Also, it just seems sensible to tell Maan who Geet is as he is facing more mental strain trying to figure out why Daadi, Pinky and Adi like her so much than he probably would if they just spilled the beans. đ
Now I can think of 3 possible ways that Geet can handle this situation, after she overcomes the initial, per functionary guilt of being negligent with the album, of course (these scenarios are sort of a compilation of comments I have been making all day on this subject, with some new ideas):
1. Calm, Sensible and Work-oriented
She can tell him that yes, they are married but she doesn't blame him for not remembering so they can just be co-workers. From this they can develop a working relationship and then friendship, this time around as equals rather than with him as the rescuer and her as the victim of social injustice. I would quite like this. I loved seeing Geet at work in the Maha Episode. She was so capable, with her just-in-case photocopies and her zillion files. It was refreshing after so long, to see her as something other than Maan's wife. Through working together he can have flashbacks, etc and slowly get his memory back. Also, she can be all career-woman, absorbed in her work and not be so concerned with his reaction, which would make him all alpha-male and predatory. đđź A handsome contemporary for Maan could easily be squeezed in and Maan could overhear her saying she would never consider him because she belongs to Maan and melt a little more. (This idea started from a post of madhubala123, so I thank her for that!)
2. Reminiscence
This idea would probably require some participation from Maan but I still see it as a semi-viable scenario. If Maan ever gets to the stage where he asks Geet about their relationship, in a business-like manner, just to get an idea of what in the world he was thinking when he married her she could narrate their story, or moments they shared, or both to him. This would be a great flashback episode for all of us (and we love our flashbacks!) and would also be a throwback to the scene where Maan narrates their story as a "film" soon after they get married. Geet could then break down at some point, even though she tries to be pragmatic about her narration, and have Maan awkwardly comforting her, with a hand on her shoulder, followed by a classic eye-lock, her kind of shocked and him confused but sympathetic.
3. Seduction! (in my dreams!)
A lot of people were worried that Maan would find it hard to fall for Geet with her sindoor and Mangalsutra, but now that problem will become moot. Now he will know she is his wife and if she is confident enough, she can try to arrange "accidental" meetings with her in the avatars that we all know MSK can't resist: wet-hair (already done, but don't mind it a few more timesđ), falling into his infallibly muscular arms, wearing sarees (new ones please!), and just doing that look (the aankhon se sawal poochna look) that drives him crazy etc!
So these are three ways I can see Geet handling the situation after he comes to know. Which one do you think would be most effective? Are there any other clever ploys you can think of?
