Geet is too numb to speak anything..she sat there like a statue with teary eyes looking somewhere in shock n confusion…

Maan looked at her once n left the room as she needs some space.."geet driver bahar hai..tum ghar jao.."s he stepped out from there…

Geet stood there for a long time recollecting evry incident she spent with maan,how maan stood for the family n how supportive he was when she lost confidence to fight against bharadwaj n how he risked his life to save the property n kc.."geet mein maan nahi hoon.."

"I don't deserve an angel like u geet.."

"tumhara jo bhi faisla hoga muje mazoor hai geet.."

His every word rang in her ears making her insane..she is not able to accept the fact that he is not maan.her heart is not ready to believe that maan cheated on family by lying to them..she just don't know what to do…she still remember how happy s.d was when maan returned home n how her life was when maan left the home..she then remember how maan came to hp,how he stood for them,how he saved s.d,his tears for her…then his ignorance towards her,his confession that he is not maan…."tumhara jo bhi faisla hoga muje manzoor hoga geet.."she just cant able to decide what to do now…her mind went totally blank.."ahhh"she cried along with a scream in frusatation n anger…she hugged her knees n sat there sobbing for a long time…

Later after two hours or so geet wiped her tears as she decided what to do now n went out.

Geet reached home n found s.d n rano in living room..she gave a meek smile to them n turned to go to her room as she wants to stay alone for sometime…"are geet bete tum akeli aayi ho kya??aur maan kaha hai..he called us last night n informed that u both are stuck in some work n now u are alone…kaha hai maan"s.d asked her n started looking for maan as if her life depends on maan…

Geet felt a pinch in her heart seeing s.d so desperate to have a look at her son..she just cant even bare few hours seperation from her son…she sighed n said what she wanted which left s.d in tears…

Maan who was feeling extremely guilty after geet's confession stayed away from everyone…he drove to somewhere unknown to him in his trance…"why??why life is so tough??why everything is so difficult in my life…I don't know where is my life leading to n what's gonna happen…I know life is not bed of roses but why life is this tough only to me..why???"his mind screamed in pain n helplessness…

He expected geet to reveal everything to her family as she loves them a lot n cant hide anything from them.."no I cant hide myself like this from them…I should face them atleast to ask for forgiveness..i know iam not forgivable as I played with their emotions but I should ask sorry for my deeds,for playing with their emotions …iam their culprit n iam ready to take any punishment from them."maan thought n again started back to km.

It's almost night now by the time maan reached km…he entered inside with heavy heart even when not having guts to face them espcly geet n s.d…he is expecting them to burst on him n as he stepped inside he found s.d n geet along with everyone in the family..maan sighed as he found geet's blank expressions..her eyes were filled with extreme anger n there were tears in her eyes which clearly stated that she was hurt badly….maan's heart winced in pain to see her tears..then his gaze shifted to s.d whose eyes were also filled…he walked a step forward dipping his head low as he have to answer them now…"stop there!!"s.d's anger filled voice stopped maan.

in mumbai:

At the same time in mumbai,ram kapoor who almost was banging his head with old files related to vikram as he is not able to find any clues…finally when he almost lost his patience he found a list of criminals along with their gangs…his dismay turned in to a hope now as found vikram's boss under whom vikram used to work a year back…"brij"he mumbled with a hope..

He immediately enquired about him n found that he is in under prisonment since a year…ram without waiting a second went to meet him as he wanted to found the criminal as soon as possible n wrap up this case which gave him sleepless nights..

Ram waited for brij to come n meet him in one room n he arrived there..

"so mr.brij…..how are u now??i know this is not fair to ask the prisoner about the life in prison.."he gave a wide smile to brij which is just a pretending one…he wants to act kind inorder to grab information about vikram..this is one of his tricks to trap criminals n he knows the ways to tackle them…brij nodded with a smile..

"hmmm….kitni ajeeb baat hai na…police officer came to seek help from a prisoner"he spoke sarcastically which is not gone unnoticed by brij..he nodded n spoke.."hota hai sir…kabhi kabhi ek criminal ko pakadne ke liye dosre criminal ki zaroorat padthi hai kyun ki wo jaantha hai ek criminal kab kya kartha hai aur kese bach jaatha hai situtation se…but I guess Iam away from all these since a year..how can I help u??"

"don't worry i wont ask u something which u cant tell me…well come to the point..iam here to know whether u know any person named vikram"

Brij nodedd in yes.."ha..he used to work under me a year before but I don't know anything now as I was sent here.."

"hmmm so vikram used to work under u..ok…can u help us in recent murder case…we got many clues showing vikram as criminal"

"no!!he cant be…"brij cut him n continued when he saw confued expressions on ram's face.."I mean he is just to plan escape…he just plans how to escape after murder…"

Ram left shocked as he is thinking.."huh!!wah bhai planning ke liye bhi…"

"so if he is there to plan then who might be the murderer.."

brij:karan…he takes up the deals…

ram is more confused now as his already confused mind got new entry in the form of karan..

ram:so mr.karan is the criminal…well since when do u know karan n is he also the member of ur gang???

Brij:I just knew him ayear before…I don't know anything about him..when we were ready to kill someone he killed them before we could do..i thought he would be perfect in our gang so I asked him to join us n he agreed immediately…he never shared any thing with us n when he joined us he seemed very helpless n in anger like he want to destroy whole world,…vikram n karan became partners n they fetched lot of money for me..and now I don't know anything about him…but iam sure this murder has done by professional of high cost(he said looking at news paper where it is clearly stated where bullet hit that political leader n how)..and as u said u got many clues about vikram then iam sure it would be none other than karan who shot him…

Ram's all confusions were almost cleared now n his task is to catch that karan..he don't have any idea about how he looks n his whereabouts…ram sighed as something clicked in his mind…he smiled at brij n asked him casually.."what would u people charge for a murder??"

All the while the other cops who stood looked at him in confusion as they were not at all getting what ram is trying to find..his all questions were of no logic or related to case even brij but he(brij) just helped him to become good in his eyes…but ram knows what he is doing n why??he very well knows how to deal with whom??his questions n his way of investigation may seem quite stupid n silly but he knows these things gonna help him…

Brij replied to ram in more casual way as if he is saying time or some usual thing…"1 0r 2 crores"

But ram got shock of his life now…he never ever thought that a murder can fetch him the amount which is approx equal to salary of a software engineer…ram smiled at brij n said "I think we should leave all this jobs n take up two or three deals like this n our life is set" n this left brij n others amused to see an officer talking like this…

What's this man??he is playing silly jokes when serious discussion is going on all the others thought but ram knows that it's necessary for him to grab every info from brij..this is ram's style to investigate with some sort of criminals.."btw where will they hide so much of money???"he again came to his topic…

Brij again casually replied.."in banks" ram again left shocked as he never expected it..as if he read ram's mind brij spoke.."even you never suspected we'll deposite in bank..right??"n smirked as if showing him see how master minded we are..

Ram nodded n said.."all the leads in this case have dead ends..anyways thanx for ur help"n he walked out from there…

Ram:ajay..(one of the cop)..i need the list of latest deposits n withdrawls happened in every bank in the city..common be quick!!

ajay nodded n went to start his work…ram smiled as he can see some hope now..

hoshiarpur:

"stop there!!"s.d's anger filled voice stopped maan.she walked to him while his head was dipped low.."what's this??i never expected this from u…how can u do this to me??"she asked in tears..

Oh what should maan do now…he just have no words to say…he lost his courage which he gathered with great difficulty when he saw s.d's anger n tears.."boliye..hum aapse kuch pooch rahe hai"

Maan sighed n gathered wits to speak"wo…i.."the one who never hesitated to speak is now searching for words...

"bas maan…I don't want to listen anything…don't give me lame excuses now…how can u be so irresponsible???pata hai subah se hamara kya haal huwa tha jab geet ne kaha ki use bina bataye tum kahi chale gaye the..aap kaha the aur kese the kuch pata nahi humein…pata hai hum kitna dar gaye the..ek pal ke liye hamari jaan nikal gayi thi jab aapka phone bhi band tha.."

All the while maan looked at her in confusion..he expected something to happen n here it happened in other way..he then looked at geet n then got that she didn't reveal truth to anyone…s.d hugged maan n scolded him for his irresponsible behavior n warned him not to repeat it again…

Soon everyone left the place leaving maaneet alone…maan looked at geet as if asking her to answer him..why did she kept mum when she knows the truth??geet walked to him in anger n burst on him.."what do u think of urself ha??u don't know how i felt since morning…and why ur phone was in off mode…"she is scolding him but it showed how much she was concerned for him,how much she was tensed for him…but why she is speaking like that as if nothing has happened??this question lingered in his mind…

When geet found him silent she frowned n turned to go cursing him under her breath..he held her wrist to stop her.."geet.."before maan could say anything geet spoke.."no need to say anything maan..i don't want to listen anything.."she turned to him with teary eyes.."aapne dekha na..buwaji kese ro rahi thi aapke liye apne bete ke liye??agar unhe pata chala ki…nahi maan mein aisa kabhi nahi hone doongi..mein kese buwaji ki kushi cheen lu ye kehkar ki jise wo beta samaj rahi hai wo asal mein…she closed her eyes allowing her eyes allowing her tears to slip down.."khair chodo wo sab..i wont tell anything to her n even I don't want to remember anything ha i never heard anything from u…mein nahi jaanthi ki aap maan hai ya aur koi but for us u r our maan who came as saviour in our lives,who changed everything in our life,who brought back our lost happiness,whom I loved the most..(she stressesd on her last sentence)"
