Being egoistic person, its very natural about Maan that he wants to make his own identity away from Yash...
Its not necessary that if geet is thinking that he wil work with her thats why he has to...
The way Maan never spoke about their relation, in same way Geet also never expressed herself. And moreover she is still insecure about Prachi.(I knw what Maan sopke is too harsh but still we cant ignore Geet's insecurities)

so its very realistic twist.. It can happen with anyone's life...
