Liked the first one the most coz it's what I would like to see..

Interesting thing you said about Maan's inability to reconcile with the idea that he's married to Geet whom he 'hated'.

Hate her, he does but I think it stems from something deeper than his arrogance and utter amazement that such a klutz could have been employed in his office and still be the darling of all.

His dislike, I think, stems from his attraction for her...do you notice, the more they come physically close, the angrier he gets with her.

I think the knowledge of their being married is going to make things worse for him. He may feel the pressure of having to behave like a husband to someone who is still virtually a stranger to him and still having to fight his attraction though he is now aware that there is no reason for him to do so.

So, until he gets those flashes of memory and begins to comprehend even a little of what he felt for Geet, he's likely to keep her at a distance even if she beguiles him...I think this Geet who is a determined wife, will try, at the most, innocent seduction to woo him back..

But he will resist her as he believes that he is still the woman-hater we saw before.

Meanwhile, a whole lot of hit and miss mahi moments should be expected...I hope they are intense ones with a few dream/song sequences thrown in for good measure!!

Yeah, the first one is my favourite too. I love Geet in harassed-lady-at-work mode.

I did notice, especially in today's episode, that he seemed angrier and angrier with her the closer they got; he literally pushed her away today after catching her. And it may just be a mirage, but there seemed to a be a pregnant pause after he asked, "agar tumhe kuch ho jata to..." before he saw her hopeful expression and changed his tack...to labour unions. But that might just have been the CVs toying with our emotions. I think he hates her for many reasons, but mainly because he can't figure her out, why does he have this unspoken attraction to her and why does his Daadi, the only person he really cares about, keep taking her side? Poor Maan, it's like taking candy from a very crabby baby.

I agree with the knowledge of marriage making for more internal-conflict. We are seeing the beginnings of an attraction and from what we know of their original love story, that is hard enough for him to come to terms with. On top of that knowing that he is married to her will send his denial through the roof and I for one sincerely hope that leads to some tai chi (PLEASE) after which Geet can unconsciously entice him with her impeccable work ethic, unspoiled charm and a song sequence in a saree 😃

I agree with you when you say GC does his best in conflicted-Maan scenes.. although he is an all-rounder when it comes to acting.. I am in love with his tense/infuriated/aggravated/confused/irritated/conflicted scenes .. he's the best in them for sure!

About Maaneet .. well I would love to just see that extreme awkwardness when they're alone .. and Maan knows she's his wife yet he's still so hesitant to frankly talk to her (what a turn that would be from how he's behaving with her now!) and is all silent .. compared to now the way he's yelling at her at the drop of a hat.

I would like that she continues working and if he wants the space to think .. she gives it to him no matter how much it pains her to do so ..

I would also like a flashback type scene because that would be awesome!! Maan hearing all of what they've been through and realizing what a journey they've had together!

Third scenario is just *blushhh* .. hayeee .. Geet is a Sherni .. and I'm sure she'll try with all her might to get her and Maan alone so she could tackle his braincells lol!

I suppose they really could incorporate all three. I have wanted him to know from the start that Geet was his wife because I saw so much potential to go off the trodden path if that happened, both with reference to other shows which have had an ML and with reference to the history of Geet itself. I see lots of potential, like you said!

GC is officially my favourite actor at the moment and while he is good at everything, singular emotions seem almost like easy pickings for him. He is so wonderful at communicating multiple layers that I feel only these conflict-ridden scenes give him the chance to fully expose the depth of his talent. Of course looking yummy the entire time 😉

I really want him to be awkward around her. Because honestly, Maan is kind of socially awkward. Before Geet, he didn't know how to talk to people, make friends or have real relationships and the only people that cared about him were Daadi (you can pick your friends, but not your pothas), and his staff, well, because they were petrified. I even saw a hint of my dream-awkwardness today when she steam-rollered him with her words and he couldn't really come up with anything cutting to say back to her. This shows she is having an effect...I think. But when Maan feels awkward I think he just manifests it as anger, ie shouting witty insults at people, so we will probably just get more of that. Oh well, as long as it leads to shirtless tai chi, all is well.

Hey great topic @skg- loved all three of your ideas, but no. 1 seems to be by farr the option with the most potential. I always like the predator mode of MSK- also the jealous and possessive streak could actually make him question why he would be feeling like that upon seeing Geet with another guy. Dont mind the entry of another handsome , powerful hunk- hehehe ! Happy posting !
