I was wondering if you ever saw this...😆
I am glad you saw it now, better late than never, right?
And I am even happier that you liked reading it!
Yes, the CVs had fashioned Maan into the perfect, imperfect man. He wasn't a saint but he was wrong in all the right ways, principled to the point of stubborness, possessive, closed-off and angry, prone to wild displays of raw masculinity...what a concoction! 😍
It's true that his character has been compromised greatly post-NT's exit. It is torture watching him go around lecturing on marriage. The real Maan led by example! Time was when his "action" spoke louder than his words.😉
Thank god for this forest fiasco. At least Maan is back to being all stormy and masculine. I was getting sick of the blushing school boy who had a penchant for lecturing his immature relatives when his still somewhat estranged wife isn't watching.
I would love to write more but to be honest, the show as it is presently is not inspiring me to make long posts about story and characterisation, because frankly, neither of those exist right now.
Or course I continue to enjoy the Maaneet magic whenever Mahesh Pandey (may gnats fly into his ears and prey on his pea-sized brain) is gracious enough to squeeze them in between the stagnant, tasteless comedy of his vacuous creations.
BUT if you have another inspiring topic in mind that spans the entirety of the show then lemme at it!
