Maan was totally taken aback. Many questions were swarming in his mind… How can their Pari die???? If she did then… Meera??? Still he kept quite, trying to be patient, and waited for his dad to continue, knowing it must be very difficult for him to remember those difficult times…

"Haan beta… Pehle toh mujhe bhi kaafi hairani hui thhi… Tumhari Maa aur Vickrant ko sambhalna hi mere liye bahut mushkil ho gaya thha kyunki mein khud bhi kahi na kahi tut gaya thha… Phir bhi maine unki baat maani… Aur phir jo khulaasa hua uske baad toh hum dangg reh gaye.."
"Aisa kya hua???"
"Maan, Pari ki death nahi hui thhi… Mujhe thoda doubt toh tabb hi ho gaya thha jab hospital staff ney Pari ki body humein cremation ke liye deney sey inkar karr diya thha… Parr uss waqt hum mein sey kisi ki aisi haalat nahi thhi ki hum iss baat par bahut gaur karein… Humne unki iss baat par vishwaas karr liya ki yeh unke hospital policy kay against hai…"
"What Rubbish… Aisi koi Policy nahi ho sakti jo kisi Maa-Baap ko aakhri baar apney bachchey ko bhi naa dekhney dey…"

Maan was so stunned that he didn't have it in himself to listen anything further. He just stood their expressionless while his Dad revealed the rest of the story…
Pari was pretty calm and completely at ease. She had been conscious for the longest time since her accident otherwise she had to be continuously administered to sedatives to make sure she doesn't do anything untoward with herself…
Geet had managed to sneak out of the room as soon as Maan vanished from her near vicinity. After all she couldn't hold herself knowing her best friend, Meera is just a few rooms away from her.
"Geet.. Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho???"
Geet stopped dead on her tracks as she heard Vicky's strict voice…
"Wo.. wo… M.. Main…"
"GEEET…"
Pari squealed in delight when she saw Geet at the door of her room. She wanted to jump off from the bed and run to her but was held by the nurse. Nevertheless Geet fulfilled the quota as she rushed and jumped on Pari literally felling off the bed while taking Pari in a bone-crushing hug…
"SAMBHAL KAR DOLL…"
Vicky shook his head, as he knew that now none of them would acknowledge anyone else's presence. He signaled the doctor as well as the nurses to give them the privacy. He knew that Pari would remain absolutely calm as long as Geet is with her…
"Meera.. Kaisi hai tu???"
"Tujhse mil li abb ek dam first class hoon… God… Maine tujhe itna miss kiya…"
"Maine bhi… Tujhe pata hai kya hua… Mere India aane ke baad Maan aur main…"
She filled Meera with all the details of the incidents that took place after she returned to India, she dodged all the details related to London, not wanting to remind her of that incident… She told her about Rimi, her marriage to Maan, and not to forget the baby.
"KYAAA…. Matlab mein MAASI ban ne waali hoon…"
She gave Geet a giant hug, super happy for her best friend…
"Nahi Pari, tum Maasi nahi BUA ban ne waali ho…"
Both Geet and Pari looked up to see Maan standing, leaning on the frame of the door with his hands crossed over his chest…
Geet got scared, as she knew Pari was not very comfortable in the presence of any guy… She wasn't even okay having Vicky or dad in the same room with her. But she was left pleasantly surprised when Pari squealed in delight…
"Maan bhaiya…"
To say Maan was shocked or stunned would be an understatement. He was so overwhelmed to hear his baby sister addressing him as his bhaiya that all his insecurities flew out of the window…
"Pari…"
He went forward and softly hugged her lest she gets scared by the proximity but to his surprise, Pari hugged him back tightly…
"Ohhh… Bhaiya mujhe toh school time parr lagta tha ki aap bahut khadoos ho aur Geet ke liye sahi nahi ho parr mujhe kya patha tha ki yeh Deewani aapko apne Deewanepan mein itna Deewana ban degi…"
She said mischievously while Maan was once again left speechless… He had never thought that Pari would be so normal. He now knew why Vicky had said that Pari really needs Geet's presence; it was really doing wonders to Pari's health already… He looked at Geet lovingly; she really came like an angel into his and his family's life…
"Offfo abb aap Geet ko aisa kya dekh rahein hai??? Itne dinon baad apni behen sey miley hain, zaraa ek nazr humein bhi dekh lijiye…"
Both Maan and Geet turned all pink at Pari's remark. Geet whacked Pari softly on her shoulder…
"Meera ki bachchi… tu na bahut badmash aur besharam ho gayi hai… Lagta hai tera kuchh karna padega.."
"Geet… Meri behen ko kuchh mat kaho…"
Meera grinned and showed Geet thumbs down while Geet made a 'Golgappa face'. She glared at Maan while he gulped…
"Theek hai jab aap Behen-Bhai ne ekk team bana hi li hai toh meri yahan kya zaroorat hai…"
She stomped her feet and went away from there…
"Ummm woh uske Mood Swings…"
He replied sheepishly to Pari while she laughed…
"Jaaiye bhaiya aur apni Mrs. Ko manaiye… Nahi toh woh deewani pata nahi aapke saath kya karegi…"
Maan made a baby face and got up to go after Geet and pacify his Jaan but before that he placed a soft kiss on Pari's head…
"Mujhe meri pyari si chhoti behen sey mil kar bahut khushi hui…"
Pari gave a soft smile as Maan left…
Four people who witnessed the exchange between Maan, Geet and Pari wiped the tears of joy to see their family regaining the lost happiness once again…

Pari's reaction was surprise for me too. Geet is indeed an angel, his angel. The past was really sad. Glad to see that Geet told everything to her. But me confuse, pari ke kidnap ki story kya hai? Gosh, her mood swings. Ab kya karoge Maan babu? Overall, amazing.
