Well I agree with you to a certain extent. But in all honesty more than being treated as a queen, personally, I feel that being treated and respected as an equal is important. If someone cannot respect your choice and decisions, and they manupilate them to their benefit than you cannot trust them.
And it isn't about Rehan. Rehan and Geet had strong love but every love has its weak point and how many people will not believe their parents? If Rehan hadn't believed his father it would also be a mark against him. I am not defending him, but showing the varying POVs.
