Could the killer (old and/or new) be working on the case...that way the new killings would make sense as the killer would have all the information...a few months ago I watched a documentary on Jack the Ripper, new theories suggest he could of just been a morgue assistant. The same can apply to this case, no? Not necessarily someone who works in the morgue, but someone who works close to the case. Seeing the bodies returning to him would bring satisfaction as it would fill his ego. I just don't understand how or why kids have been brought into this.

Am I making sense? I know it's an odd theory...but anything is possible, right?

Edit: Okay I'm being dense...the killer attacks a child, and a parent. He attacks the lady's motherhood, and has children do it too. The killer obviously has a troubled childhood and didn't get a long with a parent - probbaly the dominating one...now what caused the killings to start again we don't know...

And how can you not mimic someone's psychopathology? For example take "sociopath", where most people think they are serial killers, but majority of them live an ordinary lives. They have no conscience or empathy or affection, but they are the best observers, and have learned to mimic feelings of affections so well that you could not tell a difference.
