Rex: nahi...mujhe G se kuch baat karni hai..

Rex glared maan with full of attitude and moved to release Geet away from maan's hold...

Geet raised her eyebrows to rex while he closed his eyes... confused where to start from

Maan: geet...

Geet looked away from rex to find rajji came forward ...she came along with maan and was watching them from far...

Rex with his eyes closed and frustrated: arey yaar 2 min ke liye G ko liya hai...de dunga wapis...baat to karne de

Geet jumped happily when she saw rajji standing with maan ...

Geet: Rajji tu yaha..

Rajji: dekha tu mujhe abhi se bhool gayi...lekin jiju nhai bhuley ...she smiled and hugged maan side ways..

Maan shook his head on her calling him "jiju" ...bilkul rex jaise hai...bahut jamegi dono ki...

They were not in their pagdis ...The moment rex heard her name ...his eyes open wide and he slowly moved his head rotating towards rajji...and before he screams in joy...

vipul: hi rajji...this is vipul.

Saurav: hi..me saurav..

They shake hands with rajji and rex giving a stupid smile forwaded his hands to her but rajji looked at him intensly..and moved her hands away ...poor rex looked at her dismissing hands...

Raajji: maine aapko kahi dekha hai..

Geet looked at maan smiling happily gesturing ye to gayi...

Maan : ho he nahi sakta...kyunki iske jaisa ek he piece hai poori duniya me..

Rex looked at maan annoyingly and went towards geet with a complaining face,,,geet held his hand gesturing tu ruk mai dekhti hu...vipul and saurav were muffling their laughs...,they cud burst anytime...whereas rajji was confused ,didnt know what these ppl were cooking...

Geet : haan..kynki ye anmol hai...kohinoor heerey ki tarah...isliye inke jaisa ek he hai

Rex raised his invisible collar up and maan gave a hopeless look to geet...

Maan: rajji...aaj yaad hai tum kisi sardar se takrayi thi bahar

Rajji: haan...ohhh... to wo aap they...

Rex went latto on her saying aap...first time in his lifetime somebody called him aap other than his juniors that too when they were forced too...oh it was so soothing...

Geet : ley...tum dono ek doosrey se mil chukey ho...

Geet whispered to rex in one breath: aagey mujhe nahi pata...bus mera kaam yahi tak hai...aagey rajji ki marzi...al the best...

Rex moved forward: myself Rex Daniel...naam to suna hoga

Maan: kyu tu yaha ka pm hai...ya phirr ki teri photo roz front page pe aati hai...

Rex was fuming on maan but controlled...and maan was so njoying all this...but then geet made an innocent face asking him to sop now...

Rex: mera matlab geet ne bataya hoga mere baarey me..

Rajji : ji...bahut kuch bataya...i hope mai bhi ek din delhi ke he kisi college me padu...aur bilkul aap he logo ki tarah life njoy karu...

Rex: thats so cool...

rex already started dreaming rajji in his college...they are laughing,hugging talking together when maan jerked him

maan: sab chaley gaye ...ab andar chaley...

they all entered from two different enterance ..rajji and geet together ...and maan and his frends ...

Geet and maan couldnt get their eyes off from each other...geet was looking so beautiful in her Punjabi lehenga ...he couldnt help noticing the way she was speaking to elders,laughing,smiling...her every act was so magnanimous...jaha bhi jaati hai logo ko apna bana leti hai...maan was on peak of his emotions ..he was uncontrollable ..he just wanted this party to end and geet with him in their room...

It was dinner time...when they all deliberately moved together towards the buffet so that they cud be together and nobody noticing them... rajji offered maan to come and stand beside geet while she was standing with rex... geet was restlessly looking each and every container...

Maan: geet aise kya dekh rahi ho...

Geet: maan yaha to aapke khane ke liye kuch bhi nhai hai..

maan so wanted to eat her here and now...

maan: geet agar tum apne hath se khilaogi to mai ye sab kha sakta hu...

geet was so worried ...everything was so spicy ...how will he eat all this...she took some jeera rice ...daal ...rotis ...paneer and veg kofta...and flodded the plate with whatever sweets available at the place...

maan took everything spicy..no rice ...geet never liked rice...only roti's...and gulabjamun as dessert which was her favourite...

There...rex took everything from the container which was next to where rajji was standing to be as close to her as possible while rajji was smiling looking at him everytime muffling her laughter...

geet immediately exchanged the plate at the end of the row with maan...

geet: maan jab bhi spicy lagey aap ye meetha kha lijiyega...saying this she moved away from them with rajji...maan was hating all this...he didnt wanted that distance from her...he wanted to be close to her without any worldly boundation ,without any any fear ...only them together...

maan: aakhir kab tak...kab tak...hume aise milna hoga

geet's heart skipped a beat as if she heard him...she so wanted to feed him ... she clutched her heart feeling its dwindling beats...she was feeling like crying moving away from him...

they took there place opposite each with some distance... geet could feel maan was angry...

vipul: rex...ye kya hai...tu na plate me roti laya hai na chawal...khayega kis sey...

saurav and vipul burst out laughing, looking at rex helpless face...

saurav: aur dekha kitna sara namak leke aaya hai...jaise ki koi sabzi ho...

rex shook his head to look at his plate ...he gulped realizing

rex: isiliye wo mujh pe has rahi thi..

vipul:wo kaun

rex: rajji yaar ...aur kaun..

vipul and saurav were mad laughing on poor rex...maan was busy glaring geet who was looking at him innocently...

maan started eating from his plate...he ate everything spicy...even took green chillies from rex plate...he wanted to release his tensed muscles ...before he end up ruining everything releasing his hard controlled anger ... he started doing insane things to control himself...

geet saw him doing this...maan had tears in his eyes...they were all red... with his anger and all that spicy stuff...she felt so restless...she went numb looking at maan like this...she looked everywhere around and pleased him not to do so with her eyes...but maan didnt stopped...he went on ...she wanted to stop him ..her finngers twisted into fist feeling his pain...feeling his anger...she cursed everything and everyone around her ...she gestured him to take sweets...she make baby face to convince him...saying sorry..and shook her head saying NO to him...

As soon as maan saw tears in her eyes ...his hands stopped in midway before he could feed himself another bite...he cursed himself to make her cry...how he can release his anger like this...knowing his pain will affect her more than him...isme geet ki kya galti hai... he immediately started eating the sweets she kept for him...he smiled looking at her saying he is ok now...he rubbed his eyes gesturing her to wipe her tears off and said sorry holding his ears without anybody noticing...and asked her to have her dinner...she slightly smile and dipped her head ...when maan was convinced she is ok...he left the place...

Geet left with her maa and baba with her eyes searcing for maan for a single look...to let him know she was leaving...but he was nowhere to be seen which made her all worried for him...unwillingly she left the place ...maan and his frends left the hall at the end after winding up and distributing everything to the orchestra what ever they were paid...

They were walking on an idle narrow passage while maan was all lost

Maan: guys tum log niklo delhi k liye ...mai kal aaunga

Vipul: ohkkk..njoy buddy...he winked at him

Rex: wow...so lucky..

Maan was in foul mood...he kept quiet ..didnt want to speak a word...at the same time he never wanted shout his frustration out and disturb his frens when they all were so happy...

Saurav searched for something in vipul's pocket...

Vipul: oye kya kar raha hai...

He took a c****m and placed in maan's pocket...

Maan was already so furious and with all this he couldnt control himself and screamed in anger

Maan: wht the hell is this...tum logo ne mujhe samajh kya rakha hai...tumhe kya lagta hai mai raat ko geet ke sath isliye yaha ruk raha hu kyunki...chi..cant believe this...how cud u even think like this...

Saurav rex and vipul couldnt believe this ...was it really maan shouting at them...he never let out his anger on them...never

Vipul: come on maan ..mazak kar rahe hai yaar...hua kya hai tujhe ...r u ok

Maan: no yaar...har waqt mazak nahi acha lagta...

Saurav realized his mistake...he immediately went forward and kept his hand on maan's shoulder and said sorry...

Maan closed his eyes being helpless he knew he overreacted...why he did this...when he knew they never took things seriously and it was never in them to think before they speak anything to each other, everything was acceptable ,every joke was taken sportingly and healthily...but maan's inner turmoil made him react today...he hugged saurav with all his guilt and apologized again and again ...the bful part of their relationship was...they understood each other too well,their ego never came in between their loving emotions for each other...saurav didnt left maan until he felt he was relaxed...

Saurav: rulayega aaj tu... ab ja yaar...geet tera wait kar rahi hogi...

They all laughed lightening the feel and heavy hearts ...and they left while maan went towards handa haweli...
