Well...Maan is fighting...both then and now...He confessed because he didn't want her to relegate their relationship to friendship.

And why doesn't Geet punish Rehan? Well firstly Rehan is already punished; he isn't with Geet. What more does he need? And the fact is that Rehan made a mistake because of a lie that his own father said. So it is easier to forgive Rehan, which took a long time for Geet to accept. But Maan on the other hand PLANNED this out, knowing the outcome.

She knows that she won't be happy at the end...she mentions that...but then she isn't happy now. How can she be when the very foundation is based on lies?

She wants him to be accountable for what he has done, even at the cost of her pain.
She isn't blind to his love...But Geet doesn't believe that it justifies his actions...she has rigid beliefs and he crossed that line.
