Thanks for sharing the article! If they are going down the Saathiya road then the fights will probably be about toothpase-ka-dhakan, shoes on the bed, what to cook for dinner, why did you keep me waiting outside when you took the key etc etc. Nothing major but when both partners are working and only have each other to take all the days stress out on, things can get tense. Also, each of them won't want to "burden" the other with their individual worries, hence the "drift".It will be good though, real and relatable to viewers. I just hope they introduce a cute mentor character, like the older married couple who they rent their house from in Saathiya. Also, I hope it doesn't take one of them almost dying to eventually bring perspective to the relationship!😕

In Saathiya they showed a relationship that was based on one impulsive decision and failure of the protogonists in understanding each other... Till now most MaanEet's misunderstandings have been due the immature behaviour of either Maan or Geet... I was seriously hoping that the CVs would have shown a more mature relationship developing. I can understand small tiffs here and there due to the circumstances they are in and I can understand Maan's ego getting bruised but going along the line of Saathiya where they show the male protogonist behaving like a kid whose continiously acts irrationally cos he can not understand why things are not going the way he wants... I dont know if I want to see that or not... then again if the CVs can handle it well with equal dose of passionate romance (since they are living alone now) the track might just about wrok...

My only worry is that if there is an overdose of negativity it will only affect the TRPs of the show adversly...

Thanks Tanu 🤗

Just posting a few thoughts which I already posted!

Too much of anything can make you sick
Even the good can be a curse
Makes it hard to know which road to go down
Knowing too much can get you hurt.

How true are these lines for Geet right now? There's too much of everything in her life right now, too much love, too many memories, too many feelings, too much everything. And its getting too much for her too handle, its too heavy a burden to carry. Its making it hard for her to differentiate between the good and the bad, the right and the wrong, and which road to go down, the lines are getting blurred.

Just know you're not in this thing alone
There's always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we're growing apart
Let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start.

And how true are these lines for Maan's love for her ? No matter what, he's always been there for her. He's the one she runs to when she's in distress, he's her safe harbor, the one who takes away all her pain. He's her home. And whenever a storm has threatened to destroy them, he's always held her hand till she found her way back to him.

Now everyday ain't gonna be no picnic
Love ain't a walk in the park
All you can do is make the best of it now
Can't be afraid of the dark.

And that's so true for Maaneet-their story hasn't been a walk in the park-they were born out of the ashes of grief, hurt, and all the pain in the world. Whenever darkness has engulfed them, they've held on to each other, been each other's comfort and warmth, till the light found its way to them again.

Anything that's worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
Quitting's out of the question
When it gets tough, gotta fight some more.

And yeah, they know that they're lucky to have found each other, as Geet says, Maan is the blessing that God showered on her. What they have is certainly worth fighting for-because what they have is a bond based on faith, respect, trust, friendship and love. And they'll fight for it, like they have so many times, and they'll come out stronger and wiser, like so many times before.

Well as we know that Maan is on a verge of loosing everything he may be having; but still Destiny has kept Geet with him! His strongest force; when he is crumbling; she will be there to hold his hand; to lead him to a safe road; a safe harbor!

I am sure that this track will actually highlight the Maaneet relationship; for every relation to be strong; it needs to hit the Rock bottom! Maaneet have sailed far till date; and they will shine in this Darkness!

Love
Mayuuu

Wow! I am looking forward to it :)
Reason being, they've not been tested within the dynamics of their relationship to such an extent so far ..
They've been tested with their reliability on each other, their possessiveness, their trust and respect for each other..
But till now both of them have not been in the same situation to judge whose right and whose wrong ..
What I mean is.. now that they're facing the same dilemma .. it'd be interesting to see how each reacts differently .. and it's this different reaction that will perhaps cause a rift .. cause those opinions to come out that both do not agree to .. and they will have a clash ..
Of course it is normal to have these arguments.. these different POVs..
but what I like is that this time .. they will face problems head on .. fight it out but with each other .. and fight it out to later solve it ..
they won't leave each other in this time of crisis but for sure will have those moments when they need to let it all out .. even if it is sour.
Looking forward .. hopefully everyone gives it a chance as we are focusing on Maaneet and their life now :)
