Kavi, he'll place her in house arrest! My hubby was a jealous man in the initial years of our marriage. Within days of our marriage we had gone to a garden on a picnic. There was this artificial waterfall and I normally go berserk at the sight of any water body. So I rushed into it unmindful of the fact that I did not have a change of clothing nor even a towel. I called out to my hubby to join me but he did not want to get himself wet so he stayed put.

After I got out, he kept muttering about how irresponsible I was, how I can catch a cold etc. I initially thought he was concerned about my health but soon he blurted out the real reason why he was annoyed. I was wearing an off white suit and he kept looking at me saying that my figure could be seen in the wet clothes although I was pretty sure it could not because I had draped my dupatta (which was dry) over myself. He kept looking at me sideways and kept on cribbing that people were staring at me . I looked around and not a soul was looking in our direction, busy as they were having their own fun under the water or just enjoying the scenic beauty of the garden.

He has mellowed over the years although at times, his jealousy raises its head. I enjoy teasing him by provoking it more and seeing him sulk.
