Chapter 9 - 16

Four days after murder Geet and Maan meet David, the forensic expert. David insinuates that the boy have stabbed his own mother. This upsets Maan and he leaves the room. Emily and Satya meet up with Geet to pick up the file and stay for dinner. Satya provides some background respect to Maan and Geet.

Anuj Bhagat and Nisha Bhagat were found murdered on October 13^th. Anuj was a writer and his wife Pratima worked at a fashion house. Anuj was a stay at home father and looked after their daughter. The shallow wound on Nisha's palm is similar to Guha boy. Geet confirms the two crimes are connected.

Some of the wound observations opens the possibility that there could be a young adult or a physically weak accomplice. Also the team notes extreme organization with lack of blood on any part of the house except the room; including living room floors.

Vansh is Pratik Guha (the son) neighbor. On the day after murder, he had visited Pratik's window and hadn't seen much. He had heard a woman singing in the morning. It's a possibility the singing came from his own house as his sister in law was nearby and Vansh was in a hurry. The team decides to revisit Bhagat's house again and as no one is living there anymore it should be well preserved. Emily notes that Geet doesn't carry any of her mother's pictures.

Maan finds a case similar to the current one dated two decades back. Inspector Venkat and Geet's father had worked on it. Geet meets Maan's father for tea and the two exchange information about Maan. There is something about the case that has triggered his father and he suggests Geet to take care of Maan.

Maan and Geet talk about profile that may have been written by Geet's father and Geet's refusal to use it this early in the investigation. Emily has made an observation that will further complicate the case or clear it up. Geet meets with Dr. Vandana for a scheduled visit.
