A reminder for the Channel, PH, CVs and anyone else involved with GHSP - The show. My focus today is on some do's and don'ts in the show...
Maaneet are the central characters of the show. They bring life to the show. They must never be sidelined. In fact everything should be centered around them. They are the focal point so never loose that focus. Having said that, I admit, parallel tracks and stories are important to keep the show going and at the same time ease some pressure of DD and GC. But in those parallel tracks, keep them at the center.Often we have seen them getting sidelined and that's what makes it tough to digest
Another problem is poor editing of Maaneet scenes...often good scenes are edited badly leaving the audience high and dry. Most times what we see in the SBS/SBB segments give us more satisfaction than the actual episode. I know fitting everything in 22 minutes is tough but can we expect editors to be more careful about Maaneet scenes????
Lately we get to see a maaneet interaction on a weekly basis. We need our maaneet dose where they are in the same frame everyday...well if that is not possible, then make it atleast 3 times a week. Now that's isn't an unreasonable demand...is it???? good maaneet scenes make our day so please give us that!!!
A lot has been said and written about Geet's character and clothes...thank you CVs for getting new clothes for Geet!!! DD is such a pretty girl and hiding her behind those hideous clothes was a disrespect to DD's beauty!! Thank god there is a wardrode change and hairstyle change. Geet looks so much better...However she still needs smarter clothes...can we expect to see her in smart casuals sometimes in the future?????? Maybe when they are back in Delhi...
Yesterday's episode was a good example of good comic timing, adorable Geet yet not looking over the top. Thank you for toning her down and a bigger thanks for not indulging in Spousal abuse!!!!!!!!đđ Geet hitting Maan is really annoying. No wife does that...I mean I understand once in a blue moon thingy but Geet was hitting her hubby way too often ...so no Geet hitting Maan please.đ She can be child like with her hubby indulging in tantrums...and that looks good too but not ALL the time. There is a time and place for everything.
Geet was always a strong girl who had her priorieties right. That Geet is lost somewhere...bring her back. We dont need Kitchen politics...we need to see a smart, independent Geet who is making her own mark in life. She could go back to college t ocomplete her education ...thus giving scope to another track or she could go back to office working with Maan and helping him in business. Geet is not a show on a gharelu channel...where all that a protagonist does is take care of home, kitchen, family etc...Our Geet is an independent girl...she can tell Maan that she wants to work at the office since she gets bored at home. There is no excuse of pregnancy anymore... Let our Geet be an independent girl who is making her own mark in life and living in the shadow of her husband.
A few lines about the current track...Amritsar track has been really good with really good breed of actors. I think this time the casting was spot on. Each character has played his/her part really well. maasi, teji/pammi. mama, lucky/preeto...each one of them has been really good
Devini track - I know the path CVs plan to take but you cannot wash away Dev's past. There has got to be some twist in the tale. Dev must confess everything to Nandu. Cvs ...you will get better acceptability for Devini track from the audience if you show Dev talking about his deeds. He must repent for his crime. If you want redemption in the eyes of the audience, then please show us Dev's punishment is some way.
Tejjy/Pammi - Both are good actors so why not explore their relationship too??? Pamm is such a lovable character!!!
With that said...Let me keep fingers for today's episode...I expect better job from the editors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!đłđ Dont disappoint us...let the episode be as good as the pictures and SBB/SBS segments.
I had a bumper opening last week...am expecting to repeat that performance!!!!!!!đ
