Maan calling G his lady witch friend 😆

U people stop making decisions for... stop shaping my life 😭 I felt Geet's pain

It must be awful for people knowing ur past yet u don't, its like a remote control life, Maan is trying to rewind, press fast forward, stop, lets play now no lets edit this - this is the only way I can summarise this update

He smiled and unable to hold himself back from making a remark, he said, "I always knew woman can never really resist my charm at length..."

"Now, that just makes me want to add, arrogant ass to that long list of titles I had conferred upon you not too long ago...", and she said smiling too. 🤣

She froze. The clipper fell to the ground and her finger left his clasp slowly to cover her mouth as she gave out a gasp. "I have done this before", she whispered, "Haven't I?"

"Ok...Listen!", he was on his feet the next instant, his hands in a surrendering gesture, while she took a step back and his insides quivered from a morbid dread that shot through his body, "Its not what you think..." This was the best part Geet finally remembered something 😃

"You...", she took another step back, her finger pointed at him, shaking from that spasm of recognition.

"No...wait..." He reached for her hand, but it was too late by then, when the door fell open and Arthur and Alistair 😡 why did they had to walk in where's the button to press erase

Partly, he felt something had been stolen from him then and he'd in part stolen something from her too, by creeping up on her with his assault of an unintentional admission. 😭

Not until he'd reached the entryway, he paused to look at her. Then again, a vision of her hurt and bleeding in his arms came to him and it didn't take him one breath to find his old perverse sense of purpose once more, when that was the only way he'd learnt to love her. Her bygone suffering, provoked life into his limbs, his veins throbbing with the same distress that he'd seen in her eyes. One last look at her and then rubbing his forehead, as if he was wiping something off his skin there, he took in a deep breath and turned on his heel to walk away. 💔

I need to read the next part or I might not be able to sleep

Geet's baby died in the blast

"Would you..." her voice fell to a whisper; a sob escaped her throat, "for the baby that I lost in the bomb blast?..."😭😭😭

"Tell me...", finally having worked up an ire, she urged with vehemence, "I need to know, that I wasn't just a play thing in an agent's hands who had no missions to go on...that I wasn't your afternoon retreat on bed..."👍🏼

Then, it happened when his body could only give heed to her voice over the phone from that instant forward: an old lady crossed over surprising a van - that was approaching him in the opposite direction - to go off its lane and put him head on with the speeding vehicle. The next second, there was a blinding light, a piercing on-shoot of pain from his chin and then it was an abyss of black that he was falling into

The last two paragraphs oh my heart drenching

A car crash this is more gripping than a movie

H love how u play with words bring out the best to write how it should be 👏

Finally caught up with all the updates 🥳

Part 12 🤗🤗🤗

Maan letting go of Geet for her happiness but when will he realise she is not happy, its a bit like one heart & two souls.

This update reminded me of the Lauren Hill song (sorry if I have miss spelt her name) Killing me softly with his fingers.

Geet was right Giovanna is his mummy who can't see him unhappy like this. Mummy wants to see her son happy not like a robot whose dead just taking the orders. Mummy is right Maan is scared to let go of the wall he has build to protect Geet. Little he knows she is dying just to figure out her past to bring peace to the present she's living in while Maan has jumped into the future wanting her to be happy with Dev.

Its made me realise that agents/soldiers r also human beings like us have feelings want to live like normal but sacrifice all of this for the love of their country.

H each update surpasses the previous update excellent writing skills excellent choice of words u use.

"If it counts for something..." Giovanna stood from her seat with an abrupt vehemence, "Then you should know that she panicked for you when we all heard the crash through the speaker..."😭

Her tone was soft, filled with the same emotion he often heard when she spoke of Geet, "So much so that, she lost her voice for a few minutes and yet she was speaking your name...Looking at me and mouthing 'Did I do this?' when she couldn't even realize there wasn't a sound escaping her throat"😔

Why don't you all just put me under the ground and bury me alive?, he wanted to yell at them; for at that moment, he felt an intense chocking while he pictured his lungs fill up with a steady flow of mud and dust. 💔

"Thanks...", he mustered a steadiness in his voice, as he took the keys that he kept in the runner "But no thanks...That was one detail I could have lived without..."

When he was at the door, Giovanna spoke interrupting his leaving the room, "You are scared...aren't you?..."

He couldn't help but stop at her claim; which must have been offending, but it wasn't then. However, he refused to face her as she continued to address him.

"Scared that she would have access to her past if you told her everything and still not love you as she did before...", she spoke at a slow pace, modulating herself such that her motivations behind her intent to hurt him would trickle down direct as a saline into his veins, "Scared of that rejection...scared that you might just end up kindling expectations for a life with her again..."

He stood there for a beat longer and prayed for composure to outlive the animal urge at wanting to tear something apart with his bear hands.

"I'm scared G...scared that she will end up inside a box", he said without looking and added after a moment's repose, "I will see you tomorrow...then...", before walking away.

Maan if only u realised that Geet is already inside the box

Hey.. Hansini... !!! I thought u were on a break... !!!

I was just browsing through and found New York Times was updated...and was surprised to see u r re-writing it... !!! So there is lot to catch up for me.. I have BMed it for now.. !!!

But before that... I read this one first.. coz I really like it... !!! Geet having amnesia, Maan is an undercover agent..or super-spy..(something like that...) and all the Techno-savy background of this story.. loved it all...!!! 😊

The last update was very nice.. and sad too.. MG had a baby.. and Maan never knew abt it.. !!!
