Naintara aka Sonali Nikam is the negative lead in Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi on STAR One, but she has gained a number of fans who admire her style in the show. We get the fashionable Naintara to disclose her style secrets.

How would you describe your style?
I love the saris that I wear in the show. I would describe my style as hot, sexy and glamorous (laughs).

What are the reactions you have been receiving for your look as the stylish Naintara?
My male friends say that I look sexy, while the girls say that I look stylish and elegant. However, a lot of people have suggested that I should try sporting wavy hair instead of my now straight hair, as they feel it will suit me better. I might try it in the upcoming episodes.

Do you like wearing saris in real life too? Which are your preferred outfits?
I love wearing saris off-screen too, especially after my real marriage. Sometimes, I wear western outfits too, and I am okay with whatever I feel comfortable in. In western outfits, I like jeans and T-shirt and also cute dresses. I make sure that my outfits are not too tight, as it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Which are your favourite accessories?
I love my watches and goggles. Although I am not very brand-conscious, Titan is my favourite brand when it comes to watches. I remember, my dad gifted me a Titan watch during my school days, and the brand has been my favourite ever since. I am not too fond of earrings, necklaces and other girly accessories, but I am forced to wear them in the show. So, I wear small earrings or studs.

Suggest some style tips for fans…
My suggestion is that you should wear what you feel comfortable in. Don't imitate what others wear, and try to create your individual style by mixing and matching clothes and accessories. Experiment and find out which clothes and colours look good on you.

Which fashion bloopers should be avoided?
Dress according to the place that you are in. Don't blindly copy what you see actors wearing on TV or in films. Do not get easily influenced. Make sure that you do not indulge in too much exposure; it will save you from getting into trouble.

Which are your favourite products from your make-up kit?
I love the strawberry blush-on and lip gloss by MAC. I use these in the show too. I also love wearing kajal, as it can make anyone look good. I feel that just lip gloss and kajal are enough to make a girl look good; you do not need too much make-up.

Which film/TV stars style do you admire for their style?
I love Kareena Kapoor's style, both on- and off-screen. I like the kurtis that she has worn in Bodyguard and her T-shirts in Jab We Met. The clothes may not be too great, but the way she carries them off makes all the difference. I also admire the way she styles herself when she wears western outfits off-screen.
