CHAPTER 2

'It was fantastic! Prankster! Tumhara jawaab nahi!' exclaimed Meghna, hugging her friend and jumping in excitement.

'Mere haat mein lag gaya tho kaise bachega! Aaj ke sham uske naam' she said dramatically and they both burst into fits of laughter.

'Par prankster, usse aur maze ki zaroorat hai. Mujhe usse revenge lena hai! Uski wajah se Rohan mujhse milne se inkar kar raha hai!' said Meghna.

'Don't worry, Meghs! Phase 2 ready hai…just tell me when to execute it and it will be done. Waise Rohan iss insaan se itna darta tha kyun hai? I mean who is he to him?'

'Afsoz ki baat hai…bhai hai uska! Maan Singh khurana Rohan ka bada bhai hai!'

'What??? Bada bhai aur uske chote bhai ki love story par break kyun lagana chahta hai?'

'Kya kare yaar? Dimag kharab hai uska! Aur yeh Rohan! Bilkul chooha hai! Kuch bhi nahi karta! Sab kuch mujhe hi karna padta hai!'

'Oh to yeh baat hai…don't worry meghs! Plan is set!'

'I know ki plan is set lekin usse execute kaise karenge? Iss baar to hum bach gaye lekin yeh Maan itna asaan nahi hai. Aaj usse jo hua uski wajah se security double kar diya hoga aur phirse hume Khurana Constructions ke hall mein jaane ka mauka nahi milega! Toh yeh plan hum kaise karenge?'

'Tum bas ek kaam kar, Rohan ko kaho Maan ko convince kare ki koi deal ya project ki ek party host kare. I mean international contacts keliye theek hoga and all that aur uske baad baaki sab mujh par chod do…'

'Theek hai main usse kahongi lekin iss party hum host kaha karenge?'

'Hotel Green life ke crystal hall mein' she replied.

'Hotel Green life mein? Wow! Lekin yeh plan successful hogaya to woh Maan phir se iss hotel mein nahi aayega aur tab tum kya karoge?'

'Hotel Green life is not the only hotel that the Handas handle aur tum iss baat ko lekar itna fikar kyun kar rahi ho? Tumhara mission Maan se pange lene ka hai aur baaki sab tum mujh par chod do. Just wait and watch ki aage kya kya hota hai! Uss Maan Singh Khurana ko andaza bhi nahi hai ki woh kisse pala pada hai…' she said with air of pride in her voice and Meghna burst out laughing and hugged her. 'Tum sach mein kamala ho prankster! Cant wait to see your next plan aur iss baar aur bhi maza aayega! Theek hai…I will tell Rohan to convince him to host a party in your hotel aur baaki sab tumhare haat mein hai…'

'Tum uski chinta mat kar…baaki sab main sambhalungi!' she said and her phone started ringing. 'Dekha…achcha shagun hai…' she said and took the call.

'Geet! Tujhe ek parcel aaya hai beta…tumne hi mangawayatha? Isme balloons hai…' said her mom and she thought for a while and replied 'ha mamma…parcel mera hi hai…lelo…woh hamare college mein party hai aur sab log kuch na kuch to lekar aarahe hai to maine socha main balloons lekar joangi…' with a wink.

'Theek hai beta…lelungi…tu jaldi se ghar aaja…Siddharth aaya hai…' said her mom and she gasped 'Sid aaya hai! Kab aaya? Mamma main abhi aaongi…das minute…theek hai..bye bye aur usse kahe woh rukh jaaye…'

'Theek hai beta…jaldi aajao…' said her mom and hung up.

'Meghs mujhe jaana hai…Sid aaya hai! Tu Rohan ko kaho and get him convinced baaki sab main handle karoongi…theek hai? Bye bye…' she said and picking up her bag, she ran away.

'Sid ka naam lete hi kaise bhag jaati hai…hai kitna pyaar hai…' said Meghna and went off to call Rohan.

CRASH!!!! And and the book shelf crashed to the floor. The whole room was in a mess and he still couldn't control his anger. Today was the worst day of his life: he was so damn humiliated in front of his staff! Tomorrow! I will make their life hell! Main pata karwake hi rohoonga ki isse kisne kiya hai…he thought furiously and kicked a table with such force that it broke into pieces by crashing into the wall…'Nakul saaf karo isse' he shouted and went to gym.

'Kitna ghatiya insaan ho tum yaar…tumhe zara sa bhi self respect nahi hai? Woh hum dono ko juda kar raha hai aur tum ho ki ek help nahi karte mere! Tum mujhse pyaar karte ho ya nahi?' Meghna screamed into the phone.

'Sweetheart! Main tumse pyaar karta hoon yaar lekin main bhai ke saamne nahi jaa sakta…woh aaj bohot ghusse mein hai aur agar main unke saamne jaonga toh bach kar bahar aane ki ummeed nahi rakh sakta…samjha karo sweety…main baad mein jaonga…sachi…'

'Meri kismet phooti hai ki maine tumhare jaise darpok se pyaar kiya! Arrgh! Maro tum! Kuch nahi hosakta tumse!' screamed Meghna, feeling extremely annoyed at her boyfriend.

'Meghu…kyun chilla rahe ho yaar…maine kaha na jab unka ghussa thanda hoga to main jaakar convince karoonga…abhi woh gym mein hai…bahar aate hi main unse baat karoonga…promise…sweetu…'

'Promise?' she asked again…

'Haan sweety…promise…' he replied and cut the call looking crestfallen!

'Haa!!! Sid! Kaise ho tum…' Geet exclaimed and ran into his arms…

'Main bilkul theek hoon…geetu…tu kaisi hai? Aur mujhe miss kiya?' sid asked, hugging her.

'Main theek hoon, infact mast hoon aur maine tumhe itna miss kiya itna miss kiya ki kya bataye!' she said, jumping up and down, clearly excited that Sid was here and Sid rolled his eyes at his innocent yet extremely naughty girlfriend. 'Aunty dekhiye! Dekhiye aapki beti ko…'he said.

'Haan beta…dekh rahi hoon 22 saalo se…' she replied and Geet whacked her mother's arm playfully. 'Toh tum kab aaye aur tumne khana khaya? Kya nahi khaya…chalo aaj hum dono saat mein kahan khate hai..' she kept on ranting and took him to the dining table and they enjoyed their dinner. Suddenly, Geet got a call and she excused herself and went to answer the call.

'Ha bol meghu...' she said and Meghna replied 'mission successful…Maan ne party host karne keliye maan gaya…'

'Awesome! Toh baaki sab main dekhlungi…theek hai…' said Geet and cut the call. So, it was the time for phase 2, 'Maan Singh Khurana, dekhte hai iss baar tu kaise bachega mujhse…' she thought and grinned naughtily thinking about her plan.
