Chapter 55

When Doctor Rekha came for check up.She was surprised to find these two strange creatures.Few hours back they were on the verge of death for their lov.She had seen Maan's condition n she was aware of circumstances those were responsible for Geet's condition...every thing related to her Maan.Now these two were fighting jst lik any other small kids

She was lookin at them standing at door.When Daddi n Rano joined her.

Daddi: Doctor aap inki is fight ko dekh kar preshan hogi..what they were doing.? (Daddi Maa nodded her head n took a deep breath looking at their kiddish acts)

Dr: Lil bit….there s no doubt about their lov.Aur fight bhi hoti hai pyar main..even me n my husband..per aise bacho k jaise its strange..jaise koi much younger kids karte hai….(she whispered )

Daddi: Dr u know jab tak hamare bachay aisa behave na kar rahe ho...humme lagta hai..there is some thing fishy in between both...its very normal thing to us.If they r behaving so it means yeh donno us sadme se nikl-na chahte hai…(she controlled her laughter lookin at them )

Dr: That's good for both of them to over come such a shock especially Geet.

Rano came with lil baby who was sleeping in his Nani's lap peacefully.Perfect M shaped lips…Same big broad eyes.Jst replica of his father..When three ladies came in Both Maan n Geet became normal.

Dr: So Geet tell me how r u feeling..ur tesr reports r good.But u need rest.?

Geet nodded her head.

Maan: Geet why r u not saying some thing…sir kyo hilla rahi ho...ja tumko bolna kaise hai yeh bhul gaya (he teased)

Geet looked at him lik wanna eat him.

Dr: Its okey ..Geet ko time lag sakta hai bolne main..itni derr baad...we can't expect her to talk normally at the moment...in same pace (she cleared)

Rano: Geet beta koshis to kar…tumhari awaaz sun-nay k liye main saalon ka intzaar kar rai hu. (she begged)

Geet looked at Rano but when she found their lil bundle of joy in her lap …she spread her arms to take him.Maan put pillows behind Geet to make her comfortable.Rano slowly placed baby from her lap to Geet's arm…He was still sleeping.

Maan: Geet dhayan se pakdo…?(Really funny..he asked in such a way that he had been taken training in handlings kids )

Geet again gav him tough looks n he realized.

Maan: Aise kyo dekh rahi ho…kush galat kaha maine…I hav more experience then u…becoz I took my son in my lap before u…(he said proudly )

Daddi: Hey bhagaan kyo hoga in donno ka…is nanhi se jaan ko he mudda(matter) bana liya in-hone.(she put her hand on own forehead) Maan betay agar aab aap dono ne fight ki to I ll take my baby from both of u…(she scolded)

Maan: Maine kya kiya Daddi Maa…apki bahu attitude dekha rahi hai…mujhe…he is my son also…to kya main itna nahi keh sakta isko k handle him with much care...(he looked at Geet with anger But when he found baby smiling in sleep he melted) Merhaa bacha…Papa theek keh lahe hai na…haina baby bolo ishliye aap hash rahhe ho Mamma perh...(he softly took baby's face in his hands n kissed him.But his stuble made baby uncomfortable)

Geet hit him on his hand.N she tried to speak.

Geet: Maan…may-ray(mine ) ba-chchy koo rulaaa diya (u made my son cry) [she said with difficulty]

But evey one was amazed n happy to at least she tried to speak

Rano: Geet..tum bol sakti ho…I can't imagine..main kitni kush hu main he jaanti hu..Maan theek ho gaye..tum theek ho..aur hamara bacha wo sahi salamat is duniya main aa gaya..kya chaah-ea humme(she came forward n kissed her )

Maan: Maa every body noticed I m okey except ur daughter…mujhe pata hai..she can speak..per isko nahi pata main chal sakta hu..(he complaint n acted lik he was about to cry )

Geet looked at him.Becoz through which situation she had been passed ..she was not able to think any thing..When she ran away from Pammi's trap.The only aim in her mind was baby's safty.n after coming out of coma..her lil one was in her mind

Geet : Maan aap…(her mouth remained open..when she noticed )

Maan: Ha main chal sakta hu..aur apni inhi taan-go (legs) per chal kar tumhe yahan laya tha…

Geet: aap laaye thay (she repeated his words)

Maan: Nahi wo tumhara sankat mochan (savior)...Addi laaya tha..aur mujhe patta hai tum donno kush na kush kichdi pakaa-tay rehte ho...that sirf tum he jaante ho (he made fun of Addi n Geet)

Geet: Ya Mr Khuraana he is..beocz he is my brother

Maan: I know Geet what he is not jst for u ..but for me also..wo nahi hota to tumko main akela nahi dhund pata..(he praised Addi)

Geet:Maan aap wahan kaise pahunch gaye ..aur jab aap mujhe laa-a mujhe kush nahi pata

Rano: Ha Geet he is saying rite about Addi...aur Maan laaye thay tumhe..wo khud itne jakhmi thay k tumhe aur apne bachchy k liye kissi cheese ki parvaah nahi ki..inke kaaran he aaj tumhari god main yeh nanhi se jaan khel rahi hai..(When Rano told her...Geet kissed her baby)

Dr: Ji Geet ji ur mother is absolutely right ..he was in worse condition when he took u here…I can say more worse then u…becoz u was in his arms but nobody was with him..or u can say he not cared about his condition for u.He proved sirf shaddi karna aur bacha paida karna he pati ka dharma nahi usko nibhaana bhi aana chaahea…he did same. (When Dr praised Maan..he put his face down ..as he was not used to such emotional appreciations except appreciations of his good work in business)

Geet looked at him with tear filled eyes.

Rano went near to Maan n showed Geet the stitches on Maan's stomach.. Also explained every thing what happened.Geet was shocked to find this.How Maan was behaving in such a normal manner with her.Even he was in such bad condition.Jst to make her comfortable..n helping her to come out of shock.Maan set next to Geet n hugged her

Maan: Geet jo hua bhul jayo sach to yeh hai..hamare bachay ne humme wo sabh de diya jo hamare pass nahi tha..khushiya…a reason to liv..aur Mujhe fir se apne paon(feet) per chlne ki taakat...taaki main isko apni ungli pakad kar chalna sikha saku n tumhari aawaz so that jab yeh roye to tum isko lorri sunna sako.(he put his hand on his son's head)

Geet nodded her head n hugged him more tighly.

Dr:Mr Khuraana if u don't mind plz let me check her…

Maan: Sure doctor.

He took baby from Geet n doctor started to ask some questions to Geet

Dr: Geet ur reports r normal weakness hai due to severe blood lose..but u gonna b alrite…r u feeling any pain in stitches

Geet: Not much but doctor very heaviness in breast…(she said slowely )

Dr: Wo to hoga he…don worry abhi sabh theek ho jaaega(She smiled)

Daddi: Ji beta aisa hota hai sabh theek ho jaaega...Maan betey humme dejiye hamare bachay ko..aur aap chup chap apne bed per let jaa-ea…u also need rest..(she seconds doctor)

Maan: But Daddi

Dr: Maan Ji plz …jab se apke betay ne janam liya hai abhi tak Geet brest feeding nahi karva sakki that's why she is feeling heaviness.Let us do our work..otherwise agar jayada der ki to due to extra flow of milk Geet ko or problem hogi n it ll turn to fever...n swelling n this is not good for both Geet n baby..so plz Maan Ji go to ur bed (doctor explained it to him)

Maan: Kyo mera bacha hai..mere saamne Geet breast feed nahi karva sakti...koi ban hai mere uper.. waise bhi She is my wife so...(he was not aware what he was saying 😆 😉)

Daddi: Maan aap such main shameless ho rahe hai…apni bedroom lif ko hospital room main mat laa-ea…behave lik a good boy…Let Geet go back home…(she warned him)

Maan: But Daddi

Daddi held Maan from wrist n made him to lay on bed forcibly.But he was looking at Geet continuously with thief eyes

Dr..Rano n Daddi three of them were instructing Geet how to breast feed her son.Maan found great satisfectin n pride of motherhood in Geet's eyes n on face...His eyes got wet…

Every thing was going fine .Maan had been discharged after two days.But he decided to stay back with Geet at hospital becoz Doctor advised to keep Geet n baby for couple of days more in hospital.Whole family finalized baby's name Raj Kanwar or Kawar…till Namkaran.Becoz Daddi started to call baby so.So with lov baby was not Kanwar

On day Geet was dischanrged.

Daddi came with a sparkling pink Sarrhi having heavy Jarri work for Geet..n formal Indian dark green Kurta for Maan.But comfortable specially picked baby dress for their new born bundle of joy.

Maan: Daddi Maa what's this.we r going home not in a party.

Daddi: aap chup kijiye Maan let me do my job.Yeh dress lijiye n change it.I hav to help my daughter to change…so hurry up.

Maan: Okey Daddi…I hav to other wise same Daddy drama gonna start...(he made pitty face)

Daddi oh shut up Maan no more to say..go

N Maan left for change,

Geet: Daddi I m sorry per kya main push sakti hu itne special cloths kyo..we r going back home.(hesitation)

Daddi: Ji beta we r going home.per sahi may-nay (meaning ) main apka greh parvesh aab hoga..jab Maan apne paa-o (feet) per apni dulhan ko ghar laa-ay-gay…aur hamara bachcha ..hamare Raj Kawar pehli baar apne ghar jaa-a-gay.So isn't it special.(she was much happy)

Geet: Ji Daddi Maa…per I hav stitches

Daddi: I know beta..so I hav brought special Kurti type blouse for u..it is comfortable…n ur stiches gonna b alrite.

Geet: Daddi Maa jaisa aap kahe…is kushi se jayada aur kya hai mere liye…

Daddi: Maan change kar le ..fir aap kar lijiye tab tak hum apne Raj Kawar ko ready kar le.

Maan came back n Geet also changed.they reached home at around 10:30

Rano was ready with Aarti n gav it to Daddi..Geet spread rice from pot on threshold with her foot..n entered home leaving behind her red foot prints.Maan was holding lil baby in his lap.Jst few close people were there..its Geet's idea…to keep it a personal matter.Daddi thought it that Geet was not totally out of that trauma….so she said yes.But there was some thing else in Geet's mind n Addi was part of it.
