche chaley ayi. Maine kaha mujhe akele jeena sikna hoga. Woh hamesha pass nahi rahenge'

Maan read the few pages, cried smiled laughed at the memories that Geet had written down. He lay asleep with the diary over his chest. It was the words Geet gave him made him smile, her antics on those days made him laugh. He cried remembering those close moments. He fell asleep promising to keep this diary near his heart always. The taweez he had already kept near his heart.

Meanwhile Geet had awoken from her sleep to be in an unknown place. She remembered that she was in rain and party and then Naintara. She looked at her stomach and felt her baby.

'Geet tum jag gayi' Geet turned to see a man. He felt familiar to her but she cannot put her name on it. 'kaise ho tum?'

'main yahaan kaise, mera bacha…' Geet started.

'Geet tumhara bacha tik hai aur main tumhe yaha lekar aaya. Goli tumhe waist par lagi ti, that's why your child survived.' He replied. Geet looked at him.

'Ab tum jaldi se tik hojao aur hum waapas ghar challenge, sirf main aur tum' He replied smiling stroking her hair. Geet jerked at his touch.

'aap…ka matlab kya hai aur Meera aur Maa…' Geet started.

'Auska naam bi mat lena.. Samji Geet. Tum ab sirf meri ho. Tumhe yaad nahi Geet, Main Vikram Ranawat. Hoshyapur main hum dono dost teh' He said. Geet looked at him and realised.

'ab sunno, maine bohot interzaar kar liya tumhara aur meri baat tik se suno, ab tum sari duniya ke liye marchuke ho. Sab maantey hai tum ab marchuke ho. Liken meri Geet kaise marsakti hai. Who to meri pass hai na' He smiled.

'aapka matlab kya hai?' Geet asked confused and frightened.

'yehi, ke aus accident main sab manti hai tum marchuke ho aur tumhara funeral bi hochuka hai. Lekin ab se tum meri pass ho hamesha ke liye.. hum yaha Mumbai main hai lekin kuch dino main hum UK chali jayenge sab se door. Aur ha tumhe aus Maan ko bulana hoga samji.'

'Maan, woh kaise hai? Wo tik to haina. Meri baat sunkar.. Vikram please main unne dekna chahti hu..' Geet said remembering about Maan. She knows that Maan loves her and Meera might have told him the truth. Vikram smirked and turned the tv on Geet saw her funeral news and Maan in tears.

'ab se tum Reet ho. Sirf meri Reet.. aur ha, jitni jaldi ho sakey tum Maan ko buljana warna, tum janti ho main kya kar sakta hu. Aur Main Maan ko zinda nahi choronga'.

Geet looked at Vikram afraid and agreed to his demands. She knew this was wrong. Maan is in pain hurt that he thinks she is dead. He will never be able to move on now. Pinky is hurt because she lost a sister and Adi has lost a sister too. But more worried because she knows Vikram will do what he says. He is crazily obsessed with her.
