Depth Of Love-Part8

Maan hired a taxi from delhi to hoshiarpur ...he was busy in thinking abt geet ,finally he was going to see her..he was bit nervous but excited, his heart was beating fast just with the imaginations how his geet will look after so many years...when he reached the outskirts of delhi the taxi tyre got punctured...sardarji dint had the spare wheel...when he saw a bus coming towards them with full of passengers...

Maan: sardarji kya aap bhi ...stepney nahi hai aapke paas

Sardarji: ek kaam karo beta ji...ye bus seedha hoshiarpur le jayegi aapko..isme beth jao...

When maan saw the bus it was packed,ppl were sitting on the top..he had no other option...he was crazy today...he ran towards the bus and people on top held his hand and pulled him .He made himself comfortable with them...bus had a grp of rajashthanis who were dancing singing and njoying and some youth crowd njoying on the top...

cool breeze blowing through his hair and this song...Maan was loving all this entertainment... and above all he was goin to see his geet...he was full of energy marked by pleasure.

Maan had a great time ...he joined them in singing ,dancing,playing there instruments...he was loving all this and above all their simplicity and the easiness with which they mingled with maan,even they loved him and song was entirely dedicated to him ;)

Maan get down frm the bus...bid them adieu...and bus headed towards its destination.

Maan took a deep breath feeling geet in the air...his heart was beating fast with anxiety ...somehow from dadimaa he knew geet is Handa unlike geet who dint even knew maan's full name forget his family...neither she wanted to...Dev and Meera were shifted to Mumbai after Devki's death.

Without wasting any time Maan enquired about handa's and reached their haweli...he was hiding behind a tree looking at the main entrance of the haweli...he knew his limits...he just wanted to see his geet to his heart's contenet...she is happy and safe thats all was his concern...

Geet and rajji were coming back from school...geet was feeling very uneasy today...she badly wanted to go to the garden and calm herself but she dint want rajji to get disturbed heading there at this time...

Geet(hesitating): rajji aaj baba mujhe lene aayenge ,wo hum logo ko kahi davat pe jana hai...to tu aaj school bus sey he chali ja..mai nahi aa paongi tere saath..

Rajji was reluctant to leave geet behind,but then geet convinced her she ll be ok...and as soon as rajji left geet ran towards the local bus to their meeting place...

There maan was waiting for her outside her place and geet was in the garden sitting on their common bench feeling him ...

Geet(st): kya ho raha hai aaj mujhe...itni bechaini kyu hai...kabsey yaha hu par ye thamne ka naam he nahi leti..she felt contended whenever she was here...but today it was something strange...she was more and more restless.....hey babaji mujhe darr lag raha hai..

Geet was tired with her thoughts today...she was feeling him v close but where is he...if he is not here then y she is feeling him sooo close today physically...unwillingly she left the place or else she knew somebody will come searching for her.

Maan: Geet kaha ho tum...ab to bahar aao...shaam hone wali hai...

Random ppl were entering and exiting..Maan for not even a second removed his eyes from the enterance ...

In few hrs he heard subtle steps coming towards haweli...he immediately adjusted himself behind the tree and carefully peeped frm there ...the moment he peeped he was astounded...he knew it was geet...her each move was traced in his heart ..though he was quite a distance away frm her... her steps made him feel little geet running towards him the way she did always she see him... she was manifestation of much more than what he had in his imaginations...he was lost in her beauty until she was away from him...spell-bound,he fell on his knees...he kept his hand on his heart which was beating at its highest rate it cud...he closed his eyes to calm himself..

Geet ran inside her room closing the door ...she was panting...she never felt like this...as if some one is piercing her...she cudnt stop herself from crying today...a tear escaped her eyes ...when supriya called her...she rubbed her eyes..made herself relax and went outside trying to behave normal...but it was not helping ..she was doing silly mistakes...she was nibbling her meal and drinking water on every piece of chapati .

Daarji: ye kya kar rahi hai...kitna pani peeyegi...

Geet finished her meal somehow..and left for her room...

Supriya sensed something is wrong but then decided to ask her in the morning..

Geet fell straight on her bed...but sleep was no where in her eyes today...she was feeling suffocated and opened the window...

Maan found a lodge for himself...only he knew how he managed to gather himself frm there and look for an accommodation... how could he even think abt leaving geet now...He was in deep thoughts all the while and dint knew when his eyes gave away thinking abt her...

He jerked up at 12 am and realized he was sleeping frm last 4 hrs ...he took his slr and went towards her haweli... it was all dark when he entered like a thief and saw a window open in one of the room...he decided to enter from that window in haweli...

When he reached the window ...what he saw...some how he balanced himself ...a face like a bud a fresh lotus was sleeping in the room...his geet sleeping cuddled like a baby..he was mesmerized looking at his sleeping angle...he jerked himself to come out of his possessed form...he started clicking.. he focused her face and started taking her pics,..she was making all sweet expressions while sleeping ...twitching her nose,lips eyes...maan was smiling and clicked her every sleeping facial expression...now he adjusted the focus reduced the zoom and was abt to click her full essence when he saw her delicate legs coming out of sheet with her salwar moved up and something on her ankle...he looked at the screen then away with his bare eyes again...but she pulled her legs inside the sheet covering them...he cudnt believe what he saw ...he jumped inside the room went near the bed slowly ,he moved the sheet frm her legs her salwar little bit up ...it was the unpolished old anklet she was wearing ...geet had her eyes closed,she felt someone removing her sheet and closed her eyes tight feeling its a dream...

A tear escaped his eyes...he held her ankle... when geet woke up all of sudden and before she cud react ,maan closed her mouth with his palms.
