About respecting her actors, I don't agree on this, many situations proved that Ekta doesn't respect all her actors... She is biased to the people who do her ghulami...

jyo! u r so right..I think gurti not givin joint interviews to SBS/SBB is a wise decision..( however it really hurts not to see them givin interviews together) but the reality SBS and SBB has done nothing good for them..just cashed in their popularity..so its good if they dont want to give much " masala" to them.

2mrw if they are called for a good show even if for a interview, I dont think they will mind givin it together😛

Yup you have to admire Ekta kapoor's business acumen... I have always been her critic for the kind of show she produced...always stayed away from a show that had Balaji stamp on it...never watched any of her shows ever...maybe a few episodes here and there. But I admire the lady for her commitment and dedication. Her recent movie is such a hit but I havent heard her neglecting her tv shows...I agree she is a much much bigger name than 4lions but then she started new at some point...she is ruthless too but she would have never been foolish enough to ignore a couple like Maaneet who invoke such mass hysteria amongst audience. She wud have held on to a pair like that and made the most of it!!!!

@Jyo: So true! It's all about multi-tasking and not being scared or reluctant to take on more than one thing at a time. Even though PKYEK was on a small channel, she didn't underestimate the power it could have and as much as I hate to say this, although it never reached the heights of Geet's highest TRPs, it has been the highest rated show on SO for about 7-8 months now. Also, the production value of the show remained uniform and was aesthetically attractive to viewers. For this we really have to appreciate Ekta. She takes full responsibility for her creations and delivers the best she can for each of them. 👏 It is this kind of integrity and dedication to each project she undertakes that is sustainable in the long run.

4Lions as a PH, handling different shows has the same problem I see with MP as a writer. He is unable to develop more than one storyline at a time and even that one storyline is not always logical or interesting to watch at all. Even such a high drama concept as Vikram was handled so badly because there was no depth to his character, except that brought out in his mannerisms by Sundeep's direction. In the end what I feared happened. It became a cat and mouse between Maaneet and Vikram until he was gone.

Similarly, with their shows, 4Lions repeats the same thing over and over but one day it is going to run out because they aren't putting anything new, either financially or creatively, into the mix or adding depth to what they already have. Banking on what a few creative people did one year ago for continued success is pathetic and they will see their just desserts.
