I'm not sure if some of you feel that this day in the story has been one hellava lengthy day. But I felt in the last version, I never justified why Geet sees Maan differently even at a professional length and that is what I'm trying to achieve in the next few updates. Their camaraderie was achieved too soon and felt a little baseless the last time around - with nothing but their initial attraction left to justify everything that they come to share from this point onwards and I don't want it to be so in this version.

He will still make her run around and then there is that other cliched scene where she drops the papers in the hallway... all of which I'm still keeping because of requests made earlier.

PS I agree that some parts in today's update were a bit technical - boring even - but, hey! what's a story without its details, right? I have tried my best to explain that part without too much jargon and hoping that you don't have to skip it...;)

Part 10: The coughing fit took me by surprise. Her awareness before that of the sensations that one touch had made her feel is so different from the Geet in my head. This Geet is keenly aware and somehow sure of herself. I like the comaradrie in the cafe with the office girls. That is such a part of life and the comments on the people ordering so everyday that it fits right in and you can very easily visualize doing that with a bunch of friends. I love how visual your writing is and I think most awesome writers can take their readers on a journey with them. I have said that before it is like watching a movie. That scene when he notices the ring was new and totally worth waiting for.

I could definately empathise with Geet when she found out he was right all along, what a mortifying moment. And don't we all just despise that one person that's never wrong?

Maan is a strict proffesional, I think this version does justify their relationship a lot more because a man like him surely doesn't fraternise easily with colleagues.

When u said u were re-writing this I thought it might not be good as the original but I am 😲

omg... what happened to Meera's friend Geet? She actually barred her soul to her super boss? Like just like that? Holy &^%$. I could not stop laughing through out the update... love it.

Chapter 11, 12: The ring of power...😆. Interesting what he thinks. I truly loved the old NYT but this is so much fun. The characters are getting rounded in a different yet endearing way. There is so much insight to his thought process and it is so right in a way. All of us generally have this self talk going on (somedays I wish I could tape mine) and it is so much fun to read it here. As attracted to her as he may be I like how he keeps himself the boss and her on her toes. She is so much stronger here where she is easily standing up for herself and defending her actions without being apologetic. I am not sure if this is something you would like us to do as an author but we cannot keep from comparing both stories. Part 2 of NYT coming also; 3 updates and on top of that the continuation; I think I died and went to heaven.😊

Comparison is fine as long as the second version is still better than the original...;)
