Lies, tearing us up inside

Squeezing us till we feel the pressure

Like a snake slowly squeezing your neck tighter

The fear of the truth not been understood

The lies weaving there way in to every persons mind

Your mind slowly giving way to the pressure

The pressure slowly increasing, people mocking you, people pointing

Lies, Truth been twisted and distorted and misrepresented

Lies, The evil of our kind, truth the good of our kind

Don't let lies over run, don't let lies stay and haunt you, speak the truth

Prologue

"Geet'leave!"

"But Maan, listen to me"

"I am having enough of your lies, just leave"

"But'I love you Maan"

"Love? I feel not like believing in this word now'"

"Maan'please listen to me..." Geet pleaded.

"Enough is enough Geet, just leave me and my family in peace-get lost from our lives"

"Maan...please don't say this-I wanted to tell you earlier before...but..."

"Earlier before? When? You are telling me you were going to tell me before our marriage or before I proposed you?"

"Maan..." Geet pleaded in a wounded voice.

"Geet; just leave...Don't make me angry or you'll regret it"

"Geet...leave my house now"

"Maan...I..."

"Now!!!"

"Maan, I am pregnant" she yelled.

Maan looked at Geet shocked. He was telling her to leave him alone after breaking such deceitful news to him and now this shocking news!

Maan looked at Geet suspicious.

Geet was shocked. "I may have lied to you'what I did was wrong'maybe'but at least don't think that? This is your baby, Maan, yours"

"How do I believe you?"

Geet was speechless!

"I'll do anything to prove it" she said in tears

"Fine-leave my house now even if the baby is mine, I can't tolerate liars; I don't want to see your face again!"

Geet looked at the adamant Maan.

"Please" she said softly.

Maan crossed his arms to his chest and looked away.

"If this make you believe...I am leaving you..." she said in tears'

"Good"

Geet stuffed her clothes in a suitcase and reached the door.

"I love you-Maan"

"Geet...leave...I hate you...you lied to me...such a big betrayal...Leave"

Geet looked Maan for the last time and left'.

Everybody hurts someday;

It's okay to be afraid;

Everybody hurts;

Everybody screams;

Everybody feels this way;

And it's okay'
