She came down the stairs, told the nanny to keep and eye on Suhana and made for one of the many cars parked in the lot of Khurana Mansion. A driver immediately came and opened the door for her. She got into the car and answered the driver's questioning look with,

She reached the Taj half an hour later. She looked about and the grandeur of the place scared her a bit but she knew she had to be strong for she has come thereto find her love.

She asked at the reception for the direction to the party and the receptionist led her in. she had brought a mangalsutra along..she wanted to know if he will accept her.

She walked in and the lights flashed on her. She stood there stunned for a second at the door and her eyes searched for him. She found him standing in a corner talking to a group of people. His face betrayed no emotion but she knew the turmoil he was in.

Every male in the party was staring at her but he didn't even look up at her. She knew why. He would not look at any other girl when his heart was with her. She blushed at the thought and started to walk in.

She had hardly taken a few steps in when someone stopped her.

Mam..may I know whom do u want to to meet.

She fumbled for a second I am his secretary. She didn't know if she had the right to call his wife yet or not. She wanted him to announce it.

He looked at her with a raised eyebrow. She produced a card for invitation.

He nodded and let her walk. She reached him and put a hand on his shoulder.

He turned around.

His expression changed from shock, to fear to love in a moment.

Before they could speak the lights were dimmed and all were invited on the stage for a dance.

She smiled at him and he took her hand in his and led her to the dance floor.

The song played made her want to tell him that this is how she was feeling at the moment.
