DHDAJS Part 3

"Geet beta" Rano called as she placed her hand on her shoulder and then sat next to her on the bench, "ghar chale, raat kafi ho gai beta"

Rano looked at her shocked as she said that, she has been hearing this phrase again and again, but nobody knew why she said that.

Rano hugged her creasing her hair and said "na beta aisa nahi kah te, wo tu ek accident tha"

Rano-Beta Baba ji does everything for a reason, why don't you look in a bright way; there must be something good for you behind all these incidents

Geet- what happiness will I get now, jisne dena tha wo tu kab ka mujh se moh mur kar dor us asman main chala gaya, aab kya rakha hai is zindagi main.

Just then Mohindar came there, seeing him coming Rano quickly wipes her and Geet tears, which didn't go unnoticed by him, he knew very well that, they were crying for dev. Mohindar cames and put his hands on both the lady and says "kya batein ho rahi Mama aur beti main"

Rano- kuch nahii was just telling her to lets go, it's getting dark, if she stays out for long she will get sick.

Mohindar- bahi ye baat tu aap ki mama ne bilkul sahi kaha beta, chaliye hum ghar chalet hai wahan batein karenge" Mohindar held both in his hug as they made their way to their car. They all sat in the back seat while Geet sat next to the window resting her head on Mohindar lost looking out in the dark, just like her life is lost, it's all dark no happiness no love no light. As she looked at the road the memories of their accident flashed in, she held Rano hand as tight as she could. Oh how she wished she was dead instead of him. What is the point of this life that has no meaning in this world without him without her dev, without his love?

After sitting out for hours Geet came in her room and her step stopped at the door as her eyes fell on Dev pic,

The first time they confessed their love to each other, the first time he asked her out for date, the night they both kissed each other for the first time. The day Dev purposes her making her his forever. All the beautiful memories flash backed as she falls down on her knees as her beautiful dreams are broken now.

She came in and sat on her arm chair rocking back and forth taking Dev pic and held it near her heart. She cried silently as she remember dev face covered in blood and as they tried to reach each other hand but it failed, he broke his promise of being with her forever and left her alone in this world to die.

She stood in her room porch staring at the sky where the moon was still full, Tears gushed from her eyes as it only reminded her of Dev and the beautiful moments they spend together. Her arm embraced herself as if she was in Dev embrace. She looked up closing her eyes as she cried out not being able to bear this loneliness, this pain of having Dev not with her, she whimpered like a little baby to give her most precious thing back in her life. "Why Dev, why did u left me alone, kis gunha ki saza de raho ho mujhe plz come back to me plz, main tumhare bina nahi jee sakti plz come back to me Dev, plz" Geet screamed as she falls on the ground holding her head.

It was Sunday morning Mr. & Mrs. Shigal were at Handa Haveli, as they planned to spend the day together.

"How Geet is now, where is she kahi dikah nahi rahi" Sneha asked as she helped Rano in the kitchen making food for the day

Rano- she is still sleeping, but she is still blaming herself for the accident

Sneha- main deakh ti hoon use"

Sneha went to her room and found her sleeping holding Dev picture, her room was filled with his and her pic, tears welled up in her eyes seeing Dev picture and the love Geet had for him, if Baba ji hadn't taken Dev away from them Geet would have became their house bahu by now, it was their dream to make her their house Bahu but now it all shattered. Sneha went to Geet and creased her hair, she placed a kiss on her forehead and said "Geet beta get up, it's getting late for breakfast"

Geet- no Mom, mujhe nahi ana, aap jao

Sneha- how can I go without my daughter, hmm chalo get up quickly, everyone is waiting for u at the breakfast table.

Geet- Mom plz,

Sneha- beta plz stop behaving like this, I have been noticing you after the accident you have changed, why are you ignoring us beta,

Listening to Sneha word Geet quickly sit up and says "no mom it's not like that, I...I can't, coz of me you lost dev Mom, you lost him, how could u still love me, main bauth buri hoon, buath buri" and started crying, Sneha hugged her and said "beta it wasn't your fault, it all happened coz baba ji wanted this, its not your fault" saying this she ran out of her room but stopped as she saw Varun standing on the door step, she looked back at Geet once again before walking out of her room. Varun came in and sat by Geet, "Dad" Geet said as she hugged him.

Varun- shhh, no beta no crying,

Geet- Dad I killed him, main ne mere dev ko mar dala Dad, main ne use mar dala

Varun- no beta aap ne Dev ko nahi mara, it was just an accident, it was just an accident aap khud ko blame mat karo" Geet kept crying like that, Varun couldn't see tears in her eyes and knew only one way to stop it and says "beta agar Dev zinda hota aur wo aap ke aankhon main ye aason deakh tu use kitni takleef hoti, tu beta jab wo nahi hai tu aap use in aanson se kyun takleef de rahi, mana ko wo hamare saath nahi par wo jahan bhi hai aap ko is hal main deakh kar use kitni taklef ho rahi hogi, now I know my Geet beta doesn't want to hurt her Dev, do you, no na" Geet nods in no "then no more crying ok, chalo aap ke mama papa aap ka wait kar rahe hai"

Geet wipes her tears and says "papa aap jao main fresh ho kar aati hoon"

Geet goes and takes shower and after a while she joins everyone on the breakfast table. As she sat she meekly smiled and everyone, after Dev death this was the first time she came and sat with them like this, soon they started eating, but Geet just played with her food lost looking at the chair across her where Dev usually used to sit, right across her, she looked at the empty chair hoping that from somewhere dev will just come and joined them at the breakfast table, he will be their teasing her with his gesture, with his talk, but he never came, as the mins passed Geet eyes welled up with tears, while everyone just stared at her, and the chair she was staring at. A tear escaped from Rano eyes looking at Geet, her daughter life became like a hell, she had never dream of seeing her only daughter like this, and nothing was left in her life, no love, no desire to live this life. As she looked at her a sob escaped from her lip breaking Geet trance bringing her back to reality that Dev will never come back now, she looked at everyone and the empty chair before she ran to her room crying_____
