I'm making a post here after a really long while. It seems like a million years. And i bet this is my last post here. When i started watching this show, i couldn't have imagined it to end up like this. I wanted Dev to be punished severely. I wanted him and rapists like him out there to know that women are not powerless. They have dignity, self-confidence and can take on the effing world. And that people like him should be punished.

But now, it seems like that night between Dev&Geet (🤢) was just a convenient plot device? A rape was a convenient plot device? I didn't watch this show from the beginning to be completely ruined. Do you people have any idea how much this could affect the general public? You people are glorifying rapists! You people are showing to the general public that people like Dev can get away with basically... anything! What sort of a message are you people trying to deliver? That in the end, women don't matter? Marriage is a joke? This is personally very offensive to me and I will not stand by this crap.

Geet is no more a story of a young teenager who had suffered so much due to her family. Who had decided to live her life on her own terms and find justice. This is about how women in the end don't matter. AT ALL.

AMEN to your Post.. Lots of people here have horse blinders on their faces. There should be respect for creativity but now creatives have nailed it to the coffin. Preach on Babe or Dude whoever you are.

GurtiRocks2012: I'm sorry I get your pain but since when was this a "Come Bash GC" post ??? This post is made in terms of what is happening to the SHOW .. the lead and his personal life has no equivalence to the disasters being shown within the show nd the storyline. Please spare us with trying to bring up the tattoo issue again .. everyone has looked over it and it doesn't seem to affect us whatsoever when we watch the show .. cuz frankly we watch it for Maaneet ..and if news channels are interested in it so be it .. but can you kindly not bring that situation into this one?

@ Gurtirocks2012 - Kindly refrain from bashing GC. This post is predominantly towards the creatives and their lack of a functioning brain. It does not entitle anyone the right to criticize and judge our leads whom have been working hours to entertain us. We should appreciate the fact that none of them decided to leave the show half way. They have faithfully stayed with us till this very day and thus it's not nice for anyone to lash out at them for their personal decisions.


I'm sorry to break it to you but believe it or not, the leads are actually human! The discovery is amazing is it not? 😳 If we can call in sick for a day at work, or take a vacation then why can't they? The leads are not some machines that are programmed to work every single day, every single hour just to please us.


And don't insult this show by associating it with Ekta 🤢. Had it been her show, GC would have died months ago - came back to life with a new face whilst Geet would be shown doing a merry go round and getting married to every single man found in the planet of this earth.


I did not like the idea of the tattoo but as I said again, it's his decision, his life. I would not stop myself from doing something that makes me happy just because society will frown upon me. If the creatives had any brain cells they would have used the camera panning in such a way in order to conceal the tattoo. I haven't seen or taken notice of it now. So really couldn't they have done the same thing in the initial episode?


I'm not bashing you or trying to insult you. But this forum and thread does not influence people to openly bash an actor just because we are not satisfied with his choices. I know for a fact that we would all be jumping in joy if his tattoo said Drashti instead. We wouldn't care that his openly expressing his emotions because we love the couple. I am no way a Debina & Gurmeet jodi fan (no way) but right now I'm thinking realistically. And realism is biased.

This is on the word 'Secod hand' ...

My mentioning here is nothing to do with GHSP or Geet or Maan's charaters in the series or even whether it is right or wrong to use this word for ANY ONE.

But just thought of still mentioing that in the society i have seen this word being used. I have seen it being used very casually when the proposals of men who were divorced are referred to for marriages for prospective brides. Probably same must be used for proposals of divorced ladies too for prospective grooms.

So is this a different society then? May be. I don't know. But i have seen it being used in the society. Though it may sound derogatory in conversations or in writings but i have also seen it being used very casually without it meaning to be derogatory and without it sounding as derogatory but just to clarify that the guy whose proposal is coming is a divorced man,

This is not as such for discussion but just to mention some first hand 😊 experiences of life.
