well...that was quite the analysis...and a very good one at that...you got me thinking...and i guess when you explain it this was maan's behavior does make sense...the real problem is the ML...its hard to accept that maan cannot remember not even little bits of his life with geet...

I loved your post and reread it two times to make sure I got everything! You put everything so beautifully and clearly that I felt like all my feelings about the characters were being articulated for me.

The one idea I disagree most with is when people say Geet has to go back to her old self, ie the demand for the Geet Handa of yore. But I think you hit the nail on the head when you said she is simply not that person any more. Her reactions in those days stemmed from the idea that she had to fight the world at large for her share of happiness and security, she was certainly "in the zone" as you say after fighting with her own family. She is in a very different place now, and even though he is back to his old self, it's not like she can just bury all the feelings she has for him, influenced by everything they have shared, to be able to act like she used to.

And, I totally agree that Maan was never attracted to her "bubbly Punjaban" act. It was more her ability to remain happy and cheerful despite all the things she had had to suffer that drew him to her. So what he needs to see now is her strength, which would, like you said, provide for a new and interesting direction for the story. Of course she needs a few days to gather herself so like you said, we have to give it time.

Planning has never really been Geet's mode of operation. She is mostly spontaneous and really "follows her heart" and that is part of why Maan fell for her, so I don't think she should try to plan anything to make him fall in love with her. She should just stand my Daadi and give him as much space as he needs until he comes to realise how strong, selfless, not to mention gorgeous(!) she is and falls for her again!

Lets hope to have good maaneet story moving forward

Thanks for this brilliant topic!👏 Hope some impatient fans will develop patience and enjoy this beautiful journey of falling in love again without asking for shortcuts! I just hope/pray the CVs do continue with the slow process than just fast forward with flashbacks!

Agree with u that today her strength will be the real attraction for Maan...and the consequent maturity. I hope they stop showing the klutzy Geet that bordered on air-headism (is there such a word?😲😆) which might irritate Maan no end. Of course, a mild dose of cheerfulness could be the order of the day.

Her dedication to and love for Dadima are already evident to Maan and probably that could be the first step towards a slow transformation in his feelings for Geet. I hope the cvs have already factored in a bit of a distant attitude on Geet's part...on the lines of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'...in this case, physical presence but mental absence.

I believe that the new promo will highlight their nokh-jhokh scenes...I hope they are more on the intense side rather than the Tom and Jerry kind which we've already seen and was suitable for thatt era but not in the current situation!
