CHAPTER 3
After a whlie, Geet and Sapna made their way out of the canteen. They were walking in the corridor toward their classroom when Geet bumped into someone. All her books fell down and Geet was about to fall down down but someone caught her on time.
Geet opened her eyes and looked at the person, it was a guy,handsome guy, with blue hazel eyes. "I am sorry I wasn't looking where I am walking" said the guy.
Geet stood up and said "it's ok" she bent down to pick up the books, the man to bend down to help her. Geet was really impressed by the person, he was for sure a good and nice gentleman. After picking the books they stoop up and he passed her the books.
"Thanks" said Geet with a smile
"your welcome" replied the man with a wide smile
"Anyways, I am Geet" and then she pointed toward Sapna "and she is Sapna, my friend"
"nice to meet Geet and Sapna, My name is Maan" said Maan with a big smile, flashing his ever so charming smile.
"the feeling is mutual" said Geet with a bright smile and a glint in her eyes.
Maan for a second was spellbouded by the simplicity, her smile did have something really beautiful and specially her eyes, they were like a sea, full of happiness. He shook his head 'what are you thinking man?' he asked himself.
"So I'll see you around" Saying that Maan left from there.
Geet and Sapna smiled, they really liked Maan, he was really sweet guy, then they made their way toward their respective classroom.
Geet scanned the room and saw there were some free places in the first row so she went their and sat down. Geet noticed all the girls gave her weird look because of her dressing sense. But Geet didn't mind, she love to live the way she wanted to, with her own rules, someone's remark or glare couldn't make her feel bad.
Geet took out the necessary things for the period, she was looking for something in her bag when she felt someone sitting on the seat next to her. She knew it was male, as she knew the smell, Thierry use the same perfume.
After closing her bag, she put it on the ground and looked at person next to her. To her surprise it was Maan "Maan" Maan looked at her as he heard his name,
"what a coincidence, I didn't expect that we'll meet that soon" continued Geet with a smile
listening to her, he smiled "I too didn't hope but anyways sometime the unexpected things make our life beautiful"
Geet smiled widely and nodded her head as she approved what he said.
As the bell rang, the professor entered in the classroom, he introduced himself, the program of the year in brief and then he asked the students to present themself. The time flew really quickly.
On the other side, Kashish was sitting in her office, holding some file in her hand but her attention was completely somewhere else, she was thinking about Rahul and how nice he is. I mean she feel so comfortable with him. She was still in her thoughts when she heard a cough
Rahul parked his car and entered in Kashish company, he was impressed by the fourniture and the selection of colors, he knew it was all done according to her taste. He smiled knowing that he knows her a lot in such a short spam of time.
As he opened Kashish's office's door. He saw her lost in her thought so to have her attention he bough "ahem!! ahem!!". That brought Kashish out of her trail of thought and she looked at him then she gave her a big smile. A smile which made Rahul's day.
Kashish greeted him "hi, how are you"
"fine and you?"
"I am also fine" she paused then said "come in sit down" Rahul entered in the office and sat down "so what bring you here?" asked Kashish
"Can I not come and meet my friend whenever I want to?" he made a sad face which caused Kashish to chuckle.
"Of course you can come and you know you look so cute when you make a sad face like this" said Kashish with a smile
"I look cute only when I make sad face?" asked Rahul with a frown
Kashish nodded her head "yes you look cute only when you make sad face" As Kashish looked at Rahul making a very very sad face, she added "because you look adorable and sweet all the other times"
Listening that Rahul smiled widely "now come on Miss businesswoman" Saying that Rahul stood up.
Kashish too stood up and asked "Come where?" asked Kashish
"for lunch Kashish, see it's already 2PM"
Kashish looked at the clock in her room and as usual she had forgotten for the lunch even though Anjali called her specially to say her to have lunch and she told that she'll have but again she forgot. If Rahul had not shown up she would not even remember.
"No come on Princess, I am hungry, there are not only one animal but all the kind of animal jumping in stomach" This made both of them laugh. They made their way to nearby restaurant and had lunch.
After the classes were over, Maan, Geet and Sapna went out of the college. By now, they had become friends.
They were talking when suddenly someone's mobile starting ringing, "It's mine" said Geet and picked the phone up. "Hi, how are you?"
"I am fine sexy, how about you?" asked Thierry
"I am also great, So what are you doing?"
"I am in a big trouble, sexy" said Thierry with a big sigh at the end.
"why?" asked Geet with a frown
"well actually, I am going on date with Angelina and I don't know what to wear" Thierry was really feeling helpless. Geet can really imagine how must Thierry look at the moment and that made her laugh.
"Please sexy don't laugh at me, but do help me" said Thierry like a baby
"Ok, how about the one I gifted you on your birthday" suggested Geet.
"yeah, the one will be the best, I love you sexy" said Thierry happily, he was jumping in joy. Geet giggled.
Once Geet had put her mobile in her bag she looked at Sapna and Maan who were talking about something. Well rather Sapna was asking Maan regarding her homework and Maan help her out like a good boy
"Hey guys I am going" announced Geet
Maan titlted his head "how are you going?" asked Maan
"by taxi" said casually
"If you don't mind I can drop you at your home" offered Maan
"Thank you, but not thank you, I like it this way" said Geet with a smile.
Maan didn't forced her and just nodded his head. Sapna to left as her bus arrived. Geet left as she found a taxi. Maan was left alone in front of the gate. He turned as he felt someone's hand on his shoulder.
"So how is everything going?" asked the guy
"everything is going great Abhimanuy" answered Maan with a grin.
"This one is though and I assure you that you won't be able, even till the graduation day, to win take her in your bed" said Abhimanyu
"On Graduation day, you will get the result and as far I know it's long enough for me to work my charm on her" said Maan confidently
"we'll see that" with that Abhimanyu left
Maan laid on the bonnet of her car and remembered what happened in the morning.
Abhimanyu came to Maan and say "yaar there is new entry in our class."
"Girl or guy?" asked Maan
"Of course girl" answered Abhimanyu "see here she is coming"
Maan turned and looked on the direction abhimanyu had said. "which one" Maan asked for comfirmation
"The one in pink and green salwar kameez"
He looked at her and was left mesmerized by the girl in green and pink salwar kameez, she was looking so beautiful. 'it doesn't matter that she is wearing salwar kameez because in my bed she will be without any" he smirked evily 'it will be fun to have her in my bed'
"So you in for the bet?" asked Abhimanyu
"of course but for this one, I bet for one lack" Maan accepted the offer
"Ok" agreed Abhimanyu "you have time till graduation"
"One year that's a long time, I can have her before that" said Maan
"I know but I also know that this time you'll lose" said Abhimanyu with a grin
"When will you learn that Maan never loose. It's girls who lose their sense when they are with me. Anyways Ok so the bet is on, till graduation day she'll me in my bed " They shook their hands and Maan and his friends made their direction toward her. Reaching to her, he acted like he is looking at his friend and he bumped into the girl. Her books fall down and he quickly hold her by waist before she could fall.
As the girl opened her eyes, he said "I am sorry I wasn't looking where I am walking" said Maan.
She stood up and said "it's ok" she bent down to pick up the books, he too to bend down to help her. She seemed really impressed by the him, he was sure that she has found him nice and good and why not, he is so hard working to be one. After picking the books they stoop up and Maan passed her the books.
"Thanks" she said with a smile
"your welcome" replied Maan with a wide smile, showing his charming smile, all ready to make her crazy but to his disappointment she didn't seemed affected a lot by his smile. But it was enough for now, he has one year to complete this task, task of woo this beautiful girl, with perfect figure.
"Anyways, I am Geet" and then she pointed toward Sapna "and she is Sapna, my friend"
"nice to meet you Geet and Sapna, My name is Maan" said Maan with a big smile, showing his dimples

After a while, Maan entered in the class and saw Geet sitting in the first row 'now I would have to sit in the first row only because of that bollywood chic' thought Maan
Even thought, he is an intelligent student but he hated to sit in the first row. He sulkingly made his way there and the put his charming smile on his face and sat down next to her.
Maan was looking at the book placed in front of him. He was looking at her by the side of his eyes and saw that she has closed her bag and put it on the groud then he saw her turning her toward her, at this instant he completely focused on his work. Maan knew she was surprised to see him "Maan" Maan acted that he didn't noticeher before. He looked at her as he heard his name.
"what a coincidence, I didn't expect that we'll meet that soon"
Listening to her, he smiled showing his dimples which made all girls go weak "I too didn't expect but anyways sometime the unexpected things make our life beautiful"
Geet smiled and nodded her head as she approved what he said.
As the classes took an end, he made his way out with Geet and her friend Sapna. He knew if he wants to get close to Geet, he would also have to win Sapna's trust. So he helped Sapna like a true gentleman.
He glanced over and over at Geet and found her laughing and talking animatedly on the phone with someone. 'where am I stuck? Had to waist my time in explaining that silly girl about that business chapter. But then If I want to have Geet in my bed, I would have to do that' thought Maan and then explained Sapna about that chapter which he knew very well.
"Hey guys I am going" announced Geet
Maan titlted his head "how are you going?" asked Maan
"by taxi" said casually
'By taxi, it means she is a middle class girl. Like my so called mom. It will be fun playing with her.' he so hated middle class girls and making them falling in love with him then dumping them was his favorite game. "If you don't mind I can drop you at your home" offered Maan like a really nice and good boy.
"Thank you, but not thank you, I like it this way" said Geet with a smile
Maan didn't forced her and just nodded his head, he knew it was only the first day and he would have to wait to drop at her home. Sapna to left as her bus arrived. Geet left as she found a taxi. Maan was left alone in front of the gate.
Maan sighed and get of the bonnet, sitting in his car he made his way at his home. As for caution he decided that he won't go around with any girl as he doesn't want to be caught. He knew a year was long for him stay away from girls but to win this bet he was ready to do that.
The next eight months passed really quickly. Maan, Geet and Sapna had become best friends, Maan was sure that by graduation day this girl will be willingly give herself to him only to be dumped.
Geet talked to Thierry on regular basis, She filled him about Maan and she had told him that she is actually liking Maan, there is a lot of chance that she is love with him, because he is so sweet and caring and told everything about her college life and the same goes for Thierry. Thierry told to be careful around guys and told her not to trust anybody easily and Geet agreed, she knew Thierry only wanted the best for her.
Geet and Kashish as like usually were sleeping in the same room. they discussed about their days but they didn't told each other about Rahul and Maan.
Geet was the person Sonia loved the most and now she had also started calling them, she called Geet 'shona', Anjali 'mama', Atul 'papa', Omi 'dada' and Kashish 'doll' because she has curly hair like a doll.
Kashish and Rahul meet each other very often. They went out for lunch and sometimes they met after the office work and went for a ice cream. Rahul knew he loved her and with each passing minutes his love increased for her but he was afraid to tell her. He wasn't sure if she too loves him or not.
Kashish by now, knew that Rahul and she wasn't not only best friends but more than that. She had seen the way he looked at her and the way she looked at her. She loved all his little gestures.
"Geet...Geet" called Abhimanyu from behind, Geet was walking in the corridor.
She turned and found a panting Abhymanyu. "What happened Abhi?" asked Geet, Abhimanyu was a best friends of Maan and so they all are together during the lunch hours.
"It's Maan's birthday tomorrow actually and we have organized a surprised party, in the blue night club" said Abhimanyu
Even though Geet had gone to lots of parties in discs in France but she didn't feel comfortable to go on here's discs and moreover Thierry wasn't here. Agreed she is best friend of Maan but still she didn't felt like going. She didn't feel really safe, maybe she was too used to Thierry.
"Abhi, I won't be able to come, I don't like going to disco's" and it wasn't a complete lie she didn't like going in India's discos.
"Hmm well then we will instead celebrate it in a restaurant"
Geet nodded and said "Ok now I am going to the library as I have to returns those books before it closed"
She left for the library while Maan joined Abhimanyu "what did she said?" asked Maan
"she said she doesn't like going to disco's, so I tell her that we'll celebrate your birthday in a restaurant" Abhimanyu looked at Maan's face, he knew that Maan didn't liked the idea "chill man once we are done with the bet, you can have as much parties you want" said Abhimanyu
Maan nodded and went to library on the pretext of returning the books, he knew he'll find Geet there. They met there and then talked about a various things but Geet ddin't mentioned about his birthday as Abhimanyu told her that it was surprise party.
