On the one hand, I agree that the impact of Maaneet's ML story was somewhat lost because of the overwhelming stupidity of the side-tracks post NT's exit (long before the leads' sickness). Then again, I think that while they have taken long enough with this ML track, time wise, they have not really brought around the attraction in the most consistent way.

I would really liked to have seen a friendship of equals develop between Maan and Geet, before the romance set in. It would have brought a new dynamic to the relationship. During the Teej track, I thought it was beautiful that even though Geet was the root of Maan's problems, she was the only one who understood him, in whom he could confide and relieve some of the intense pressure he was under. I really wanted to see more of them talking and having fun, not just about their relationship but about random stuff, just getting to know each other, doing nice things for each other.

Basically I wanted a whole lot more of the key-catching episode, with Geet at the office and them spending time together, outside the context of their relationship as husband and wife.

I can't say it wasn't strange to see a Maan who had just accepted and was mildly affectionate and respectful of Geet to suddenly spout the rules of marriage during the ring game. 😕

I just don't know if I love the idea of MSK "playing husband". He once again took on Geet's happiness as his responsibility and she reverted back to dependent housewife mode (Grrr Mahesh Pandey). Instead, I would have liked to see them get to fall in love again as equals.

All I can say is that they messed up after teej geet should have given some space to maan the maha episode should not have been about nandini's kidnapping I don't care what happens to her it should have been more about geet giving space to maan & maan stalking geet & in the end this would lead to a friendship between thembut mahesh pandey messed up when will this writer leave ? he said that he is leaving geet but he is there shamelessly butchering maneet I guess he will leave next month as even ved raj left in the end of the month but we got the news of his exit in the begining of the month so I hope that mahesh leaves geet ASAP

Hmmm Samana .. who says that can't happen even now? See we've seen them become friends before marriage pre-ML ... and now even though he has his ML .. even though he's had to accept her as his wife and THEN get attracted .. even though all that has happened .. they could still get to know each other more .. they could still become friends, equals .. I mean there have been instances where he's asked her about his past with her .. namely how she reiterates A'sar and to what extent he went to get her back .. he was surprised at that .. and so there could still be more scope for them to become good friends as well as fall in love .. I don't think he's forcing himself to accept her just because he knows he's married to her and has husbandly duties towards her .. that's what his mindset was before. . but when he starts to get attracted to her .. when he starts to actually want to hang around her without any obligation ... that is all natural .. nothing forced so I'm ok with it .. but yes I would like to see them just talking it out like friends come husband and wife ..

I guess I was unhappy with the idea of him even "taking on the responsibility" of keeping Geet happy, even before he started having feelings for her. It's all the male presumption that gets to me. But that is Maan's character, I guess. He takes on responsibilities, solo. Geet needs to start from scratch and teach him how to be vulnerable again.

I hope the CVs do include some lighter moments between them that are still relevant. They used have so much fun together, even till Rohtak. I miss that light banter and comedy without Geet doing her OTT Punjaban act. I loved her little fantasies in Dadaji's house, when she called Maan a desi jaat and said she was his jhatni 😆

See I feel MSK hugging Geet and taking their relationship one step ahead by inviting her to his room does not really mean that he has started loving her and is all set to start a normal husband-wife relationship 🤔
