"Geet" sameera looked at her with teary eyes as she held her red right cheek with her hand.
Geet: Shut up. Just shut up Sameera.
Tum or tumhari bhai ek jaasi ho!! Dil thorne ki shaak hai! So then why are you here? Go tell your brother the good news of how we both are happy. Mission failed!
"That's why we are here to apologize Geet" she heard a voice behind her say.
Geet's breath got stuck in her throat. She prayed from within that once she turns around it is not the person whom she thinks it is.
She turns around and gets another shock of her life. She steps back holding on to Maan's arm as if she had gotten the breath knocked out of her.
The look on Geet's face gave it all away. In a blink of an eye Dev was on the floor coughing up blood and holding what looked like his fractured jaw.
Maan: Guards!! Guards!!
Dev: Maan please! Beat me all you want. But I am not going anymore before I apologize to Geet and she forgives me!
Sameera: Same with me! I am not going anymore until you forgive me Maan. Then I will disappear from your life forever!
Geet looks over to Romeo with eyes full of questions. Was this his unfinished business? To drown her in her past? Kyun? Why did all her friends and close ones always back stab her!
But no!!!! Not a tear would spill from her eyes for them! She wasn't the same Geet anymore. . . and it was time for them to meet the new Geet!
She walks over to Dev with a certain determination and hatred in her eyes.
She laughs " Forgiveness from who? Geet Handa or Mrs. Geet Maan singh Khurana?
" beating and forgiving you is too easy of a punishment for you" she says with her eyes shooting daggers.
Geet: Geet Handa died that night. You are looking at Mrs. Geet Maan singh Khurana and she doesn't contain a soft and weak heart. You shattered that heart and in its place is a newer and revived heart that was given to me by MAAN.
Dev: You are still the Geet Handa I knew and you can't hate me forever! I was your first love Geet! It wasn't totally my fault. Let me explain.
Geet: Guards!!! GUARDS!!!
Guards: Yes madam.
Throw him out now.
Dev: I am not going anywhere Geet. Atleast listen to me first. Please.
Geet gives the guards a signal and turns around.
Guard: Chalo!! Get out !
" NO" Dev says taking the guards hand off him.
Dev: GEET LISTEN TO ME!!! I AM SORRY!
The guards then ambush him and attack him. He wasn't going to leave the easy way, then he will just have to leave the hard way.
" aaah Geet!" Dev screamed as the guards beat him
Please . . . .
I was stupid . ..
Aaahhh!!! I trusted sameera over you.
She. . .she ahhh!
Guard: Shut up and get out!!!
Geet closed her eyes holding back the tears.
Dev: She said you were getting married and leaving me. She heard your parents arranging the wedding date. I thought you knew and was deceiving me. I didn't know you didn't know what your parents were planning.
"LET ME GOOO!!!", he pushes off the guards and falls against Geet's feet. With his bloody and bruised up body.
Dev: I am sorry . . .Geet. I am sorry.
" Just. . .just forgive me . . .that's all I ask. . . please" he says with a tear escaping from his eye.
" You didn't see my tears. . . you didn't hear my screams . . . you didn't hear the way you tore my heart.. You didn't trust me!
I can't forgive youI! You are dead to me!
GUARDS!!!! I DON'T WANT TO SEE HIM ANOTHER SECOND!!!
Dev continued to plead as the guards carried him out, but Geet didn't flinch once. He had taken her out of his life in a similar way.
Maan comes and hugs Geet. Giving her the comfort and reminding her that he was here. He wasn't going to take the pain away.
' Geet. . . .Maan' sameera cried.
Geet looks over to Maan and says, " I don't want this kamini near me Maan. You deal with her".
Maan: You are girl or else I would have thrown you out myself. GET OUT NOW!
Sameera flinches a little seeing maan's rage, but that didn't stop her, " Geet please listen to me. I thought you were deceiving my brother. I came over to your house to meet you and I saw your parents sharing sweets over the fact of your marriage.
Vicky grabs her wrist and his eyes were burning with anger.
"Because of you the small family I had gone torn into two! To how many people will you apologize! Your nothing but a gold digger" Vicky says shoving her to the ground.
Vicky: I have no problem dragging you out like the piece of dirt you are!
"Maan I know I broke your heart. But I had no choice. I had no choice!! Please listen to me. . .please!" Sameera sobbed as she laid on the ground.
Maan: I don't know you sameera. You died for me Sameera that night. I burned you and your memories.
"If I never broke your heart than how would have you and Geet met? It was all meant to be. Just forgive me and Dev", she says getting up and walking towards Maan.
Vicky grabs her wrists and drags her out no matter how much she screamed and protested. He pushes her out the door and she stumbles down the steps right under Dev's feet. He closes the door not giving them a last glance.
Vicky goes over to Meera, " Let me drop you home"
Meera noded. Vicky wanted to give Maan and Geet some time alone and Meera could see that.
Geet runs towards maan's embrace.
Geet: I hate them Maan. I hate them all of them! My family and those twins! All they did was break my heart and push me away.
Maan: they are gone jaan. I am here and I will always be with you.
Geet: I know.
" You both should forgive them", says Romeo.
Geet breaks out of the hug and looks at Romeo with disappointment and utter disbelief, " What . . ".
Romeo: I am not asking you to make them a part of your lives again. I am asking you to forgive them. If you don't forgive them, they will always have a place in your heart if not Love, but hate!
You both want to start a new life together. Well that's why I brought them here, so they can ask forgiveness for their misdeeds and you guys will be able to live happily without the shadows of your past.
Maan: It's not so easy as it sounds Romeo.
Romeo: I know it isn't.
Geet: After he threw me out of his life and broke my heart. I go home and Brij is waiting for me with a talwaar because he told brij that I was pregnant and that he is breaking this relationship with me because he is not the father of my child.
Geet could feel the grip of Maan on her get tighter giving her warmth and assuring her he is here now. Geet looks over to Maan and she could drown in his love. She hadn't finished and yet she could see the trust in Maan's eyes. It was the trust of true love, which set him apart from Dev.
Maan: Geet I don't need to know the rest. I trust you more than I trust myself. Your family shouldn't of had done what they did to you and no one is forcing you to forgive him. If you did I don't think I would for making you go through this.
Romeo: I know I am portrayed as the bad guy right now. But Geet this was the reason I went back. You have no idea how they regret what they did to you. Your family was really happy to hear you are getting married; yet they didn't know how to meet your eyes Geet and ask for forgiveness. Their status and reputation mattered to them more than you at the time, but when they lost you. . . thought you were dead, that's when they realized what you meant to them. Your brother, Brij, was crying Geet. We both know what traditional and unexpressive man he is.
Geet felt something wet against her hands. She looks down and sees it was her own tears. She didn't even notice when they escaped from her eyes.
Geet: Bas! I can't hear anymore Romeo. I escaped from Brij that night, but then I realized I was better off dead. What did I have? I had lost everyone and everything that was important to me. I waited for him . . .for death. But he never came Romeo. He never came and that's when I decided to meet death myself.
" but then I saved you and thats the night you entered my life" maan says entwining his fingers with Geet.
Romeo: Exactly! What Sameera said is true. Everything happened for a reason. The misunderstanding happened for a reason, which lead both of you together. What they did was wrong, but be the better person and forgive. All 4 of you will be able to live without the shadows of your past.
Dev and Sameera at least had the courage to come ask forgiveness from you when they knew they would probably get humiliated.
Maan: Whose side are you on Romeo?
Romeo: I don't know. All I knew was I went back to give everyone a piece of my mind, but instead all I saw was two shattered families. Both the handa's and Roy's.
Both Dev and Sameera take anti-depressant drugs. They aren't living. Their guilt is killing them. I went back to make them feel bad for what they did, but they were already burning. They still love you, but they want your happiness and forgiveness that's all.
Maan you got a second chance from Geet, don't they deserve a second chance? Just forgive them.
"Theek hai", both Geet and Maan say at the same time.
Geet looks over to Maan.
Geet: I will forgive him, not because he was my best friend once. Not because he was my first love. But because I want to put an end to this chapter of my past. If I carry hatred for him, he will still always reside in my heart even if its hate. And I want only my Heart to carry your name Maan. There is no room for Dev.
Maan: I will only forgive Sameera for you Geet, but I don't know why I have a bad feeling about this. I don't know why I feel those tears of her's are fake.
Geet: it's because she broke your heart. But she did tell me about you Maan. I didn't know it was you though. She confessed once that her greatest regret in her life is breaking someone's heart whom she called MK.
Maan: I don't care anymore Geet. You are my life and I will forgive her and close the chapter of my life with her forever and open my new chapter with you.
Geet: call them in.
Romeo: I will go and get them.
Romeo left to get the Roy twins, leaving Geet and Maan completely alone.
Geet just engulfs Maan in a warm hug, placing the side of her face against his chest.
" I love you", Geet softly murmurs snuggling closer to Maan.
"I love you too Geet and always will", Maan murmers back kissing her forehead.
Geet: Are we making the right decision in forgiving them?
Maan lifts Geet's chin bringing the gaze of her eyes towards his and say, " Even if we aren't I won't let pain touch you Geet. You have gone through enough pain to last you a lifetime. From now onwards its only going to be happiness knocking at your door. . . our happiness".
Geet lightly pecks Maan's lower lip seductively murmuring, " Having you near me is all the happiness I need".
Maan strongly holds her wrists and pins them against the wall huskily murmuring around the nape of her neck, " So that means if I come nearer to you than you will even get more happiness. Should of had told me before jaan. . . I will gladly come closer".
"Maan that is not what I meant", Geet giggles and tries to control her burning red cheeks.
" oh yeah, I think that's exactly what you meant" he says hovering over her lips making her yearn and crave for his touch, which Maan could sense as she stops struggling against his hold.
" Admit that you want my lips right now and there are all yours sweetheart" he says with a sexy smirk.
Geet fakes her anger and tries to push him away saying, " You zaalim singh khurana ughh".
But Maan just brought her closer and both were getting lost in the moment, their lips just millimeters away, when Romeo barges in.
"ooh I'm . . .I'm sorry" Romeo says turning around.
Geet pushes maan away quickly as her face flushes with embarrassment.
Maan acts as if nothing happened and softly murmurs, " Later tonight future Mrs. Khurana" making Geet cheeks even redder.
" You can turn around Romeo", he says chuckling a little.
Romeo: uhh . . well I came to say that they left.
Geet: they left? Matlab ?
Romeo: the guards said they left hastily as soon as we kicked them out. And now they aren't answering any of my calls.
Maan: Try contacting them in the morning and let them know to come meet us.
Romeo nodes and everyone goes to their respective homes.

He tries dialing again, but her phone was switched off.
