After 6 months
Dadima, Vicky and Geet all three had left for US. Though Geet was not in her senses the doctors had assured tat by taking her to US she would get the best treatment. They had even appointed the best specialists for her as it was a special case. So as per the doctors advice dadima and Vicky after settling in US had started Geet's treatment. Though Geet still did not respond fully but her condition was far better. The medical facilities and doctors did their best for Geet's recovery. On the other side khuranna's were fully drawn into pain and guilt tat Yash and Naina even did not see Maan after Vicky and Dadima leaving. They knew tat though they were equally guilty but Maan's sins were unforgivable. Naina spend her days and nights cursing her fate for having such childrens. Maan had totally devasted but still had to live for his family. He worked hard for them and totally engrossed himself in work.
On the other side the Handa's were not better. Arjun's divorce case was not moving forward. Annie was not ready for giving him divorce and had warned him tat if he does not listen to her demands she would put false charges against him. Though Arjun knew how low could Annie get, still he did not agree to her and Annie at last put accusations on him for physical torture. It was very tuff for them as Annie though in jail she used all means of accussing him. the news was pulled by the media which created many problems for the Handa business and it was suffering losses from all side. Maan though himself in dark he helped the Handas form getting out of this mess. He blamed himself for all this. Atlast Annie put her final demand saying tat she would take her case back if Maan would take his case behind and equally give her share from both the Khuranna's and Handa's property. Though first they did not agree but seeing tat the families reputation was at stake they agreed to her demands. But the whole case and the ongoings had left a big scar on both the families. The Handa's were all broken and Mohinder started keeping unwell. He could not take the burden tat he could not understand his own daughter. Though the handa's stayed in the HH they hardly talked to each other. Arjun was all broken but he engrossed himself in work and to rebuild his business and reputation. Maan helped him without Arjun knowing anything. Rano was all alone in her grief and cut herself from the outside world. She stopped meeting and going out. She would whole day sit in Geet's rooms just staring at geet's photo. She could cry out for geet the whole day and there was no one who would console her. Mohinder, a strong business man was the one who was more suffered. He did loved geet the most but had never shown his affection towards her openly. He had trust in his daughter more than Arjun but when he thought tat Geet broke his trust he had become blind and did the biggest mistake of his life. He started spending his most of the time sitting alone at one corner of the house and other time he would sit in childrens park where he though tat he would find some peace but he never did. He would feel tat the whole world was laughing at him tat he himself pushed his own child to death. He started getting ill frequently with regular high blod pressure and was almost hospitalized for his conditions many time in the hospital.
Yash and Naina tried many times to contact Vicky and Dadima but they failed as whenever they called them Vicky just warned them tat if they try to meet them they would leave US also and would never be able to know where they are and Maan did not even dare call them as he remembered Vicky saying tat he does not want to see his face. Maan died hundred of deaths seeing his both the families in pain. He being the most powerful businessman could not do anything for them. He believed tat his sins were the main cause for all this. He now realized why Geet always said tat no one should know the truth as no one will be able to live in peace. He now realized tat this was wat she always feared for, feared for him, feared for her families tat they will destroy themselves after knowing tat she was all innocent and her all fears came true. He cursed himself for not having a bit of trust in his own love and he was blind.
It was seven months now geet was in US and her condition was much better. It was a day when the doctors finally could bring her back to her senses. It was almost a miracle tat Geet had opened her eyes after such long eyes. Though her body was responding to the treatment but there was no sign tat she will ever open her eyes. It was like her heart did not wanted to live and when she slowly opened her eyes everyone was happy. Dadima and Vicky were on cloud nine just by seeing their geet opening her eyes but the very next moment they were shattered with the word of doctors. The doctors did her check but found tat she id not respond to anyone. though she was normal but she was not responding to anyone, not even her own family.
Doctor: Mr. Khuranna, is true tat geet opening her eyes is not less than a miracle but it looks like she she can see and hear everything around us but does not respond. I
Vicky: but doctor how can it be. You said tat once she opens her eyes she will be normal. Than how can
Doctor: I know Mr. Khuranna. But in rare cases it does happen . you may know tat geet was not in coma but still she did not open her eyes and looked like she did not wanted to live but as of now she is back. Since she is back to senses I have been observing her and found out tat she is just staring and in deep thoughts. May be tat she remembers everything but her heart and mind are not in her control. In such cases only time will help her to get her out of her shell. Its very important for her to come out of this depression. But one thing is there, I found tat whenever ur grandmother is around she only stares at her as if she wants her to tell something but cant. So this is a good sign also. But just remember tat no tension and stress for her. she needs only love and care now and this will help her to come out of all this. its better tat she stays with her loved ones so tat they will help her to come out and yes please never remind her of her child right now as it may be dangerous for her. she may don't evn know tat she had a miscarriage or may not know tat she was pregnant, so lets wait till her next move so tat we can give her further treatment and right now you can take her home and homely environment will help her for recovery.
Dadima and Vicky were more shattered by hearing this. one side they were happy tat geet was back from her long sleep but the other side were in pain seeing her lifeless. She was alive but not less than a dead body. Dadima remembered how lively geet was but now seeing her all silent was killing them. They tried all the measures to make her break down but she would just keep staring at them mostly dadima as if trying to tell her something. She would just stare outside for long hours without blinking her eyes. It looked like she was waiting for someone to come and embrace her. she did not even know tat her baby had left her but sometimes dadi would see tat she slowly caressed her stomach. Dadima could not bear all this.
Days passed by and so did months and now it was almost a year tat they were in US and three months since Geet opened her eyes but there was no improvement in her . she would just stay like a lifeless body and waiting for someone. Though dadima stayed with her almost the whole day in this three months she never heard a word from geet. Dadima talked with her but Geet would just be total blank with no emotions. It was a day when Dadima got a call from Adi saying tat Mohinder had an attack and was serious. He also told her tat Mohinder wanted to meet her. though Dadima said tat she is not interested to keep any relations with the Handa's and Khuranna's but somewhere she felt bad for Mohinder tat they had to suffer because of her own granddaughter. Finally she made a decision tat she would travel back to India and told Vicky tat she would return within few days and gave him the full responsibility of Geet. Vicky did fear for some reason tat Dadima would break down seeing the families but he knew tat whatever happens she will never ever tell them tat Geet is alive as they coming in front of geet would be very dangerous for her but poor Vicky did not know tat it was only and only Maan who could help her.
Dadima straight away went to the hospital and was told tat Mohinder had suffered a severe attack and was under treatment. As soon as she reached there she saw the Handa's and Khuranna's present in the hospital. All were shocked to see her as no one had inform mohinder but seeing Adi with her they came to know tat he must have informed. Dadima did ignore all of them and met up with Rano. She felt felt for rano but as soon as she remembered about geet her anger roused but control herself. Rano totally broke down seeing her and hugged her and cried.
Rano: Apne theek kaha tha maaji ki humari gunaah ki sazza hume mil jayengi. Aur yeh dekhiye babaji ne de di hume apni sazza.
(you were right maaji tat we will get out punishment for our deeda.and see now god gave us)
Dadima did not say anything just caressed her hair. She did not wanted to say anything as she felt tat they all deserved this.
Rano: geet ke papaji kabhi apne aap ko maaf nahi kar paye ki unhone apne haatho se apni beti ki zindagi cheen li. Ek din bhi aisa nahi tha jab unhe apni galati ki sazza nahi mili. Peechle ek saal se ishi gham bhi jeethe aaye hain ki kab unhe maut mile aur woh geet se milkar maafi maang le aur dekhiye shayad ish baar babaji ne unki baat maan li par apni aakhiri saans sambhal li hain uhone taaki woh aapse maafi mange. Jaye maaji jaye unh se mil jiye, hume tho unhone milne se mana kiya hain. aur ho saktha hain ki aapse milne ke baad woh kuch shanty paye.
( geet's father never forgived himself as he felt tat he himself killed his daughter. Everyday he punished himself. Since last one year he is just waiting for his death so tat he can ask sorry for geet. But this time god has listened to hima and he is just waiting for u so tat he can say sorry to u. he does not even wanst us to meet)
Dadima did not say a word and slowly moved inside his room. She was shocked to see the powerful businessman lying almost dead in the hospital bed. She could not believe tat the person who showed himself always strong would break down completely. She slowly walked near his bed and sat down on the chair. Though she hated all of them but she always though Mohinder as her son. She slowly caressed his hair and Mohinder opened his eyes. As soon as mohinder saw her he broke down and started to cry. He hold her hand and said with heavy breathing.
Mohinder: Maaji….. main aapka hi…. Intezaar kar…. Raha tha….

Dadima tried to stop him but he was determined to talk and pour his heart to the lady who never doubted his daughter.
Mohinder: nahi aaj.. nahi.. maaji… aaj kehne dijiye mujhe.. jo mere dil mein hain… pata hain.. ki .. main ek aisa badkismat pita hoon.. jisne apne … haatho se apni beti.. ko maut di…nahi samjh paya.. apni phool si beti ko…nahi jaan paya ki geet jaisi beti tho… kismet walo ko milti hain… bhagwan ne tho meri.. kismet mein geet ko beti… banana kar bheja… par main ushe nahi sambhal paya… jis haatho se ushe pehli baar godh mein liya tha ushi haatho ne ushe muat di.. agar bhagwan bhi hume maaaf kar de, par hum kabhi apne aap ko nahi kar paayege…… par humari beti….. bahut kushnaseeb thi…. Ki ushe aap jaisi dadi saas mili…. Hum uske mata pita hokar bhi… ush par yakeen …. Nahi kar paye.. par hum ne.. apna yakeen.. barkarar rakha.. yakeen kiya aapne geet par…… ki… woh kabhi galat nahi ho sakthi hain..
( no maaji not today. Let me speak today. I know tat m a bad father. .. who killed.. his own daughter with his hands….. I did not understand my child…. Only destiny gives such girl but I was unlucky tat I never usnderstood her…..the same hands killed her who had first time taken her when she was born…..but our daughter was so lucky tat… she got u as her grandmother….. we being her mother and farther did not trust her but.. u did…. Tat she can never be wrong.)
Dadima: bas mohinder aur kuch mat kaho. Aapki tabiyat theek nahi hain.

Mohinder: nahi maaji.. aaj hume kehne dijiye… shayad humare waqt.. aa juka hain… par ushe pehle hume.. aapse maafi maagni hain.

Ek pita jo apni.. beti pe barosa.. nahi kartha.. ushe humari maut dekh kar… samjh aaye ki… betiya ghar ki lakshmi hoti hain aur… unhe thukrana matlab… apni zindagi ko hamesha.. kho dena.. aap please hume maaf kar dijiye aur hum bhagwan se yahi dua karthe hain… ki agar hume agla.. janam diya tho hume.. geet hi wapas beti ke roop mein mile…
( I know tat… I did wrong with geet. And god.. did not even give us a chance to say sorry to geet…. But u.. are like god to us…. Between us.. it was only.. you who… had trust on geet… tat she can..never be wrong… tat she can never… betray maan…. and we never listened to u.. and see.. now god .. punished us…even after dying.. I don't think tat.. I will.. be able to ask…. Sorry to geet…u were.. right tat.. even after ..having everyone… we have to stay alone… and tats our punishment…. Plz forgive us… if u.. forgive us.. I will..think tat even somewhere geet did….if geet was there today.. I would have a peaceful death…but no I should get a dreadful death so tat.. no father do such things….. plz forgive me…. And I will pray tat if god.. gives.. me another chance..than I will ask geet only as my daughter)
Doctor: I had told Mr. Handa tat he should not take stress. This his 2nd stroke within a year. Its very difficult for us as his blood pressure is not at all stable. M sorry but we cant do much in this case. In hope tat the medicines does it work and it comes him. rest is on god.
Arjun and Rano were just more shattered by hearing the words. Everything was lost. They had paid a huge price for their mistake and now they were losing Mohinder.
Rano: yeh sab meri galati hain. kash main apni beti par yakeen kar pati. Kash main uski aankhon main sachayi dekh pati. Apne hi haathi se maine apna ghar barbaad kiya.
( its all coz of me. If I ever had trusted my child than this would not have happened.)
Arjun hugged her and said: nahi maa, yeh sab meri wajah se hua hain. na main annie se pyar kartha aur na yeh hota. Na hum kabhi Khurannas se rishta rakthe nay eh sab hota.

Dadiam (ST) : pata nahi jo main kar rahi hoon theek hain ya nahi. par main janthi hoon ki geet apne parivaar se bahut pyar karthi hain aur jab woh puri tarah theek hogi tab main ushe kya jawab dungi agar mohinder ko kuch hua tho. Ek baar sirf ek baar main inhe geet ko dekhne deti hoon aur phir geet ko wapas le jaungi. Main Maan ko geet ke paas ane bhi nahi dungi. Ushe bhi pata chale ki uski geet ek zinda lash ban juki hain aur yeh sab sirf unke wajah se hua hain.
Geet and Vicky arrived at the hospital with Adi.Dadima who was waiting for them just hugged geet but there was no difference in geet. As doctor had given permission to meet Mohinder, Yash, Arjun, Rano and Naina were inside his room unaware wat was going to happen. Unaware tat the very person whom they thought was dead is here for their rescue. Vicky once again argued with dadima for her decision but Dadima assured tat this time Mohinder needed Geet the most. She could not let a father die thinking tat his daughter is dead. Adi was made him understand tat when geet will ask about them wat will they answer. Vicky agreed and possessively holds geet by her shoulder and all of them went inside the room. Inside all were busy talking to Mohinder but he was all the way silent. As soon as dadima and adi entered inside he felt tat his life would change and yes the very next moment he saw his daughter coming inside with geet and the only word which came out from his mouth was..
Mohinder: geettt…
Mohinder: geett.. aap zinda hain..
Mohinder had tears in his eyes by seeing his daughter in front of him. he felt as if his life had returned and he just sat down and hugged geet tight all the while assuring himself tat he was not dreaming. He kissed her on her whole face and hugged again.
Mohinder: Rano dekha humari princess zinda hain. humari beti zinda hain Rano. Arjun humari geet zinda hain. aapki behan zinda hain Arjun.
( rano see our princess is alive..see our daughter is alive rano. Arjun see geet is alive)
Rano and Arjun came forward and hugged geet tightly making sure tat it was all real. They could not believe tat geet was sitting in front of them.
Rano: Haan ji humari geet zinda hain. dekho yeh humari beti, humari geet wapas aayi hain.
( yes our geet is alive. See our daughter is alive.she came back)

And he hugged her once again. Yash and Naina had tears in their eyes but did not dare come near them. They could not come thinking tat they did not have any right on her. they just stood there looking at her with tears in their eyes and a smile on their lips. They silently prayed to god to keep geet safe.
Mohinder: geet beta aap kaha thi. Hum maanthe hain ki humne bahut badi galati ki par aap ne hume.. beta hum tho aapke maafi ke layak bhi nahi phir bhi hum aapse maafi maagthe hain.
Mohinder looked at geet and felt something like she was not at all listening to him. he always failed to read her eyes and today also he failed. He could not see the blankness in her eyes. She just sat there just staring at him as if she was seeing him for the first time. Mohinder slowly touched her face and said.
( beta plz say something. Don't give us more pain bys atying like this. plz punish us. Maaji why is she not saying anything. Why is she behaving as if she is looking at us for the first time)
As soon as the name " Maan" reached Geet's ears she just stood up and slowly turned and Maan was shocked, surprised to see geet standing in front of him. he could not believe his own eyes and heard Rano mumering something but he was just rooted on the spot. He just stared at her and geet unknowing came forward. Dadima and Vicky were shocked to see tat Geet had responded for the very first time in after she had come out from her long sleep. They could not understand anything as one side they were happy tat responded but were shocked tat Maan had done tat.
Maan: mishti…
Vicky: don't Mr. khuranna. Don't even dare touch her.

Vicky: janthe hain hum ki yeh geet hain par yeh aapki geet nahi hain sirf humari behan hain. tho aap inse dur rahe.
( I know tat she is geet but she is not urs she is only my sister so stay away from her)
Vicky called out for doctor and Geet was immediately hospitalized. The doctors rushed for geet and started checking her. outside all were having many questions as to wat was happening. Geet was all alive but why was she behaving strange. Why did not she respond to them. Wat was all this. Vicky was arguing with dadima.
Vickky: humne kaha tha ki bhabi ko yaha lana theek nahi hain. dekha aapne kya hua. Ishika darr tha hume. Agar bhabi ko kuch bhi hua tho sach keh rahe hain hum dadima hum bro ko nahi chodeyege.

Dadima: kuch nahi hoga Vicky . geet ko kuch nahi hoga. Aapne dekha geet ne pehli baar koi movement ki hain aur woh bhi Maan ka naam sunkar. Hum nahi jaanthe ki yeh sab kya hain par shayad Bhagwan bhi yahi chah the hain.
( nothing will happen. Did not u see tat for the first time geet did some reaction and tat when she heard maan's name.i don't know wats all this but)
Dadima: hum janthe hain ki aap sab ke dhimang mein ek hi sawaal hain aur aaj hum aapke hare k sawaal ke jawab denge. Haan yeh sach hain ki hume aap sab se jhoot bhola. Jhoot bhola ki geet mar juki hain aur agar dekha jaye tho geet zinda hi kaha hain. Mohinder aap pooch rahe the na ki geet aapse kuch keh kyu nahi rahi hain tho sunlijiye. Geet zinda tho hain par ek zinda lash hain woh. Aapko yaad hoga ki hum Adi ke saath Shimla gaye the waha hume pata chala ki geet bahut serious hain aur ushne apna bacha ko juka hain. uska infection itna badh juka tha ki uskke bachane ke chances bahut kam the. Miscarriage hone baad bhi ushe hosh nahi aaya tah aur hum unhe Delhi leke aaye. Delhi aane ke baad bhi unhe hosh nahi aaya uar doctors jawab de juke the. Hume apne aap pe gussa aaya ki itne bade hoke bhi hum apni geet ko bacha nahi sakthe. Tab hume decide kiya ki jiski wajah se geet ki yeh haal hua hain hum unhe kabhi pata chalne nahi denge ki geet zinda hain isliye hume aap sab se sachayi chupayi. Geet pure 8 mahine tak behosh thi. Hospital mein zinda lash ban juki thi. Par jab hum US gaye waha ke facilities aur adavnace treatment se who hosh mein aayi par phir bhi hos mein nahi thi. Aisa lag raha tha ki woh hume pechanthi hi nahi. aise dekthi rehthi ki jaise hume pehli baar dekh rahi hain. hum tho soch rahe the ki woh hume bhool juke hain par nahi. doctor ne kaha ki uska dil aur dhimang uske khabu mein nahi hain. ek aise andhere mein hain jaha ushe koi wapas nahi laa saktha. Depression ki wajah se woh aisi bani hain aur ish sab ke zimmedaar aap hain.
Rano: phir bhi maaji aap ne sach chupa kar acha nahi kiya. Humara haq tha ki yeh jaane keliye.
( but still why did u hide this from us. We had the right to know)
( rights, than where were ur rights of motherhood rano. But wat u all did. But don't think tat I brought geet here for u all its just because of mohinder. And yes after geet opens her eyes I will be taking her back to US as I don't wont her to remember anything)
It was almost three hours now tat geet was unconscious. Dadima sat next to her slowly caressing her face. She was is thoughts tat how could geet react to Maan. how could she respond just hearing his name. did she fail to understand tat wat geet needed. Geet slowly opened her eyes and dadima called doctor. Doctor did check her up and said tat she was fine. Geet once again was silent.
Dadima: geet bte aap ab kaisi hai.
( geet, how are you now)
Geet did not say anything. She just kept looking at the door.
Dadima: geet aap darwaze ki taraf kyu dekh rahi hain. kisika intezaar kar rahi hain kya.
( geet why are u looking at the door. Are u waiting for someone)
Geet just kept staring at the door when she saw Vicky coming inside but still she kept looking at the door.
Vicky: dadima chalene ki tyari ho juki hain. hum ab nikal sakthe hain. I don't want to stay here any longer.
( dadima everything is ready we can leave now. I don't want to stay here any longer.)
Dadima: chale geet hume wapas US jana hain.
( geet lets go we heve to go back to US)
Geet: Dadi hume Maan se milna hain.

Dadima and vicky were happy to listen geet's voice after one year. Dadima hugged geet while saying tat she was very happy.
Geet: Dadi hume Maan se milna hain.

The moment they registered wat geet said dadima was hell angry and shouted at her.
Dadima: no geet you wont meet him. I don't want his name to hear from u again.
Geet: Dadi hume Maan se milna hain.

Maan who was restless outside could not wait any more and barged inside the room followed by others. Once geet met his eyes she just kept staring at him. she slowly gor up from her bed and moved closer to him while her eyes still on her. Maan could not move and searched her eyes for some emotions but they were total blank. He could not see any pain, love or anger but total blank. Geet moved more closer to him and just slapped him on his face. The sound of the slap was so loud tat no one dared to say a word against. Geet holds his collar and says.
Geet: ab tho aap bahut khush hoge na. ab aapka pura badal pura ho juka hain. kya kaha tha aapne ki yeh aapka bacha nahi hain, nahi hain apka ansh aur dekhiye woh tho janam lene se pehli hi duniya chod ke chala gaya. Khatil hain aap mere bache ke. Maar dala aapke ish gusse ne ushe. Kyu Maan aapne aisa kyu kaha. Kyu hume aapse pyar karne ki itni badi sazza di. Agar sazza dena hi that ho hume maar kyu nahi dala Maan . kyu humare bache ko maar dala aapne.
( now u rae very happy na. now ur revenge is complete. Wat did u say tat its not ur child and see he died before he even took birth. You are his murderer. You killed him. why did u do this maan. why did u give me such big punishment for loving you maan. why did not u kill me maan, why did u kill my baby maan)

Before she could say anything else she fainted and before she could hit the ground Maan hold her and lays her on the bed. Doctor once again came and checked her and found tat her blood pressure was high. He gave her a seductive so tat she could rest.
Next day geet woke up with and she did not speak to anyone. she once again went into a deep depression where she did not have anything to live for . she felt tat she was all alone but there were no tears in her eyes. Now everybody started to panick as since her out burst she did not even talk to anyone nor she met anyone. she was alone and kept going into a dark. The doctors to started to get worried after knowing her medical history. They knew tat if this continous than it may cause severe damage to her health and even can cause her death. The doctors met the khurannaand handa's to discuss about the case.
Doctor: so Mr. Maan, as per ur wife's medical history she has been unconscious for about a year and after tat also she did not respond to anyone. but it was you who made her to come out of her state and tat was a good sign but as per now she once again has gone into depression. Her miscarriage has affected her heart and mind and now she feels tat she does not want to be alive.

Doctor: I can understand it. But right now the may concern is tat its very necessary tat she comes out of thei. She has to cry Mr. Khuranna. Its necessary tat she cries out her tears so tat she can come down. Its necessary tat she gets out of her pain.
Vicky: don't worry doctor. It will all happen. M taking her back to US and we will get her the best medical facilities and doctors there.
Doctor: you don't understand it. I said tat its important tat she cries and as u see tat she once again did not respond to anyone. ans earlier it was only Maan tat she did respond
Vicky: wat do u mean by it doctor.
Doctor: I mean tat its only Maan who can get her out of this depression. Its only him tat she can break her shell. Keeping her away will make the situation worse and not even the doctors will be able to do anything to save her. its very necessary tat she is reminded of her baby so tat she can break down. It is very tough to do this and she may even think of doing worse in this condition and you have to keep a constant eye on her. I cant say tat how much time it will take but its better tat she comes out of her depression soon. And Mr. Maan ur love will help her to come out of this. she just needs ur love and care and m sure tat u love her very much.
They all leave the doctors cabin when Vicky says.
