Jyo: you're absolutely right! I was just thinking the same thing .. now that he realizes her importance and the meaning she holds in his life .. he has started to loosen up .. doesn't necessarily mean he loves her madly .. there's time for that .. but he's definitely attracted .. and he won't deprive Geet of at least the content that he is with her ... so by giving hugs, etc he assures her that everything is fine even though it may still take some time for him to wrap his head around things .. one of them being falling in love while the other is dealing with his ML...
