Part 2

Geet was 18 and Maan 24 now and it was Geet's 18^th birthday. All were very excited about it and had decided to give a throw a party for her. their excitement grew more when Maan himself came forward with the idea. Maan had finished his studies and would be joining Khuranna Constructions. Geet had already started her college before Maan joined the business. He himself had gone with her for all the formalities as he wanted only the best for her. he had decided tat after celebrating Geet's birthday he would joing an take up the MD's position once his geet would be officially 18 so tat he could declare her as his. the arrangements were going on full mood with strict orders from Maan tat geet should not be aware about the party. He himself had selected everything for her along with a beautiful ruby ring as he would officially propose her today. Finally her day arrived.

It was midnight and geet eagerly waited for everyone to wish her. like always she wished tat Maan would be the first person but was sad as none came to wish her. she waited and waited tat atleast someone or the other would come but no one came

" dekha babaji, aise tho sab kehte hain ki hum inki princess hain par dekha apne yeh sab tho mera birthday hi bhool gaye. Kabse intezaar kar rahi hoon ki koi aake mujhe wish karde par shayad sab so gaye hain. Par babaji sab bhool sakthe hain par woh, samjha karo na babaji woh Maan, Hitler kaise bhool saktha hain. unhe tho mere baaremein sab pata hota hain. yaha tak mere kehne se pehle hi sab pata chaltha hain unhe par aaj kya hua. Kahi mujhe bhool tho nahi gaye. Kahi koi aur ladki tho nahi mili unhe.. chi chi Geet kya soch rahi hain. agar Hitler ko pata chala kit um aisa soch rahi ho tho tumhe kha jeyega. Janthi ho na ki uski zindagi mein tere siva aiur koi ladki nahi. Haan babaji aap gussa mat kijiye janthi hoon ki Hitler aapka favourite hain aur main aapki list mein last aati hoon. Par babaji kya karu jab bhi kuch kehne jathi hoon aapne bade bade aakhein dekhkar darra the hain. aise karega tho dil ki baat kaise kahungi main. Unhe mujhe pareshan karne ke liye mazza aata hain. chado geet so jaa babaji si complain karke kuch fayda nahi hain. dodno ki mili bhagat hain mujhe pareshan karne ki."

With this small complain geet went to sleep hoping tat morning they would wish her. she got up with a big smile on her face and wished herself and got ready for breakfast. But to her luck no one even mentioned about her birthday. She quietly had her breakfast and went for college. She waited for Maan to pick her up as since the school incident it was his duty to pick her and Annie and Vicky followed them. But today geet was all the way surprised as Vciky and Annie's car came near her and stopped whereas the security car was behind.

Vicky: hey prnicess. Aise kyu dekh rahi hoon. Chalo college nahi jaana hai kya.

Geet: nahi.. I mean jaana hai par tum dono..

Annie: oye geet hum janthe hain kit um na bhai ki princess ho aur Bhai ko miss kar rahi ho par aaj bhai busy hain so nahi aayege apni princess ko college le jaane. Tho ab yeh apna muh bandh kar aur chal humare saath aur agra class ke liye der hui tho tera aashiq hume kacha chaba jayega.

Geet: acha hua woh Hitler nahi aaya aaj. Jab dekhu yeh mat karo, woh mat karo. Aisa lagtha hai ki main koi machine hoon jo jab chahe chavi ghooma de. Ek din mauka mile tho main apna badla lungi ish Hitler se.

Vicky: pehle apni dil ki baat bata de bro ko. Aur phir badle ke baaremein soch lena.

Annie: badi aayi badla lene, ek shabd nahi bol sakthi bhai ke samne aur badla legi. Chalo Vicky ish geet aur bhai ke chakkar mein hum kyu fasye.

Geet: haan tum kaun hote hain meri madad karne ke liye. Aur tum se kisne kaha ki main tumare bhai se darr thi hoon. Yeh tho main unhe respect deti hoon aakhir bade hain mujhse.

Vicky: haan haan geet handa kisis e nahi darr thi aur bro se tho bilkul nahi.

They reached the college while enjoying and in this geet forgot tat no one wished her today. They attended their respective colleges and the day went as it started. Geet was baffled yet again as Maan did not come to take her. She was restless now tat she did not see Maan the whole day. She went home with frustration as once again she remembered tat no one wished her. By the time she reached home she found the whole Handa Haveli empty and the servant informed her tat they had gone out. As soon as she reached her room she found a gift packet on her bed. She opened he gift which had a lovely white suit. She found a note along with it.

" main jantha hoon ki tum naraz ho. Par ish samay apni narazgi apne pass rako aur jaldi se tayar hoke Khuranna Mansion mein aajao."

Geet pouted cutely and complained again: dekha babaji kaise insane hain. gift bhi diya par akad dekhi aapne. Haan janthi hoon main ki aapko acha nahi lagtha jab main unki complain karthi hoon tho. Par aap khud hi deklo, maine socha tha ki aaj main unse apni dil ki baat keh dungi par yeh janab ne mujhe KM mein bhulaya hain. chalo geet puttar tayar ho ja varne hitler baras padega."

Geet got ready with the dress which was perfect for her after all it was her Maan's choice. She did her minimal makeup as she knew tat Maan never liked her with it. She slowly and with heavy steps reached the KM and found tat the whole mansion was in dark. She called out to Vicky, annie and others but no one answered. As soon as she entered the main area the spot light was focused on her making her to shiver. She heard a voice saying and instantly realized it was Vicky.

Vicky: hey princess darr ne ki koi baat nahi. Haan haan hum janthe hai kit um bahut naraz ho par kya kare tera gussa jhel sakthe hain par bro ka nahi. After all yeh bro ka idea tha. Vaise bhi aaj tum 18 ki hogayi ho so thodi masti chal sakthi hain. phir pata bahi ki kab tumari leg pulling ker paye. Vaise bhi you look gorgeous princess. Kisi ne bilkul theek hi kaha hain kit um asmaan se aayi ek pari ho. Anyways princess happy birthday.

Geet: Vicky tum kaha ho. Aur yeh sab kya hain. please Vicky tum janthe ho na ki mujhe andhere se darr lagtha hain. please Vicky yeh mazak bandh karo aur samne aajao.

Geet was pleading him to come when she dashed into someone. She was about to fall when two strong hands caught her ta the nick of time. She knew who is was and holds him tight. A mere whimper escaped form her mouth "Maan"

Maan: happy birthday sweetheart.

Before Maan could say anything else the lights were on and everybody cane shouting saying Happy Birthday. Geet instantly pushed him away which made Maan bit angry but he knew tat they had to tat as no one knew about them except the family. Geet was shocked to see the guest for the party. She could not believe tat they would be celebrating her birthday like this. she showed her fake anger.

Annie: chalo ab yeh apna jhoota gussa chod do. Janthe hain hum kit um humse jyada der naraz nahi reh sakthi. Vaise bhi hume bhai ne strict orders diye the ki tumhe koi wish na kare so we did not.

Geet: yani ki yeh party Maan ne di hai. Aur tum sab janthe the.

Vicky: haan party bro ne di hai. Afterall bro ko aaj official license jo mila tumhe date karne ka.

Geet: date main kisi date wate par nahi jaungi. Aur tumare bro hote kaun hain jo mujkhe date pe le jaane ke liye.

Annie: oye natak company bandh kar yeh nautanki apni. Hum sab janthe hain ki tum aur bro akele akele mein kya karthe ho. Tho ab yeh sab jhod do aur cake cut kar.

The khuranna's and handa's all wished her and they cut the cake. She fed them the cake one by one but could not feed Maan. she knew tat he will be angry but she remembered tat they could not show their affection openly. All the guests wished her while Maan only observed her from far away. He was getting angry as many other boys who were present at the party were openly wishing her and staring at her. He slowly went towards her and pulled her for a dance on the dance floor. He could not bear any one else touching or staring at her. Even was now more possessive about her as she had just turned 18 and he could not bear tat. Geet could see his eyes full of anger but she did not understand why was he so angry. One moment he was happy and the other moment his eyes filled with angry. He started dancing furiously with her making her to shed silent tears. He saw her tears and kissed her eyes.

Maan: maine kaha tha ki tume koi aur chuye yeh main nahi dekh saktha. Tum sirf meri ho samjhi tum. You belong only to me.

Geet: main ne'.. I mean I did not touch..

Maan: sshhh.. I know tat you will not touch anyone but how dare they touch you. You belong to Maan Singh Khuranna ko belong karthi ho.

Geet was all quite as she knew tat if she says anything else he will be more angry. Maan slowly left her seeing tat many eyes were on them. She mingled with everyone but her eyes were searching only for Maan.s he knew tat he was angry but wat could she do. She always avoided such instances as it would only raise his anger. She was searching for Maan when she felt a hand pulling her out of the wall. she was shocked first but later smelled her Maan. she quietly followed him and when they were out he dragged her towards the car.

Maan: itni bekarari ki itne log hote hue bhi tumari aakhein mujhe dhoodh rahi thi. Haan geet. Har samay tho mujhse dur bhaagne ki koshish karthi ho par aaj yeh aakhein muhje kyu dhoodh rahi thi. Kuch kehna chah thi ho.

Geet: nahi

Maan stared at her.

Geet: I mean.. appko thanks kehna tha ish surprise ke liye.

Maan: sirf yahi kehna tha ki aur kuch baki hain.

Geet: nahi aur kuch nahi. Andar chale sab intezaar karthe hoge.

Maan just pulled her and made her to sit inside his car.

Geet: yeh aap kya kar rahe ho. Andar party chal rahi hai aur aap hume kaha leke jaa rahe ho. Raat bahut ho juki hain please hume jaane dijiye.aap janthe hain na ki hume raat ko aapke saath bahar jane ke liye permission nahi hai.

Maan: sssh.. kuch nahi kahogi aur haan main jantha hoon ki raat bahut ho juki hain aur jaha tak bahra jaane ki baat hain tho main tumhe yaad dilatha hoon ki tum ab 18 ki ho juki ho. And as far as the promise is concerned now nobody can stop me from taking you out at night. Tho ab apna yeh muh bandh karo aur chup chap baitho varna..

Geet knew tat when he said varna means wat, so she just kept quite thinking to herself. When she remembered tat he had warned her tat is she did not confess her love on her 18 birthday than he wont stop himself anym ore.

Geet: geet puttar yaad haina ki hitler ne tuhe jo waqt diya tha woh aaj khatam ho juka hain. aaj agar tu unhe apni dil ki baat nahi kahegi tho woh kuch bhi kar sakthe hain. aur tub hi na jabse pyar ka matlab samjhi hain sirf unhse hi tho pyar kiya hain tho phir darr kyu rahi hain. Bata de apni dil kmi baat unhe aaj. Naam de apne rishthe ko. Kab tak unhe intezaar karvathi rahegi.
