Yes we definitely don't want to see some cheap moments on Maneet in the name of passion. But Maneet can turn simple scenes into passionate ones just with their expressions. One best example is last Monday's episode, there was barely any physical intimacy except the hug, but it was still amazing

@Opti:On bed ,they did show Maaneet cuddling ..not in the morning but at night 😆..if u remember the night in outhouse after the khoon bhari maang fiasco when MSK made Geet sleep after cuddling her in his arms 😳 and also post miscarrage when Geet was in pain ,we had one moment of MSK hugging her from behind in the bed to make her feel nice and then even in jeevan ki bagiya song during her pregnency we got few bed cuddling moments 😳...but now these new writers hv stopped it all 😡

@Jyoti: Oh! I hadn't yet seen the article when I wrote that post but the new track ending within a few days also corresponds perfectly with Roshni's taaza khabar for the day. I hope they come up with something good now. Somebody posted a bunch of weeks' TRPs, which may not be consistent with the ones we usually get, but if you compare them to each other you can see that the TRPs went up just after the file fiasco and for the Satyanarayana puja and went way down this last week. It just goes to show that the things that work are Maaneet drama and romance, and intelligent, professional Geet. In fact they work so well that they can induce some small increase even within the span of a week or two. Imagine if these aspects were actually in the context of a good, long-term story. I think we could easily get closer to 1.0, which is decent for SO.

@Opti: Good observation. On our show one is always shown awake before the other and either bathing, working, gathering stray rose petals or gazing admiringly. They have fallen asleep cuddling many times but never seem wake up that way...hmmm I wonder if there is something to read into that...😆 The only time they spooned was right after the MC, when Geet was sobbing silently into her pillow, so not exactly the romantic, intimate cuddle we want to see, though it was very poignant, and I think the closest we ever came to a morning cuddle was probably Hum Tum, which was before their romance had even taken flight. When I first saw the intense sequence that immediately followed RTM, I thought that is what they were showing, but it turned out not to be the case.

Dammit! There are so many sweet moments still left to picturise on this beautiful couple!

AMMENDMENT: They did cuddle in the BR track, on the first night, right after they stood at the window and played with the rain, only it was blurred and they panned over to that blasted lantern.

The khoon bari maang scene was more of a sitting cuddle. The post miscarriage hug was a cuddle but not something Geet was obvious to, because of her pain. I think in the third one Maan was shown sleeping on Geet's lap like in the honeymoon truck scence. We are yet to see a proper cuddle were both are blissful in their relationship. We always see only one of them in the bed in the morning. Anyway since I am basically a cuddler, I find the absence of a real cuddle, especially in waking up together, a little odd.

Well now that geet has got an extention till january & based on this new track geet's future on SD will be decided so I hope that the Ph pulls up its socks & gives us a gripping track which will ensure geet's stay in SD firstly they should fire mahesh pandey then they should fire the jokers & dev then they should start wiith a maneet tracK i won't mind if on SD they start with a RC track but even to get that track this new track will have to work only then geet can stay on SD so heres a reminder to the cvs that focus more on maneet office scenes send devini jokers & mahesh pandey to jhumritaliya & give us adinky as a parallel track

I am a cuddler too and only married people can understand the peace and happiness in a morning cuddle and they have nit shown that part of it yet. Hope after this stupid track, and they are together in one room , we get to see some beautiful and natural hubby wifey moments

I just found two instances of morning meta-cuddling, if you will 😆

One is on their honeymoon, when they wake up, not cuddling exactly but holding hands and with their heads very close. Geet then cuddles with Maan's hand, which is apparently the best she could do, with the threat to the baby hanging over their heads.

The other one was when Maan sneaks into Geet's room in A'sar and Mamaji records their dalliance on his phone. Maan ends up staying and they show them still sleeping in the morning. I give credit to the actors for making this look so comfy! When you stop and think, it really can't be.

But we are still waiting for that proper morning after cuddle moment and I hope we get it! Like you said Opti, I see no reason why we shouldn't when it is just a matter of geometry. 😊
