I have been away from the forum for the past two days and was ecstatic for a fraction of a second to see that the Geet arrow was green (because I thought that could only mean one thing!) and then heartbroken when I realised the truth! But I also am so happy to see how united everybody has become! We all know that Geet is no. 1 so we should not mind about their algorithms and just continue hitting the CM, making posts and watching the show either on TV or StarPlayer as it comes naturally to us!

One observation that I did make, despite the fact that this new system does not make any sense, is that according to the new rankings Geet was number 9 last week and has risen to number 4. That is a huge rise so clearly all our efforts are paying off even in the new upside-down world that is IF rankings. If we could rise 5 places in one week, 3 more should be a piece of cake, especially given how ahead we are in votes, discussion posts and the fact that the TRPs are rising! We should be back in top next week if we continue at this rate because even if they count the TRPs we are so overwhelmingly ahead in votes and discussions that it might just compensate.

That being said, I am glad they are reconsidering counting the TRPs. StarPlus shows will naturally have higher TRPs because of better access to the channel both nationally and abroad. I always thought IF was an alternative way for them to assess the audience volume and reaction to shows, a way to access a different genre of audience. If they bring the TRPs into this stream of information, won't they be compromising the data that the forum provides?

Thnx for sharing Tanu... But this note has made me even more confused...😆 if TRPs are not included,how come Geet went to no.9,and is now at 4,despite being most active forum😕... It still doesn't make sense to me...
