why is the PH not focusing on Geet?

DD is marvelous actor and can surely make this happen. I would prefer if the male costar is not married to prevent any jealous wife situations.

DD has already worked with Mayank Anand and a lot of other guys in commercials and videos. I think what GC and DD have created is phenomenal and will be difficult for either of them to replicate with a 3rd person. The X-factor will always be missing!

well in future u might get ur wish of seeing DD with a handsome unmarried actor with whom she'll have wonderful chemistry... but at the moment she's doing geet where she's paired opposite a handsome talented married actor with whom she has wonderful chemistry... DD and GC are the main leads of the show and most people watch it for them... if u don't like watching drashti with gurmeet then u are probably watching the wrong show...

i totally agree PH lost interest ..but they are doing grave mistake by shutting this show ...the way they are handling show making me really disappointing , .. but i believe they will soon realize their mistake ..i know right now they have other ventures in hand but that doesnt mean everything will be hit like GHSP

I so agree! Having talents like GC and DD who not only share sizzling chemistry but can also act beautifully, bringing their characters to life is their strong point. Wonder why PH isn't interested in the show anymore...and if it's coz they have other shows running, it's pretty unprofessional on their part...this speaks volumes about their management abilities and also the future of the other shows once they get some new show on some other channel.

Wish they realize their folly and do some damage control before it's beyond repair.

What the PH seem to have gotten wrong is the 'working formula'.. they though that the concept alone, of an angry young disgruntled man against the innocence of a simple joyful spunky girl, is what worked in GEET..

The fact is GC portrayed that character to perfection and gave a new dimension to 'angry yet HOT' , and DD is one of the very few powerhouses of talent in the television industry.. then- both are really humble and thus work well..

That was their winning formula- the concept, the director, and the actors GC and DD.. the two actors who can send the mercury soaring with what they express through their eyes☺️ alone.

HOw could they even think they could replicate their chemistry with other actors.. its a hilarious idea.😆

i agree! i too at times wish i had enough money and gumption to start a PH and cast the 2 together.

Bhabha, i disagree with u on this...DD is a great actress and yes, would do well paired with someone equally talented but she has a great foil in GC -he compliments her feminity beautifully with his masculinity - physically, they compliment each other perfectly-she is petite and small built and very very feminine and comes right upto his nose...so when she stands on tippy toes to come face to face with him , its adorable to watch. He has angular face, high cheekbones, beautiful eyes and is perfectly built-not beefy or big like so many others. Together, they have a great profile ...this really adds to their chemistry for me...i once saw a VM with GC and Shilpa Anand which was cute but thats when i realised that Gurti , physically , look superb on screen coz of the way they are structured...so dont think it would be easy for them to replicate the same chemistry with someone else...

Can't agree with u more dear.Wanted to make a similar post some time back but was afraid it would be taken as bashing another show so kept quiet. Just 2 days back I saw an episode of their show on SP and I was shocked to see the beautiful set they had for the house. Then when I saw our show I was so disappointed to see such a bad set. I hate seeing KM now a days. It looks so awful. Terrible walls and such a small kitchen and the dining table in the kitchen is such a terrible sight. From no angle can it be said to be KM. Its not fair of the PH to give such step-motherly treatment to the show which won them so much recognition and so many accolades. But the thing which bothers me more is why is the second PH also not doing anything about this show? Looks like either they are also not interested or the major contribution is from the other PH. Whatever may be the reason, but their new show is way behind our show in every way...except for the sets I guess...

@mehek, i too think there has been some fallout b/w the 2 PHs and thats why a lot of the technicians on GHSP left for 4 lions SP show. Off late, with Maan singh coming back as director, H. gandhi as the camera head etc, i figured the 2 PHs would have reconciled their differences. But my doubts have resurfaced with all these rumours of geet ending
