it was nice to see our sherni n smart geet back. she was lost in amritsar circus gang!!! finally we got her back. hope she is here to stay not go back to cutting onions!!!

a spl thanx to d director Sandeep n Barry for banking Maaneet scenes. d leads absence was not felt this time at all. earlier we had to put up with BDs evn n Maaneet scenes. i remember many of us used to be upset seeing GC with Annie n BDs with Geet. this director s much more smarter n managed it so well. Kudos to the team for this efficient mgmt.

though it was mainly due to GC's absence, d way geet s given d lead n solving d union leader problem is a very smart move. whoever responsible (is it Mahesh???) thanx a lot.

loved d maaneet scene! d different bet Maaneet n other couples is beautifully shown. it was a beautiful scene not just filled with Maahis. Evn i felt that Maan's change post-ML is too sudden. if it had been d earlier Maan, his role is perfectly believable. Post ML though he started trusting geet, but too sugary dialogues are not really Maan, particulary post-ML. i don't know when are they going to deal with his ML. or have cvs forgotten that Maan has ML?

overall interesting epi with UL giving d dramatic element. dis is what the serial was lacking - a good negative chr!!!

precap- it was really satisfying to see geet n boss chair n nano standing like employee!!! finally someone had d sense to understand dat female is only a SIDE CHR!!! not evn support chr!!

I need to say this ..whenever GC had gone on leave ,CVs butchered Geet's character ..but this time I glad that the trend is changed and even with GC on leave ,they hv not played with Geet's character but actually gave this power to her character to become the big boss of Khurana constructions and take decisions regarding the union leader 👏👏..

Did anyone saw sbb can anyone pls say what did DD said about GC ,i could not hear it properly :(

Last yr when GC fell ill Swati Pandey turned the script around overnight and showed Geet at her best but ever since whenever there's been such a crisis, Geet's character has paid the price for it... This time once again Geet's strength comes to the fore...lets see how it plays out *fingers crossed*

I totally get what you are saying. In fact it made me feel a lot better about how random Maan's behaviour seemed to me today. 😃

Like I said though, there is no doubt that I loved today's scene. I loved the trusting Maan, the Geet who has proved herself time and again to be capable and trustworthy and therefore earned his unfailing faith in her to handle the situation. I just wish either the IP track or the BR track had culminated this way because that would have meant those great tracks getting their due.

BUT after reading your take I came up with another idea for why this works so thanks for triggering my brain (I think I have not had any characterisation to discuss in so long that I have gotten rusty)! Before ML Maan was never so secure of Geet's love and her sticking with him through thick and thin. Many incidents had led to this insecurity. Before she told him she was pregnant she was constantly trying to push him away, when she confessed and he didn't immediately react in the way she expected she tried to run, when she found out about Dev being his brother she ran, when she thought Maan had bailed Dev out she left him (this time with doubts about whether he was good for her) and finally the horrible Holi incident. Pre-ML, it was a constant struggle for Maan to have and keep Geet in his life, even after marriage and there was always the issue of Dev being his brother and whether she could live with that for the rest of her life. So when the bankruptcy track came along, his insecurities were justified as their relationship had been that turbulent

On the other hand, post ML, she has been nothing but constant and he knows nothing of their crazy past or of Geet's past with Dev. The one thing he does know about her is that she will stick with him no matter what as she even said she was ready to tolerate his hatred for the rest of her life. He knows without doubt that she isn't going anywhere and I think this helps him have this deep trust in her and not feel insecure that if he isn't saving her life he isn't needed. She has made it adequately clear that his existence, no matter how emotionally distant from her, is vital to her being and he operates on this. All he knows about Geet post-ML is that she is an intelligent firebrand of a woman, a devoted wife and bahu and completely in love with him, oh and she is gorgeous of course! So I guess your point about this being how Maaneet would act without craziness from their past getting in the way makes a lot of sense.
