@ sakshi: i see what you're saying...when i was writing it...i tried to focus on the fact that it had taken years for geet to get where she was, career wise, because she's put her career on hold for maan on various occasions...the exam she went for was only a few days time...in that time she left her son with his father...as a father it was his responsibility to keep the child safe...that responsibility should not always fall on the mothers shoulder...and the thing is...Geet didnt know the call for the London project came...cuz that happened after she left...thats why she told Maan to call her because she'd have come back so he could go and she'd have the child...she said she'd give up her career if Maan had just told her he couldnt watch the child...the fact that their relationship is strained is besides the point...they still lived in the same house as husband and wife...they still shared responsibility for the child...but geet more so than maan...the "figure" in the flashback was Maan...he promised her to look after him (their son)...and he didnt...when he knew that Anne was not capable of watching the child (*hint* the drowning incident geet mentioned) ...he should have called her...i even put in that Maan didnt want the baby when he found out geet was pregnant...as i was writing...Maan was the bad guy...(im horrible i know...lol)...but ya...so that was how i saw it...and how i wanted to portray it...but i totally appreciate your views 😃

^^ What do you mean leaving maan behind? she didnt leave Maan...like for good...she simply left to take her exam...since it was away from home...she had to travel...and trusted her son with his father...and i know what you mean by not being able to see maan as negative...i almost made geet married to someone else so it would be easier to hate him...but ha ha...we cant see geet married to anyone else...lose lose situation...ha ha😆
