Next day
Maan had a meeting so Daddi left for school to pick Rehaan.On the way to school Geet stuck in traffic jam.It was not possible to reach school at time.So she called school n to take care of Mannat.Suddenly she thought about Maan n called him to pick lil girl.But he was in meeting so his phone was off.
Geet left her car n making her way in between heavy traffic jam leaving behind each n every vehicle she ran toward school.But in hurry left her phone in car.
Time was already 1:30 but if Geet tries to reach by foot.That also gonna take 30 minutes.After leaving traffic jam behind she got an auto.
Attendant at school handed over Rehaan to Daddi.Lil boy found Geet or any one else was not here to pick Mannat.He freed his hand from Daddi's grip n ran inside gate.Where Mannat was crying for her Mommi.Even attendant was not able to handle her.When attendant told her mother ll come late due to traffic jam.All kids had been taken to their homes
Rehaan: Mannat kyo ro rahi ho...aur mommi bhi nahi aayi aaj (he held her with his lil hands)
Mannat: Rehaan Mannat ki mommi traffice jam main hai unko late ho jaa-aga. (she rubbed her eyes)
Rehaan:tum royo mat...Daddi Maa hai na wo tumko ghar le kar jaa-a gi (he wiped her eyes)
Daddi was listening kids frm behind.
Daddi : Ha beta hum apko ghar le kar jaate hai...don worry.(she stroked Mannat's hair)
Attendant: But Madam its not possible jab tak inke ghar se koi nahi aata hum kissi k sath nahi bhej sakte aur fir bhi jaroorat hue to bachy ko ghar tak le kar jaana hamari duty hai
Mannat: Humko momi chahea...humko darr lag raha hai..(she yelled with full force)
Daddi also melted looking at this poor girl.She wiped her tears rolling down to her cheeks)
Daddi:Aap jaante hai na humme to fir apko kya objection hai.
Attendent:Madam apko kon nahi jaanta per rule is rule.
Daddi: okey hum inki mother se apki baat karva detay hai..u hav her number.
Attendant: Wait a minute .(but before she could find out Mannat gav her mother's number to Daddi)
But instead of Geet ..driver picked her phone n told what happened.Geet had forgotten phone in hurry.But driver gav Inder's number to her.Even attendant has Inder's no.
Inder asked Attendant to hand over Mannat to Savitri Devi. Daddi asked driver to take other route toward's Handa mension so not to stuck in traffic.
Rehaan: Aab to theek hai na aab tum mat rona (he pinched her cheek)
Mannat: Per jab mommi school jaa-agi to hum unko nahi mile-gay...she ll cry lik me (she made face)
Daddi: Don worry Mannat waha jo aunty hai wo Geet ko batta dengi ..aab chalo rona mat
Inder had given address to Daddi even attendant.But even then Mannat was making Daddi remember where her home was.
Within 20 minutes they reached Handa Mension.Finding her at home Mannat started to giggle.
Mannat: Hamara ghar aa gaya ...
When driver blew horn.Rano came running .She was also waiting for them.As Inder had already informed her.Daddi opened door n came out.Driver helped both kids to came out.
Rano: Mrs Khuraana ..aa-ea (she welcomed Daddi)
Daddi: Aap humko jaanti hai..If I m not wrong aap Mannat ki Nani hai
Rano: Ji..Inder ne mujhe bata diya tha ..thanx so much
Daddi: Thanx kis baat ka...Geet jaise Rehaan ka khyal rakhti hai waise he Mannat ko jab hamari jaroorat ho..hamara farz hai yeh..aur agar Rehaan aur Mannat itne attached na bhi hotay to ek chote se bachy ko aise akele rehne denna..this is really bad..Yeh to Mannat hai very special child..jinki wajah se hamare Rehaan ko Maa mil gayi hai (she kissed Mannat' hand)
Rano: Aaea Mrs Khuraana andar chalte hai ...
Daddi: Aaj nahi fir kabhi...actually humme kissi relative ko dekhne jaana hai..wo bimaar hai.(she politely asked to take leave)
Rano: Aise nahi kuch time he sahi aap aise nahi jaa sakti
Rehaan: Chaliye na Daddi..Rehaan ko mommi se bhi milna hai..hum unki wait karte hai (he jerked her hand)
Rano: Rehaan per aap humse to mil lijiye ..pata hai main kon hu
Rehaan: Aap Momi ki Momi hai na...mujhe pata hai...Mannat ne apka name lekar bataya tha..aap momi k jaise he pyar karti hai.
Rano: Aur apko bhi ...per main Momi ki Momi nahi Nani hu okey ..Mannat ki Nani apki bhi
Rehaan: Nani (this word was new ).Rano brushed his hair
Mannat: oo-ff abhi tak yahi kadde hai sabh ...chaliye (she hit floor)
Rano: oh sorry Mrs Khuraana...chaliye hav a cup of tea ..Geet bhi aati hogi.
Dadi: Sure chaliye
Mannat grabbed Rehaan's hand n both kids ran toward play room
Rano: Geet sach main tense hogi..aur tension uske liye theek nahi.(she was worried for Geet's problem)
Dadi: Don worry hume staff se keh diya tha wo Geet ko inform kar den-gay..but kush to preshan hogi he...she had no phone.
Both ladies sit on sofa in livin area.They were having cup of tea.When Rano heard Geet screaming.
Geet: Mannat...Mannat...Maa (she had lost her senses )
Rano placed cup on table n ran toward her.She was much worried looking at Geet's unruly hair.Unknown ferar in her eyes was visible in her wet eyes .
Rano: Geet calm down..Mannat ghar per hai..Mrs Khuraana unko le kar aayi hai (she hugged her n stroked her back)
Geet: kahan hai Maa Mannat (she yelled)
Rano: Rehaan k sath room main hai
Geet: Main dekh kar aati hu ..main aati hu ..okey (she repeated words n before she could go...Rehaan n Mannat both ran toward her calling her 'Momi'
Geet: Mannat r u all rite...Rehaan aap bhi Mannat k sath hai (she cradled both kids)
Dadi : Geet betay control beta every thing is fine
Geet looked back .Daddi was there.Geet who was on her knees got up .She estimated ...this lady was Savitri Devi Khuraana.
Geet: Daddi Maa
Daddi: Ji Daddi Maa
Geet: thanx apne meri Mannat ko yaha laane ki takleef ki (she folded her hands)
Daddi: Don b formal beta ...Mannat hamare liye bhi waise he hai jaise Rehaan hamare sath sath apke liye
Geet: Main dar gayi thi...Mannat he hai mere pass jinne k liye She is every thing for me.sabh kush (she tried to b normal)
Daddi: I know pata hai apke jaise he Maan hai..possesive about Rehaan isliye wo aise harkat kar latay hai .jiska unhe bhi pata nahi hota..lik wo lunch wala incident.
Geet: Its okey...
Rano: Geet tum pehle jayo change kar lo .
Geet: G Maa ..Daddi Maa main aati hu
Daddi: Okey beta...I ll wait.aab jab aa he gaye hai to aapse do baate he kar lay.Apne relative ko dekhne kal jaa sakte hai (she tapped her cheek)
Geet: Ji
Geet left palce.Daddi was continuously looking at her.
Daddi: Aab samjh aaya Geet ne sirf Rehaan ki zindgi main rang kaise bhar diye..saath saaht hamare Maan ko bhi change kar diya kahin kissi limit tak
Rano: aap kya keh rahi hai..Ms Khuraana ..Geet ne apke grandson ko change kar diya.
Dadi: Ji she made him realize what relations r (she narrated whole Diba kand(incident ) to her.How she showed real image of emotions relations in life )
Rano: Per meri beti k saare rang to Mannat tak he hai...aab Rehaan ne lagta hai usko fir se hasne ki ek wajah aur de di
Daddi: Ji
Rano: Mera matlaab hai she was alone sirf Mannat tak he thi iski jannat...aab Rehaan is reason she wanna think...she wanna liv more.
Dadi: I can understand.But if u don mind what about her husband .Mannat's father.
Rano was shocked to hear this what to answer.But she had to giv answer.When Geet was hear.In a world where a woman has to answer.If she is alone has a child she has to tell world parentage of her child.Dadi now was first one .In Canada nobody questioned her now she has to face.
Rano: She has been divorced.. So she is such...she hate that man even not wanna attach name with her daughter
Daddi was looking at her spellbound.
