CHAPTER 4
Maan nodded and went to library on the pretext of returning the books, he knew he'll find Geet there. They met there and then talked about a various things but Geet ddin't mentioned about his birthday as Abhimanyu told her that it was surprise party.
The next day, Geet woke up, with a bright smile. She was really looking forward for Maan's birthday. She picked up the phone as it rang, she knew it was Thierry. Thierry called her every morning at 9am of India to wake. Whereas it is around 5 AM in France. But he wants to be the first to talk with her.
"Hey sexy, how are you?"
"I am absolutely fine, how about you?" said Geet in happy tone
"I am good, but you seem really happy, now tell me why are you so happy?" asked Thierry
Geet shook her head and wondered 'how he knows me so well?' and said "Yeah actually It's my friend's birthday today"
"Guy or girl?" asked Thierry teasingly
"Guy" answered Geet
"Let me guess, it's PRIDE's birthday" said Thierry.
Geet smiled widely, Thierry always called Maan 'Pride' "yeah it's Maan's birthday" confirmed Geet
"Yes, I knew it" he jumped in joy and behaved like he had a victory
Imagining how Thierry would look at this, Geet laughed.
"So, Have you bought any gift?" asked Thierry
"huh...huh...no"replied Geet "I didn't knew what to buy."
"Hmmm how about locket on which it's written 'Maan' or 'pride'?" suggested Thierry
"Nice Idea, it would be beautiful yet simple" agreed Geet
After few minutes, they said bye. Thierry went to sleep. Before going to college, Geet went to a jewelry shape and gave her locket order.
"What would you like to be engraved on it?" asked the shopkeeper
"Maan" replied Geet
"Ok"
"And I want it by 7PM" said Geet
"Ok then you can come and take it after 5PM" she took the bill and gave to Geet "and here is your bill"
"Thank you"
After ordering the locket, Geet went to college. Entering in the college, she saw Maan. "Hi Maan, how are you?"
"I am fine and you?"
"How does I seems to you?"
"very happy"
"Yup, I am really happy. Now let's go, we are getting late" After that they made their way in the college.
By the lunch time, Rahul parked his car in the parking and came from the car. Coming out from his car he entered in the building and made his way toward Kashish's cabin.
Kashish was sitting in cabin and looking at her wristwatch after every minute, she knew Rahul would be there any minute. She was waiting really eagerly. As she heard the door opening, she tilted her head and looked. And there was none other that Rahul, she smiled looking at him and he too smiled back, but there was something missing.
"What happened? you like cute upset?" said a concerned Kashish
"Actually I am not upset but I am confused, I don't know what should I buy for my brother for his birthday." said Rahul like a baby
"How about we go in mall and find a gift for you brother" suggested Kashish
"perfect" said Rahul with a big smile "but first I want to eat something, you know I can't do anything when I lack energy" said Rahul with a grin
"and you get energy when you eat" said Kashish with a chuckle
"you know me too well"Rahul said looking in her eyes, they kept staring in each other's eyes.
Coming out from the eye lock, they made their way in a restaurant after eating they went to a famous mall, they visits almost all shops but Kashish like nothing.
"Kashish this is the last shop and if you don't like anything here then I can't do anything" Rahul was really tired
"Idea" an Idea stuck in her mind
Rahul frowned but the gave in "what's your idea?"
"I was thinking how about you gift him a motorbike or a sportcar?" said Kashish
"WOW Kashish the idea is superb" saying that he hugged her and kissed her on her cheek making her gasp and have goosebumps.
Moving back, he looked at Kashish, and he saw her blushing, 'I know Kashish you too feel something for me' he thought, it gave him a ray of hope that she too loves him and it encourages him.
"Shall we go?" asked Kashish
"yeah"
They went back to the office, where they talked a bit more and than Rahul left to his office and later he went to see a gift for Maan.
After their classes were over, they were standing at the gate. Geet was waiting for a taxi when Maan said "Geet, do you want to drop me?" asked Maan politely
"No Maan you carry on, I will go by taxi" said Geet with a smile
"Ok then but I will wait with you till you got a taxi"
Geet smiled, she was really touched as he always stood with her till the taxi come.
As Geet reached home, she looked at the clock, it was only 2PM, she had three hours to pick the locket up. She decided to sleep a bit. She went to her room, she set the alarm and laid on the bed in not time she fell asleep.
She jumped as the alarm went on, she looked at the time and it was 6PM. She quickly get up and took a shower. Then she wore a beautiful turquoise salwar kameez and left for jewelry shop.
She came out from the shop holding a bag containing the gift and she went to the restaurant where Maan's birthday is arranged.
As she entered in the restaurant, she couldn't help but admired the restaurant, It was so beautiful. All the furniture were expensive, the choice of color was such a specif which gave a beautiful glow to the restaurant.
Her eyes fall on table, which was located in the middles of restaurant, where all the friends were sitting. Maan wasn't there yet. She made her way to them.
"Hey guys" said Geet
"Hi" said everybody
"Where is Maan?" asked Geet
"Don"t worry, Abhi will take him here in a bit" said Sonia, girlfriend of Maan's friend. "Oh see here, he is"
Geet turned and looked at him, he was wearing a blue modern jean and white pull over. Abhimanuy and Maan came to them and greeted.
"Guys, why are we here?" asked Maan
All said in unison "Happy birthday". Maan acted like he is surprised.
"Oh My God! I completely forgot about it" saying that Maan hugged all his friends including Geet. Sending electricity throw her spine.
Abhimanyu signaled the waitress to bring the cake. As the cake came, Maan cut it and fed Geet first and then everybody else which made Geet happy.
Everybody gave gifts to Maan and Maan took them. All decided to play a game.
"How about we tell each other our definition of love" said Maan
"great Idea but as you are the one to suggest, you will have start"
"Ok, in my opinion love is the most beautiful feeling, live lasting. It makes you a new person in love." said Maan dreamily. Geet was really impressed.
Few other person told their definition of love. "Now Geet you turn" said Maan
"Love is just a word until you find someone to give it definition (thank Ritu)" said Geet with a smile. Maan looked at her, he really liked her definition. He didn't knew why.
As the birthday was over, everybody went to their house. Geet was about to made her way out but Maan hold her wrist. She looked at him with questioning eyes "what?"
"I want to tell you something" in a nervous tone
"Yeah tell I am listening"
"No, not here" said Maan
"then where?" asked Geet
"come with me" with that he grabbed her hand and led her to his car "sit down"
"Why?" frowned Geet
"Geet do you trust me?"
She nodded and sat down. Somewhere deep down Maan felt good to see Geet trusting him, he felt so happy. He sat in the car and started driving.
After few minutes, Geet's eyes wide open "beach?" she looked at him
"Yeah" Maan parked the car
"You know I love beaches" with that she hugged him and came out from the car
They were standing at beach, he came and bent down in front of her "from the day I saw you, I am madly in love with you, you can say it was love at first sight for me, I really love you"
She was looking at him with tears, she can't believe her eyes and ears. She was so surprised to reply.
She felt so overwhelmed, she didn't how the reply, she was so surprised to say something. Then suddenly word came out "Yes"
Listening to Geet, Maan jumped in joy, and it wasn't fake, it was true happiness but as always he dismissed them as thinking 'I am just happy because I am one step closer to my victory'
He hugged her tightly and kissed her gently in her lips as he found her responding he kissed her passionately. Moving back he said "Say me again that you love me"
"I love you" and this time she kissed him encircling her hand around his neck and he placed his hand around her tiny waist. They stood there in the sand, kissing each other, unaware of the surrounding.
They broke from the kiss as they were out of breath. Maan looked at Geet with such a passion that she lowered her eyes and hugged him.
"You Geet, this the best every gift I received on my birthday, thank you" saying that he kissed on her forehead.
"Maan now I should go, It's getting late"
"Come I'll drop you" offered Maan
"Maan, I don't want people to see you with me" she added "yet"
"Ok" He hugged her and thought 'this middle class girl, they love someone but are afraid to tell' he rolled his eyes.
After that, They kissed again and then Geet left for her house. She sat in her car "why did I lie to him?" she asked herself "there is no reason to which I would like to hide my relation with him?" . She thought 'but why I am feeling that something strange is going to happen' thought Geet
She shook her head "what are you thinking Geet, you should be happy that the man you love confess his love to you" remembering that moment made Geet smile
On the other side, Maan entered in his house and on the same instant the light turned on. The hall was decorated with lots of flowers, balloons and in the middle were standing Rahul and his dad and the guest standing on the sides.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you Maan, happy birthday to you"
Maan rushed to his father and Rahul and hugged them. He cut the cake and fed his parents and then received the gifts. Once the party was over he made his way in his bedroom.
In a while, the servant brought all the gifts. He opened Rahul's gift. It was a small box, he opened it and there was key "key??"
"Yeah key" said Rahul. Maan looked at Rahul and Rahul continued "your gift is in front of the house d..."
Before Rahul could finish, Maan rushed outside. Seeing Maan excited that much made Rahul smile 'this is my brother'.
Maan opened the door and looked a t a beautiful blue sport car there. He was so happy, this was the exact car he wanted, he touched the car and admired it's beauty. He ran back to Rahul and said "Thanks bro" said Maan with moist eyes.
"Your welcome Manu"
"It's not Manu, it's Maan"
"Ok Maan" said Rahul defiantly
Then Maan went back to his room, his dad has gifted him the house he wanted, it was a house located in a rich area. A bit far from there house, well a perfect place to spend holidays.
Maan opened Geet's gift and saw a heart shaped locket, 'Maan'. He smiled looking at it, he really loved the gift and wore it.
A day before Graduation, Rahul and Kashish were like inseparable by now. They spent most of the time together. Rahul had noticed her blushing several time on his touch and Kashish too had notice him looking at her dreamingly.
Geet was really happy to see Maan wearing the locket she gifted him. It looked so good on him.
Maan and Geet, still had not told anybody about there relation because of Geet. As she felt something is wrong, she felt something wrong is going to happen so she told Maan 'Maan I don't want to tell my family yet, I need more time' and Maan accepted like a true gentleman.
Often Maan took her in the stairs and do romance with her. Maan really felt something new, there was something special in Geet. He was confused for now he decided to concentrate on the bet.
The only person who knew about Geet's boyfriend Maan was Thierry. He was happy for her but deep down, he was afraid he also felt something was wrong but didn't knew what. Even Abhimanyu didn't knew that Maan and Geet are boyfriend girlfriend.
From the last seven days, Geet and Maan's class were on a trip in some village which was organized for last year students. Abhimayu didn't came because he was caught up in some work.
The next day they were going to leave, the same day as their graduation. They would reach their by afternoon and in the evening it will be graduation.
Maan and Geet were sitting with their friends, around fire. Maan and Geet were sitting next to each other. Maan softly hold her hand, Ridhila looked at him and blushed, she tried to take her hand back but his hold was firm.
As everybody was tired they retired to their tent, only Geet, Maan were left. Maan grabbed her by her waist.
"Geet I so love you" he gently kissed her lips making her moan.
"I love you too" Maan kissed her all over her face, Geet has completely surrendered herself to him, the love of her life.
Maan picked her in his arms and took her in his tent, Geet was looking all the while in his eyes and he too was looking in her eyes. He made her lie her down.
"Geet if you don't want me to continue then stop me right now, I won't do anything"
Geet looked at him and she was sure about this further step as Maan didn't try once to force her into something she wasn't ready. She kissed his chin giving him signal to continue.
Maan kissed her on her face making her breath with difficulty. Maan took out one by one Geet dress. He kissed on her body everywhere, not leaving a single place.
Geet moaned and then he took his clothes, she kissed him on his chest making him groaned. He gently parted her legs one he was sure he can continue, he entered making her cry in pain, pain of pleasure. Moth moved in rhythm with each other.
Once they were exhausted, they both fall asleep, in each other's arm. Not knowing what's in store for then the next morning.
As they woke up the next day, Geet looked at Maan laying next to her with his eyes wide open. Geet blushed slightly and kissed his cheek.
Maan didn't know what to do, he was confused, he didn't want to let her go. He pushed her hand away and said "Geet take your clothes and get out" said Maan shocking Geet
"What are you saying Maan?"
"What? I am just saying get out" he didn't knew why he felt bad.
Geet was really shocked, she felt her heart shattered in million pieces. It's not like she didn't had any boyfriend before but now it's the first time she loved someone from her heart, she let him made love to her.
What is Geet going to do? Will Maan remain happy giving Geet pain? Will they be able to leave away from each other?
