Cousin of Maan and a neurosurgeon by profession. He, unlike Maan, is very responsible and good hearted individual. He goes by his ideals and doesn't believe in hurting others to achieve something. The two brothers have stark contrast between each other right from their lifestyle. While Maan believes in enjoyment, Dev believes in duty. This 27 year old doctor is an orphan and is raised by Maan's parents. He shares a very good rapport with two of his brothers but not really close to either of them because of the choices he has made in his life.
Roshan Singh Khurana
Younger brother of Maan and like him, an arrogant brute. Follows his elder brother completely because he has everything that is required to be present in a man or as so he thinks. He feels that Dev is wasting his life by running behind sick patients when he was supposed to be enjoying it. He has his own flirty nature, able to please people in a jiffy. He has been gifted with a keen sense of talking and has uncanny ability of twisting talks. Dev often becomes his prey but as he doesn't bother very much, Roshan doesn't really feel that he is doing a great job.
Neha Singhania
A fellow pediatrician and the closest friend of Geet. Knows her best friend in and out. An individual of high principles and ideals. She doesn't believe in compromising. She does what she thinks is right but never hurts others nor is she blunt in her words. She is the biggest pillar of support for Geet after her mother. Being an orphan, she stays in a working woman hostel. She is like a second daughter to Geet's mother Gayatri and respects her like her own mother. If there is one thing that she can't tolerate then it is her best friend getting hurt.
Gayatri Handa
A single mother, living with her daughter. Her daughter Geet is her whole universe. After getting thrown out of her in-laws house, she managed to carve a life for her and her daughter out of great difficulty. She hasn't told Geet about her father and his family because she doesn't want Geet to suffer under that burden of complex family relationships. She has even changed her surname back to her father's because she doesn't want to have any sort of connection with anything belonging to her so called husband.
Sheela Desai
An influential lady in the world of business and aunt of Maan and Roshan. A high headed and an arrogant socialite. Gives lot of importance to appearance and status. After the death of Maan's mother, Maan and Roshan completed their studies staying with her in Chicago. Hates Dev and doesn't consider him a part of family. She absolutely adores Maan and Roshan and pampers them a lot. A wrong person to emulate but unfortunately Maan and Roshan follow her and her high society principles.
Rajesh Singh Khurana
A hard working businessman. Reached the top position all by himself. He considers sending Maan and Roshan to US as his biggest mistake in life. He reckons he had underestimated his Sheela's greed and stupidity because he can see the result of her care in the behavior of two of his sons. He respects and loves Dev more than his sons to their great irritation and considers him as an ideal man. Though Roshan is bothered about his father's closeness with Dev, Maan has gone over it and doesn't care nor get irritated. In fact, Maan doesn't give any importance to his father and his idealism.
Shatrughan Desai
The main player in the lives of Maan and Roshan. He has the ability to twist any kind of situation to his favour. A typical businessman looking for profits and losses in everything he does. No time and interest in the fields of emotions and doesn't give any importance to people around him. His life's aim is to ruin the lives of Maan and Roshan so much that will be impossible to get back to normal and in a way, he has already achieved half of it. His wife is his ally. Though Sheela is unaware of her husband's devious plans, she supports him in his endeavors, nonetheless. He treats Dev as just a mere family doctor doing his job.
