MAAN's ROOM

Maan knew that he was going to have a hard time manayofying his little wify now… But he still couldn't help himself from teasing her… she looked too cute and adorable with that red angry nose that flared up when she was riled up…

He stealthily entered the room and saw that there was no trace of his little wify… He still remembered the previous such encounter which happened when Geet got angry… Just the thought of it made him shudder… he still remembered the broom and looked around to see if there was any in the sight… He realized that Geet was in the balcony and heaved a sigh of relief to see that even the water jug beside the table was empty… He shivered when he was reminded of the whole glass of water that was poured on his head…

BALCONY

Geet was not at all angry with Maan… She was just playing along so that she could see a glimpse of the old Meera… The smile of contentment on Maan's face was an added bonus…

She was enjoying the cool evening wind when two hands crept their way on the little bulge on her tummy… She leaned back and relaxed herself, as she instinctively knew who was the owner of those hands…

"Hmmm mujhe toh laga ki koi mujhse naraz hai…"

Maan asked, he was pleasantly surprised when he felt Geet relax against him…

"Nahi toh… Main aapse kabi naraaz ho hi nahi sakti…"

Both of them didn't speak anything for a while after that… they were enjoying the warmth of each other amidst the cool wind… After a really long time, they were so happy and at peace, so they were cherishing the feeling, contented in being in each other's arms…

Their peace was disturbed when Maan felt a strong kick against his hand…

"Ouch… Hmm lagta hai ki Baby bhi bahut enjoy kar raha hai apne mama papa ki company…"

Geet spoke gently patting her belly over Maan's hands... Maan was still under the spell of feeling the baby… He felt bad that he couldn't spend the much-needed time with Geet and the baby due to all these issues circling their lives…

"Maan… Aap kya soch rahe hain???"

"Wo Geet, Mere khyal sey tum…"

"Main???"

"…tum Kaafi moti ho gayi ho…"

Maan smirked… He loved teasing her…

Geet made a typical Golpappa face as her mouth opened in a perfect 'O'… her nose became completely red due to anger…

"Gosh!!! She is looking so cute… I just want to eat her up alive…" Maan thought as he saw her fuming…

The very next second, she jumped away from his embrace and gave him a look which clearly meant that he was in deep trouble…

The history repeated itself once again as Geet started hurling things at Maan to vent out her anger… The only difference was this time Maan was well prepared…

Ducking the things hurled his way, everything ranging from a hairbrush to a deodorant, he stealthily made his way up to Geet...

He was just in time to take away the lamp that was about to come next… He locked her struggling form in a strong embrace and whispered quietly in her ear…

"Kya tum kisi Rohan key baare mein jaanti ho???"

Geet froze at her place…

"Hey Babaji… yeh inhe sab kaise pata chal jaata hai???" She made a baby face looking at the ceiling…

"Abb tumhare Babji bhi tumhe nahi bacha sakte Geet… Abb sharif bachchi ki tarah jawaab do…"

"Aapko kaise pata chala…"

"Yeh mere sawaal ka jawaab nahi hai…"

"Aap pehle mere sawaal ka jawaab dijiye toh hi main aapke sawaal ka jawaab doongi…" Geet said adamantly while creeping out from the cage formed with his hands, as he had loosened his hold a bit…

Maan groaned inwardly… He knew that once his Geet thinks of something then nothing can be done… who knew it better than him… After all he knew everything about her adamancy since her childhood… Getting married to him was also one of it… Though he was really thankful to her for it…

"Wo maine kuchh detectives ko hire kiya tha to…"

"KYAAA…. AAPNE MERE PICHHE JAASOOS CHHODE HUE HAIN????"

Maan closed his ears with both his hands when Geet shouted… He gulped as he knew that his little wify will not digest this information easily… But what could he do when she was so hell bent on hiding everything from him???? He needed to know about certain things… It was not that he didn't trust her but he wanted to find out about her accident and all… He didn't believe a word of the information he had got knowing that there must be something hidden behind it, but he wanted Geet to clear it herself…

"Tumne mujhse puchha aur maine bata diya… Abb tum sidhe sidhe batao ki yeh Rohan ka kya chakkar hai…" Maan tried to avert her mind… He needed her to open up to him once again…

"Kyun aisa kya bataya aapke uss JAASOOS ne ki aapka khoon itna khaul raha hai???"

She asked sarcastically knowing well that he didn't even know half of the story or else, he would have not reacted like this…

"Geet, don't test my patience…" Maan warned… he had decided to handle this matter coolly but now he was having a hard time controlling his frustration…

Geet could sense that something was fishy… She could feel the frustration in his voice so she sighed and told…

"Rohan is my friend…"

"Friend ya BOYFRIEND???"

"WHATTT…."

Maan realized what he blurted out and closed his eyes… He knew he would have hurt her as his voice sounded more accusatory rather than a statement…

"Haan sahi kaha aapne… he is my Boyfriend…"

Now it was Maan's turn to be shocked… He looked at Geet immediately not believing his ears…

"Yup… Wo mera sabse pyara chhota sa cuty sa NAU SAAL KA BOYFRIEND hai…"

Geet shouted and left the place huffing and puffing….

While Maan was frozen at his place still trying to process the information… He felt bad that he hurt his Jaan… He made a mental note to kill the detective with his bare hands the next time he met him…
