PART 9:

Savitri Devi was a woman of strong convictions and thought her to be a good judge of character. For the first time ever, she had been proved wrong! She couldn't believe that she had read Geet so wrong. She had thought her to be a simple sweet girl, and after watching her fearlessly standing up to Maan had decided she would be the perfect badi bahu!

But boy had she been wrong. The innocent face hid a cruel and wicked soul. She was thankful that Vicky had shown her, her true colors. And then Sameera had dropped her bombshell. She had pleaded with dadima to do something to stop Geet from stealing away Maan. Even though Savitri Devi didn't like Sameera, it was too late. No Khurrana child was going to be born out of wedlock! And this was the perfect solution to save Maan from that Geet's clutches.

But seeing her grandson back to his old harsh and cold demeanor, she had some doubts. The smile which had just begun blooming sometimes was not seen since the day Maan learnt of geet's betrayal.

She looked at him, working out forcefully, trying to forget her.

No matter how hard he tried, he couldt seem to remove the remnants of her ehsaas from his soul. Telling himself that she was a liar and a cheat, a back stabber wasn't enough. The emptiness in his soul made a mockery of his convictions.

How could she do this to him, was it all a lie? Her eyes that spoke the truth or so he believed were just hiding her motives. She had come to destroy the Khurrana khandaaan, and she had succeeded in destroying him. But he was Maan Singh Khurrana! He wudnt give her the satisfaction of knowing she had won.

He had tried to hurt her during his engagement, but the pain in her eyes had killed him a thousand times over. Even in the hospital, his heart had refused to let go of her, till she had regained consciousness. He thanked heavens that he managed to leave before she woke up and caught him.

He wanted to destroy her as she had destroyed him, but managed to hurt himself more every time he did that! He cursed his foolish heart!
