Hey
Its strange that this is the kind of life many people around us live but it is such a big change for Maan and Geet.
Its is evidently tough to adjust to. specially fro Maan as even his busy schedule had been in accordance to his own preference.
I really liked that part where Maan objected to people like Geet's boss being in her life. Its I think all a part of losing control over your life and of people around you.
All the things if viewed are a bits of daily routine, signs of change which are easily swept under the carpet until they become too large and impossible to deal with. So its good that they really decided to talk about it.
I guess talking does make a difference. And the best part about your conversations is that people dont loose their cool :)

I don't find the condition Maan and Geet are in to be something very big but maybe people who were rich enough and always had an upper hand in things makes all the difference...we all esp the middle class lot do thrive and struggle a lot to achieve in life and some people have to trudge an extra mile to in order that things fall into place! But then for that the right amount of understanding, is what is needed...if you accept, communicate and understand each other better, life though hectic can be wonderful and there will be moments of weakness n joys and sorrows but it will be the togetherness that will reign throughout!

It was a wonderful piece of work by you Sookie...and the conversation you chalked out was all that is needed :)

F, It is not about being rich or anything.

Its all about being introduced to an environment totally different from the current one they are in. Yes, here Maan loses everything and now they are in a situation they have never been before. And coping with that itself is a big thing.

They change trying to adapt to new condition they are thrown into. And changes sometimes rub off people in a wrong way.

We're told what we can not believe... Whatever is meant to be will be... Thus every cloud has a silver lining!

Great end to a new beginning! :S

Yes I do agree that its the situation and circumstances that matter the most but what I meant to say was people born with a silver spoon or those who have all the privileges right from the time they step in this world, have somewhat difficultly adjusting to this kind of situation not to say some really do adjust well and take life as it comes rather than cribbing about it...and I saw Maan and Geet more so Maan in that category who is mature enough to adjust or at least try to adjust in such an environment...

All was meant in the positive way but I guess my way of portraying was not proper
Glad to hear your response :)

Ahh !!!! the bitter reality,
wish u had sugar coated a bit in ur typical cynical manner with a dash of humor.

The granny adage love goes out of the window when bills come through the door is true. Marriage is also like a job and the job description should involve understanding and patience by both parties involved.

However, i do feel that it is difficult for people who are very rich to adjust with harsh realities of life than the less fortunate ones. Those who are used to struggle, may find it easier to be happy with small mercies and pleasures and thus may live their life to fullest.

Should we conclude hence that mundane and routine shakes the foundation of love??

Thanks for ur pm
