I actually loved the tamizh original "Aalaipayudhey" much better than Saathiya. 😳

Maddy was soo much better than Vivek Oberoi 😳

Rani was really good though. She did as good a job as Shalini did in the original. 👍🏼

Also Shah-Rukh and Tabu fell flat in the end compared to Arvind Swamy-Khushboo in the original.

It is always hard to capture the flavor of the original in a remake be it a movie, a show, a play or even a book (yup people have attempted to rewrite books 😆 😆 😆)

I hv not seen the tamil version ..so no idea ..but I really liked the screenplay of the hindi version ..no film could show a hubby-wifey relationship in such straight and realistic manner which this film did👍🏼

Anyways, so many good news today.
1. we always wantd maaneet Live-in track..which unfortunately was not explored after their marriage..Kabhi dadi toh dev-nandini toh kabhi amritsar circus..
I m glad that now the story would revolve around these two only..but I hope they dont butcher any chracter now..specially geet ka chracter..they should not show her immature and stubborn like they have shown her in amritsar track..where we couldn't connect to her at all..

2. A jealous, arrogant and possesive MSK is anyday welcome..I really want this tukaa of hot boss for geet comes true..Its been ages we are shouting for a man who can give MSK barabar ki takkar.I still rem that look he gave to rahul in the kurbaan hua party..😍

3. GURTI won the aniversary couple..Hope to get their interview soon..😃

Jyo it was better than the hindi one. There were some things I did not like about "Saathiya". I felt that the innocence that was in the tamil version did not come across in the hindi version.
