Maan held the belt in his hands...he took off her shirt...Geet's painful voices played in his head ..."Veerji..please...don't kill my baby..." He closes his eyes and hits himself...her painful eyes, her voice, her marks..everything came in front of him...he kept hitting himself harder and harder..to feel her pain...he drowned himself with guilt as he hit himself..yet it was not enough...slowly blood started dripping down from his back...but Maan kept going ignoring his pain..which was nothing to what she went through...

Geet woke up to get some water. She saw Suhana was sleeping peacefully. She gets out of the bed slowly making sure she doesn't wake up...she covered her with the blanket...carrying water jug with her...She was going up the stairs with filled water jug, towards her room, when she saw light on from Maan's room. She didn't know why but she had to check up on him...slowly she tiptoed toward his room.

She was glad that the door was open half way so that she could easily check up on him before going back. She stood against the door and dropped the water jug. She stood there shocked as she saw Maan hitting himself with belt again and again. Her eyes teared up seeing the blood drops on the floor. It seemed like he was in a trance...

"Maan..." She quickly opens the door and runs to him...she takes the belt away from him..and inspects his wounds with tears..she touches his marks..making Maan wince in pain. She slaps him hard on the face. Maan looks at her.

"Why are you giving me pain? Why?"

"I am trying to understand your pain..what you went through because of me...the belt marks on your back..I wanted to know what it feels like..." Geet looks at him shocked...he turns her around and touches her back from the top of her clothes...Geet closes her eyes in pain..."These marks are because of me...I let my ego come in between us...its all my fault...I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most..I wasn't there to give you the happiness that you needed...I wasn't there to celebrate your pregnancy..instead..I put you through torture...I don't blame your family for doing this to you...I blame myself for putting you through this...I need to know what your pain Geet..I need to feel..." Geet turns around and looks at him...

"What do you think that doing this will make it better..." She puts his hand on her stomach..."Can you feel the baby? Can you feel what he wants and needs? He needs his father...you are not giving pain to yourself but you are giving pain to the baby who will needs you...if you are going to give pain to yourself then give pain to me too...give the pain to the baby too...so that it saves me the trouble of answering any of the baby's questions about his father when he grows up..." Maan looks down..."Yeah..I went through so much pain..but it was nothing..I would go through it again and again for my baby...that past is no longer with me anymore...I forgot my past...now we have to look at our present and future ahead of us...for the baby's sake..." Maan looked at her with happiness..she said our future...

Geet took his hand and made him lie down on the bed...she went to the bathroom and got a bowl filled with water and some towels..she gently started cleaning his back. Maan hissed in pain..Geet bends closer to him to blow his pain away..she couldn't see anything due to her tears..she couldn't stand his blood...she hugged his back while crying...

Part 35B...

He looked at the belt kept on the table he took it with him and started walking towards his gym room'

While walking he passed thru Geet and Suhana's room they were playing wat seemed like some patient doctor game as Suhana was having her doctor set'

He heard Suhana say: Aunty now I'm going to check u so plz turn above ' he saw tat Geet's face changed color hearing Suhana, losing the smile Geet started becoming pale but Suhana without realizing started to play and kept her sari pallu aside and checked with the toy stethoscope' He saw tears of pain in Geet's eyes as the tiny hand played with her back' Maan started clenching his fist against the metal of the belt hard tat it started to bleed.

Then Suhana asked Geet to turn front so she'll check her heart beats and Geet did the same wiping the tears not wanting the angel to look at her pain'

Maan walked to the gym and thro' the belt aside'talking his shirt off

All he wanted was to make himself die in pain take in the pain.. he remembered their nite together in the island'how his fear, him loosing trust on Geet tat Geet mite leave him if she comes to know abt Suhana coz all the girls whom he came across where only money minded and when he mentioned abt the kid they had a changed reaction'

That's the only reason tat he showed his attitude after their nite together after he got the call from Adi abt Suhana returning home for holidays'

How he did not trust her love for him tat she gave herself to him.and faced hell from her parents side' the girl whom he sud be treating as the queen he left abandoned in the hands of her evil brother'

He started punching kicks in the air' thinking how Geet cried all the night fearing the safety their baby'

His muscles pained due to the pressure he was going thro'but he dint care'

Geet who was putting Suhana to bed heard some noise came out the room walks towards the direction of the noise when she came she was shocked still' at the sight she in front of her

Maan broke a huge ice piece' hurting himself'

Seeing him pain Geet forgot all the coldness she had for him and rushed towards him screaming Maan' hurting herself'in the pieces of ice'Maan called over Geet as she fell down holding her leg' Maan came near her and touched her legs where it hit her'

Part 36

He touched her and she flinched. The memories of that night flashed through her, he helped her in the same way, he loved her till she knew nothing but him and then he left her to suffer. She didn't wanna repeat that.

She stood up instantly ignoring the pain in her leg and moved back. Maan was shocked to see her reaction.

Thanku Mr. Khurana but I can take care and she walked back ignoring the wound on his hand and the pain in her leg.

He saw her limping and walked up to her.

Geet let me..
