It's been three months when I left Hoshiyar Pur but the pain of losing Geet was still there. I have become so ruthless and so arrogant in these three months. Sometimes I feel that I am losing my mind, as if getting mad.
May be it's because I have got what I desire since my childhood and have got the thing on which I have kept my eyes on, but Geet, Geet was the only thing that I didn't get in my life. For the first time in my life I feel defeated and lost. I never thought that losing her will be this much painful.
I was in my thoughts when adi my sectary informed me that dadi was there to see me. I told him to send her in and that no one should come in until dadi leaves.
Moments after adi left dadi entered my cabin. I stood up and greeted her she smiled at me warmly which was pretty unusual. I knew she must be here on purpose and won't be leaving till I agreed to it.
I touched her feet and told her to sit. She sat on the sofa and I sat beside her.
Dadi: Maan I am here to talk to you about something important? She looked at me and then said "Maan I, I think you should start a fresh,Its been three months."
I looked at her speciously Dadi come, I knew she was up to something and so I asked her
"Dadi come straight to the point. You know I don't like talk's in riddles." I could see nervousness and tension on dadi's face.
I was worried now because I have never seen dadi nervous. I placed my hand on her and asked her " Is everything ok Dadi?"
Dadi " yes my son! Everything is fine it's just I am worried about you."
I stood up and asked her in a bit irritated manner "worried about me! But why? What's wrong with me?
Dadi "because off this attitude of yours Maan. You don't realize that how your attitude effect others. This is just not going to work Maan."
I give an exasperated sigh and said "What is it dadi? Just come straight to the point."
Dadi "why don't you get married Maan? I know it's not easy for you but you have to move on besides Geet was just a mere girl and we will find you another girl"
I never thought dadi will say something like that to me. She knew that I will never marry any other girl than Geet. I could feel anger rising in me by the name of another girl. How can she say mere girl to Geet? Geet was not just mere girl, she was my love,my life and I can never accept any other girl on her place.
I turned towards the window and said " Dadi I don't think so I am ready for this marriage stuff and I'll be fine, I just need some time."
Sighing dadi left from there.

I know Maan you don't want to forget her,nor you want to give her place to anyone but you have to understand that now she belongs to someone else.
I will find a nice girl for you but I won't promise you that she will be like Geet because no one can compare our Geet.
I just wish that someone will again fill your life with happiness and you will again smile.

I was getting checked up by the lady gynecologist after my check-up doctor told me that
Doctor " Mrs Garwel everything seems fine with you but still I will suggest you and your husband should get your blood tests too."
After a while I saw Dev looking at me with anger and disgust as if I was filth but I just ignored his glare and moved to the other room for the blood test.
Once our blood test was done dev dragged me out of the hospital and said me.
Dev "If you get pregnant in coming days then make sure that it's a boy or else we will abort the baby."
I looked at dev with shocked because I never expected him to say like that about our first baby and so I bluntly told him.
Geet "It's not in my hands to have a boy it's up to God what he will bless us with and it doesn't matter what we will have at least we will have a child weather girl or a boy and why are you acting like an illiterate person. "
He griped my hairs in his fist and a whimper escaped my lips out of pain. And brought my face closer to his and said
Dev "I am illiterate how dare you call me illiterate you filth." He was about to slap me but then stopped when he noticed that some people were looking at us.
Dev "I will see you at home" he said with gritted teeth's."

I knew what was coming for me once we will reach home. I was silently praying to God that he would somehow save me from Dev's wrath today.
As we reached home Mr Garwel was already present there and I was glad for his presence because dev would never hurt me in front of him. Mr Angad Garwel is the most amazing person I had ever met. Though he is the richest man in the whole village but he never showed off his power.
Mr garwel in his grave voice called Dev"Dev my son come and sit I would like to talk to you."
Dev quietly sat beside Mr Garwel and then Spoke
Mr Garwel "Mr Rohan is coming with his family to see Payal and I want both of you to be present here."
